This, in turn, gave that figure 12 pair of wings(like an archangel) and also gave it anti-divination and anti-prophecy attributes like the card. This entire ritual was a creative use of the book of secrets, sun broach, and the blasphemy card.

3. Steve lowered his guard and got curious by the strange item that attracted his spirits and shadows, so he grabbed it.
4. At that moment, he was holding both the Lunar Corona that replicated the full moon and the master key, and thus, he was directly able to hear the ravings of Mr. Door.
5. This damaged his psych and spirit and nearly drove him to losing control. He then dropped both items.
6. Klein used another flame jump to get near the artifact and then threw it to Sharron to gain her powers
7. Sharron used her artifact on Steve, and Klein started emptying the mag on his d*mb*ss.

2. He changed strategies when he found out Steve is trying to possess Sharron in her moment of helplessness. So he directed a holy light on her to stop Steve from Possessing her.
3. He shot at Jason that was already on the verge of entering the doors to bait Steve and succeeded at not only dealing him damage but also stunning him for a moment.
4. He took advantage of that moment and blew a preplanted dynamite near them to both damage Steve and further push Jason with the force of explosion.
5. Jason lost his footings and was eaten by those things behind the door. May his soul rot in hell for slandering our lovely miss bodyguard.

"He hid in the paper figurine's shadow" Klein isn't able to actually enter shadows and hide in them. That's his illusion ability. When he creates a dummy of himself using the paper substitutes, he uses the illusion ability to hide himself by manipulating the lighting and shadows. He's still there, but it's almost like "he's hidden in shadows".
