Well, in my humble and most sincere opinion, and of course, without meaning to offend or disregard anyone who might have a completely different perspective, I just wanted to take a step back and carefully examine this from multiple angles. My goal isn’t to argue or claim that my view is the only right one, but rather to share my thoughts in a way that makes sense while also respecting the different interpretations others may have. I truly believe that before forming an opinion, it’s important to consider all perspectives, weigh different arguments, and approach things with an open mind. After all, meaningful discussions happen when people listen, reflect, and exchange ideas without hostility. That’s why I wanted to take my time, organize my thoughts, and express myself as clearly as possible to avoid confusion or misinterpretation. But after putting so much effort into carefully choosing my words and covering all angles… I’ve completely forgotten what I was going to say. 😔
In a word, peak novel.the writing style of the novel is extremely good.it's always fun to read kumo's inner thoughts.and the dynamics between the characters are very good.anyway, in short peak.
Reverend Insanity is a weird one. The main character, Fang Yuan, is basically a soulless calculator. No emotion, no guilt, nothing remotely human. He just wants power and will throw anyone under the bus to get it. At first it feels “different,” but after a while, the one-note personality just gets exhausting.
Yeah, the world-building is solid, I’ll give it that. But the pacing drags, buried in endless strategy talk that kills any real momentum. And Fang Yuan never changes. Like, ever. No growth, no conflict, just cold logic from start to finish. People call it 'realistic,'but honestly, it just feels hollow.
You finish a chapter and go, “What am I even doing?” And if you’re still hyping this thing up, you’re either way too into edgy characters, or just pretending to like it because the internet says it’s cool. No other way around it. ┐(´ー`)┌
Well... I would like to review Lotm, but there is nothing to criticize. Everything in the novel is peak. So I will not write a long review in vain. 10/10.
It's a good novel. To be frank, it's a bit disappointing that there's no harem. That being said, the plot is interesting enough and the characters are well-written, so it's still decent enough to keep reading.
"See no evil, hear no evil, think no evil."
Peak novel. If you're a fan of SCP, mystery, or Lovecraftian-style stories like I am, this is definitely a novel you need to read.
Peak novel. It has one of the best written harems I have ever seen in terms of harem.also r-18 is not predominant in the chapters.it is more story-oriented.
Another point is that the tragedy of the novel is very well written. I couldn't stop crying while reading it.😭
Just as expected from cf; PEAK
The novel is a perfect blend of science and magic, one of the best magic-themed stories I’ve ever read.
And yes, there’s even romance in it. (I know, it sounds a bit surprising, but cf actually wrote romance.🔥)
Peak novel. Character development is one of the best I’ve seen in a novel.
Most people drop it within the first 300 chapters because of the changes in Nick’s character, but I think real character development should be exactly like in this novel.
Also, the power system, plot, character dynamics, all of them are peak.
Definitely a book that must be read.🔥🔥🔥
Peak Novel. It's easily in my top three favorite light novels.
Most people are very prejudiced against it because of the early chapters, but as the story progresses, Rudeus undergoes a huge transformation.
Watching his character development unfold is something truly unique.
On top of that, world-building, plot, and romance are all top-tier.
So if anyone is considering reading it — just go for it. 10/10 🔥
