Considering how easily he killed Rexerd, anyone would think he has killed before. (Well, he has. He killed the High Priest. But even including that, he has only killed 2 people. Which isn't less, but still.)

She's surprised he's never disposed of a body?????
Extra's Death: I'm the Son of Hades is good. The mc is great. But side characters don't have as much personality. It's still one of the best new gen.
Advent of Three Calamities is an obvious choice, masterfully written by the same of The Author's PoV.
Path of the Extra is also a good one, though it has a shaky start.

Anyone got any recs like this i NEED to read something with a protagonist like this. Honestly anything is good but I would prefer if it was not murim and for the Mc to have an actual personality like this one
Because apocalypse came, civilization was destroyed, and cultures ended? The world is reshaped now, people will obviously pick up new identity once their history is in shambles.
It's to show that the old world is no more. And now, it is in fact a fantasy world, like I said.

It's fantasy genre but not a fantasy world. The setting is based on the real world but 500 years later. I don't see why anyone would throw their family names away and take on edgy names just because multiverse opened up.
Dunno about the art of seduction, but if you go read [Chapter 143 Open Challenge IV], you can clearly see author referencing 48 Laws of Power.

I normally don't like side stories because they don't advance the main plot but this was so entertaining to read! And so real. Author has definitely read the 48 laws of power / the art of seduction
I can't overstate enough how much I like this protagonist. He's shameless, unapologetic, and one of the biggest a-holes I'd ever seen.
That said, I like him soooo freaking much!
He's not a good guy in a traditional sense, but he's also not a brooding villian. He's entertaining to read, and he also has layers to his personality.
It's mentioned a few times that he has Adhd, and it shows. He's quick to lose focus, always doing things that entertain him, and narcissistic to a level that he doesn't remember "NPCs" at all!
But at the same time, he's sort of compassionate, hides a lot of guilt, and though he may seem lazy, he's desperately working toward a good ending.
It's been a long time since I read a character as fleshed out as this.
Also, I'm LIVING for the fact that people in this comment section aren't forgiving Lily π€£π€£
But seriously, read this novel. It is, in my opinion, one of the best new gen wn, not only in the "extra" genre, but also overall.
Imo, Rexerd was too powerful. Remember, he was poisoned, heavily wounded, and practically ambushed in a 2v1. But he still *almost* managed to take down Juliana and Samael alone.
He was a wildcard, god knew how many tricks up his sleeve he had. Also, iirc, injecting BloodWorm in someone is a process done by alchemists and enchanters, Samael is neither. But even if he was, killing Rexerd was the safest option instead of torturing him and giving him a chance to pull something.

Okay this is weird . Couldn't he just use bloodworm to torture Rexerd and get all the info out? Why did he have to kill him then and there.
Help!! ππ "Motherless" is actually so true since both Sam and Juli are... Motherless! πππ
Bro why tf did he ask the most manipulative unloved motherless people he knew for any type of relationship advice

For those who missed it, this was a callback to Samael and Juliana's conversation in chapter 154

It's a fantasy
Why edgy names
His maid is hinted to be the fl, but she's way too crazy rn (could be a yandere. I love her anyway. I'm cooked).
Could also be the orange-haired girl, the blind martial artist.
Could also be the cadet council president.
Those are the three candidates until now. Alexia (the blind one) and Juli (his Shadow) are in the lead rn.
who the fl, is it white haired girl
