This is stupid . I was lacking things to read so read it before this site even became popular lol. But it got me to chapter 880 so this s*it isn't exactly unreadable if you can push through 100 chapters . The premise is really dumb . The system is weird but story gets a little interesting after the first arc . If you've got time you might give it a go .

Review after Chapter 167.2 or 317 :

Surprisingly a good read . It's funny with great characters and developments , Nice world building . I caught up in one shot - which isn't the case in most novels , even the good ones. So, the immersion is great . The only flaw I'd say is this isn't really much of an horror . The element fear isn't actually present - rather it's a little gore at best I'd say. But this is really enjoyable and deserves higher rank . Many higher ranked novels aren't really good . I'd put this in rank 15-25 .

First - Ignore the gender bender / Female protag tag . It's utterly irrelevant . The mc has no gender and is an object . I delayed it for a long time because of that tag . Now for the review :

One of the very few novels I'd rate 5 stars or more accurately 9.5/10 . This has very unique elements in it . A very good blend of mystery , action and Fun . The characters are likable , antagonists aren't one directional . I'm deliberately not reading more of it simply because I don't want to be caught up which I frequently do in most novels . It's the kind of novel where you can read one arc and be satisfied cause every arc is a story itself . No cliffhanger but still the plot stays connected .

9.5/10 .

Review after over 1000 chapters :

The novel is filled with edgelord stuffs . The writing is bad . Like really bad . The word "palpable" is used so much that it really gets to you . In the beginning I actually used to swear out loud reading this lol . But past these issues and ignoring the obvious cliché the plot actually kept me hooked . Specially the tournament arc was really good imo . The romance is horrible though . The FL is a stupid melodramatic girl ironically was introduced as a man hater . I hate the cases where a man hating bossy girl who literally hates and mistrusts everyone falls for the cool and hot mc . The author is probably a teenager .

8/10 plot and 5/10 writing .

Review after chapter 117 or 1st arc :

I liked this novel . I have general dislike for some of the things (18+ stuffs) but objectively the novel is very good . The unique element is mc isn't a transmigrator rather a native villain who got to know the plot from transmigrator's memories . He doesn't shy away from killing or even genocide as long as it has a purpose so he isn't a psycho killer either . But man , I really hate the first heroine - you'll learn at the end of the arc , the girl really has a trash personality and birdbrain :3

Anyway it's a good novel if you can stomach slight erotic scenes and villain stuff .

This deserves to have better rank . It should be at 50-60 rank . The premise is unique but story isn't that much different from many other novels . The side characters are rather one dimensional . I don't know if it'll end as an harem but its should . The girls (for now 2 ) are both very likable . Specially the maid (W Best girl) .  The novel's name is a bit misleading though . He isn't really a brute - uses his intelligence and muscle both . Doesn't pick fights unnecessarily . Overall great novel .

Very enjoyable read . It makes no sense - I mean his power makes it so he is a god tier actor and whoever sees him just has to recruit him that's it . Nothing else but still it's weirdly enjoyable . I've read another novel of this genre "From thug to Idol " but comparatively this is much better . Give it a try for 60-70 chapters and if you don't like it you never will , if you do you'll be hooked .

Review after chapter 147:

A good blend of horror and mystery . Good horror novels are rare . MHoH is probably the best as a sole horror genre . For comedic undertone and gore "Got dropped into a horror story" is really good and this one seems to be the blend of two .

The start is a bit shaky - nothing unique . But the concept gets better in the ongoing arc . The thing that impressed me most is there is no excessive use of scenerios to exaggerate fear - the concepts or mosters are the elements of fear itself . I'd say there's a severe lack of game developing and related rhings considering the title itself but I think it'll be more prominent in future .

9/10 .
