Absolute cinema.

Interesting monsters/anomalies, a lot of interconnected mysteries, fun characters, creative fights, etc.

A pretty well rounded novel.

5/5, very fun read. The world has similar vibes to the SCP world and it is one of the few I've read that are done well. It has good action scenes in it as well as a lot of slice of life.

A lot of the story is that the mc wants to be leisurely but things around them keep going awry resulting in the mc having to get involved or investigate something and each time I eat it up, it's never gotten boring or repetitive. Some of the Objects in the world are also really unique and fun to read about (pudding).

Overall a very cutesy novel and a pretty engaging story.

Also reminds me heavily of "So I'm a spider, so what?" with side stories and the mc but the side stories aren't boring. The worldbuilding is  actually good and there is a mystery throughout the story about the past. Was never once bored, would recommend. Read the first 20 chapters to see if you'd enjoy.

Do you like SCP (or Project Moon games)? Do you like cute entity MC being cute and everybody loving MC because they are cute (and they totally don't [SPOILER]). Do you like reading how some people are desperately running away from some horrible monsters the very next paragraph? Of course only so cute MC can cutely save the day of course. I swear this is a wholesome novel, cases of [violent imagery expunged] happen only very rarely. Experience a Korea ruled by Objects, with Seoul being one of the last human cities, see the follies and delusions of humanity, witness our cute and powerful MC take on dreadful entities to save those they care about (or for fun), unravel the mystery behind a doomed world and the origin of the objects, take bets on how many civilian casulties our next adventure will reap, and of course try not to overdose on sweetness while reading about the cute interctions between the humans and MC Grey Reaper and [SPOILER]. I'm off now, I've heard Grey Reaper likes pudding, so I've invested all my life savings into pudding to give it to them.

Additional notes found in a deserted house: Korean is notoriously difficult to translate, so some sentences feel a bit off or sometimes gender switches around. It's best to see for your yourself. For best reading experience, I'd recommend taking your time instead of binging several chapters at once.

I wasn't going to write a review for this but the very passionate but small community wanting the rank to go up I will.

First of all, I'd suggest you read the first 20 chapters of the novel. If you don't like the first 20 chapters this novel might now be for you.

The lore is released slowly as the mc most of the time doesn't actively do things.

Unique novel. You could say it's a slice of life but there are so many fights it's more like the MC is trying to have a slice of life life but the world just says no. This novel has a non-human mc btw

A masterpiece. I love the way the story transitions from one incident to another and how it all boils down at the end. It's a work of art and I can't stop reading.

Fun novel. I liked it and so should you! Many interesting side characters, op mc who sometimes faces challenges, and interesting lore. All the cool stuff! 5/5

This novel is quite strange in how the main character and the little crew of researchers they live with are super chill and not serious, while everyone else is struggling to survive. Given the researchers likely act that way due to the mental contamination of the Grey Reaper (mc).

Anyway, 5/5; some of the fight scenes are epic, and some are less intense, requiring a little thought to find the kill condition.

Seoul Object Story is like a whimsical SCP entry crossed with an anime about eldritch beings and snack-loving mascots. It’s strange, oddly sweet, and emotionally resonant at times—but you’ll enjoy it most if you vibe with the MC and aren’t expecting fast-paced action or a masterclass in storytelling.
