The stoy is set in a alterntive (at least for now) version of earth where paranormal entities are widespread similar to the SCP world. The MC is a selfless but cunning worker under a capitalistic corporation called Daydream Inc. It is a well-made, interesting and enjoyable story. The worldbuilding and characters are developed and there are many plot twist along the way. One thing tho, there is a very formulaic structure of " one ghost story, another ghost story...." so it can be a bit repetitive specially if you binge it.

5 stars across the board. I really enjoy these types of novels where the MC is actually smart.

no clichés, just a unique action-horror fusion done in good taste. Ring me up if you want spoilers. I guess you can't since this is a review, not a comment...

This is a very solid novel with well-written characters and a good story.

The premise is interesting, with a blend of ORV, my House of Horrors, and SCP foundation. The horror aspect is certainly inspired and is very similar to SCP foundation, with various types of horror including ghostly horrors, folk/urban legend horror, and lovecraftian-cosmic horror.

The story is well written with quite a fast pace right from the get go, yet doesn't feel exhausting. Translation is very well done, keeping in mind the fact that there are korean references, jokes, and puns sporadically throughout the story.

Character-wise, it is very fresh and interesting, both main characters and side characters. Especially the main character, as most reviews suggest, is very believable, relatable, and unique. Comedy is well-woven into the story and doesn't feel out of place, much like my House of Horrors.

Naturally due to the horror, there are depictions of gore, self-harm, violence, etc. It perfectly compliments the story and isn't gore for gore's sake, though some depictions can be vivid. If LOTM or my House of Horrors were too much for you then I would recommend reading with caution. The author also puts up trigger warning before the chapters so it is very comfortable.

There are hints of psychological conflicts, dilemmas, and deeper psyche the MC has, but I feel it hasn't been explored thoroughly (more evidenced in later chapters). Though I'm sure that it will come as the MC's character is developed even more (not to say that there are no developments at all, there certainly are, and a good amount as well).

The mystery aspect is slowly unravelling and certainly keeps you hooked however, it is not as pronounced as novels like LOTM or Deep Sea Embers, rightly so as this is mainly a horror action novel.

Overall, I highly recommend this novel, it is indeed a worthwhile read.

reminds me of entrails new book, horror game dev. Unlike that one though, the mc is isn't a traumatizing 'coward, but a selfless coward. This novel is great, fun read, lots of unique concepts are portrayed great.

A selfless coward, Unique I'd say. Good writing, no cardboard cutouts. The MC is realistic and isn't your average protagonist going around saying "I must be #1!" Tbh this novel should be in the top 40 ranks.

It's fantastic it's certainly different from the first book author wrote (debut or die) but it's very interesting as the horror is well written and the MC is relatable at times. So far I've been caught up and started stacking. I would recommend this to anyone. The way the MC solves things is very interesting as he's trying to act like he's not scared af while escaping scenarios at the same time at great speeds. As the story continues it really makes you think of the world and how it works.

Overall: world building is fantastic, side characters unless they died do appear again, and MC is relatable to a degree. Would reccomend

It's quite good. the writing is solid, the characters have something to them and they're not just a piece of cardboard, MC is not annoying, even if he is a scaredy cat (he's me frfr), the vibe is good, although it does become less scary as we go, but it doesn't feel wrong for that to happen here. Overall it's a very promising. for me, its a A-tier novel.

I love selfless MCs and even more with a twist, he's a big coward in the inside yet it's proven from a life and death situation, and to another that his character is such a gem! The developement of the story really keeps you at your toes since every situation he's in seems so impossible! But of course, he's the MC and somehow survives with the little tools he has which makes sense. Definitely a go to read for a refreshing Isekai, and not a typical MC trope, the plot just thickens with complicated power play between two powerhouses. But of course! Take your take, but for me I definitely love the story, especially its MC!

This is such a refreshing take on isekai unlike some certain isekai where the MC is like 'i will become the strongest!'- ahh nonsense. The story in itself is unique and actually doesn't seem illogical. The protagonist is a coward and honestly i LOVE it. Definitely one of my top reads. I'm around 100 chapter and that's all i can say, so far it's actually enjoyable.
