This was 5 stars on webnovelworld, with 352 reviews, the only 5 star story on the site, so give it a read if you want smh with peak writing

This is rlly good, starting is similar to the reincarnated assassin is a genius swordsman, but the fight scenes in this are much better written. I am only 170 chs in, but apparently there is a romance in this which is a huge plus

This seems rlly good 22 chs in, the humour is alright, especially compared to most chinese written fantasy novels, and the wife doesn't seem like a background character (she has been mentioned at last 22 chs in, and seems like she will be pretty important)

220 chapters in, the world setting is soo good, the plot is also amazing, everything abt this novel is so good, apart from the mc himself, or at least for the first 120 chapters, where he is having an identity crisis every 5 or so chapters. After ch 120 or so it stabilises and the novel is soo good, and some people would call that character development, but character development shouldn't be a s*it character slowly becoming a tolerable character, but a good character becoming great. I mean nick at the start doesn't even know what he wants to be, and changes his mind every other chapter. If you can tough out the first 120 chapters, then this novel is an 11/10, if not then its probably a 7 to 8

This novel is rlly good, there's a period of about 30 chapters between 120 to 150 ish where it drags on, a lot, but the next tournament arc more than makes up for the boring arc, and the ending of the first volume is soo good, so all in all, till you read the first volume don't drop, I promise as long as you read the first volue you won't regret it 

This novel is simply peak, if you get past the starting 50 or so chapters, when the mc acc starts to have strength to back up his arrogance is where the novel gets soo good
