I mean it's basically the same now? It's basically azriel fused with the mc. But yea ig it would've been cooler to see the original azriel surviving in the void.

This is why I hate possessions, always faking everything and lying as if that would in any way be a good character growth. Everyone missing their friend, son or brother and him basically a friendly version of a skinwalker. What would be awesome would be that he really was in the void realm for 2 years and hallucinate living in an alternative life for 17 years before exiting.
Actually there IS a prince carry, it's literally the same as a princess carry but instead of a guy carrying a girl, it's a girl carrying a guy. πΉβπΎ
I can't lie bro πππΎ you yap too much for me to compete w you in yapping.

But the nobody's are more of a conceptual being. Like outer gods from orv. They don't have defining characteristics, so you can't interact or acknowledge them in any way, similar to the Others in Bastion. Sunny might be forgotten, but he's a long way away from a nobody.
I remember reading a Chinese horror/supernatural WebNovel, where the only the mc can see the spectral plane, and he's forced to never look at or acknowledge the ghosts lest they cross over to the material plane and kill him. It was very interesting, but I dropped it because the mc was too... radical? Batshit crazy? He made sunny look sane, plain and ordinaryπππ
πππΎ nah but that is so fucking goated cause imagine he suddenly says I'm nobody and suddenly summons his army of nobodies.
Then they use nothing to beat their enemies.

It takes a minute to wrap your head around it, but it really is creative. Saying, "Your enemies can be stopped by nothing" isn't exaggeration, but literal fact. So the gods took that wordplay, and created a concept, that has the properties of nothingness, and wrapped the void in it. As long as the void creatures cannot be beaten by something, they can't cross. Kinda reminds of Nen, or other conditional power systems. But then, aside from that condition requiring void creatures to be stopped by nothing, the other "flaw" is that it gives rise to nobodies... who really remind me of outer gods from ORV. Like sunny said, he's been cut out from fate, which means he's now a character half a step out of the story... a nobody. Wonder if he can get chummy with the other nobodiesπ€£ππ
It's actually a pretty goated way to reveal what sunny was doing during the timeskip, Cassie gets to see the memories so it's also relevant to the plot. G3 my goat πΉβπΎ

So cute of him to want more of her vulnerable side, can't wait for her reaction though to him being the lord of shadows
