The fact he hasn't talked or said anything ever since rain and tamar landed off shore
It's really my main part here and the more you're in a dangerous situation, the more you realize "Oh, there's no one to help me here" 😱
There's multiple studies I've read on that but essentially the gist of it is
When one realizes they're not gonna be saved they either despair or take on that responsibility themselves, so fight or flight mode basically. 💔💔🥀
And the line "he wouldn't let his pupil die" is borderline just rain HOPING he wouldn't let her die.
It's not confirmed that he's even there at all so that part of the argument doesn't make sense to me. Like yea sure sunny wouldn't let rain die, she knows that but she doesn't know if he's even there so how he's gonna save her?

She might not know his exact rank, but she quite literally witnessed him take on 3 vessels of the Skinwalker, isn't that enough proof of his strength?
It was never mentioned what he did during the early years of their training so don't debate based on assumptions

i feel like this is js a teeny bit unrealistic. Even if he has barely helped her over the 4 years having a literal saint behind your back and willingly protecting you shouldn't have led to this mindset 😭
