Took me 4-5 days to read from beginning to latest (428 as of writing). All in all, for most people, this would be an 8/10. I personally grade things differently. As long as there is nothing wrong with the novel (such as weird plot, characters or events) and the writing is not bad either, I am always generous. For me, this was a 9-10/10. It does everything it sets out to do well, the writing is good, the characters are good, character development is there too, but don't get me wrong. There is nothing inherently 'amazing' regarding plot, characters or writing. Everything it does is above good, but not at masterpiece level. Still, it's not either something you read cause you have nothing else. For me, as long I crave to read more and am enjoying reading, it's a big plus. That is why I say it is a 7-8 for harsher critiques, but a 9-10/10 for me. I am going to personally continue following the novel cause I liked what I read during these 428 chapters. I'll write a review covering the novel.
You'd see actual big character development after 600-700 chapters..
It is a bit subtle in start. Like him not wanting to kill others(There are reasons related to his backstory). But slowly he realises that it is necessary to kill a few to not have the threat of them trying to kill you. It is real slow but I personally liked it tha way..
The naive character was a really fresh experience for me. And cuz he had some capable companions with him during his journey, teaching him the way the world works and how he should eliminate threats, It made me pretty Interested.
[Well if you really wanna see the result of his character development You can try reading my comment a bit down below. (The one marked as spoiler) It has a scene from around ch 1000.]

I want to know when the character development will start, seeing the description of the mc being naive in the synopsis makes me hesitate to read it.
1. Blood warlock. (Peak apocalypse with game system and cultivation. 10/10)
2. There is no world for ■■ (short read, 150 translated chapters, very good plot and MC has kinda broken abilities
3. Villain: The Play of Destiny (def recommend, go in blind. Similar to 'I am the fated villain' but uses modern setting)
4. Witch hunter system (good)
5. Necromancer Academy’s Genius Summoner (eh, if you read the rest, read this since it's also good, but slower since it is quite long, I read 200 chapters years ago, enjoyed those and let it marinate, read the manhwa, was good too)
6. Armipotent (TL will lose you braincells, 50-50 in recommending, worse vers of blood warlock)
Left them in order from my top rec. to least. All are good though.
It is a given.. Any person who has read as much novels as me is just fed up with all the clichés. My conciousness won't let me write a novel with stupid clichés
Anyways recommend me some random novel with op mc to read.

Give me an mc who actually does not go around face slapping every b*tch a*s young master, pick every jade beauty and does not have the mindset of an NPC. Naturally, theme-wise, you shall write a xianxia 🗿🗿🗿
The childhood friends in this novel ARE prevalent, and the are getting more screen time. The first 100-200 chapters are just more focused on Ming'ers character development. Where I am, he has met them, had plenty of interactions with them but the author is biding his time instead of them pouncing on each other at every possible moment. The novel has plenty of clichés, which I personally don't mind, but maybe you do. No real 1-1 copying, but for example having a seductress potential love interest, a cold tempered one, and your typical social butterfly with a radiant personality.
I am at 302 and have been enjoying for a while. Personally I would say give it a go, just remember the MC is a bit weak early on, but where I am, he is clapping others left and right. 🫡
Well the novel ended shortly after that arc with many unanswered questions... Like the person who game him his powers and the world outside the universe and stuff.

Yes it is, that arc made me dropped it, don't know if it latter got back on track..
250 chapters and no childhood sweetheart when the novel is named as such... :/
I feel like I should try writing my novel now.
Can you recommend me some theme for it?

As of 250 chapters, there are no such things. The romance is progressing steadiliy. He has met the childhood friends but nothing has happened. There are some tensions, but no triangles as of yet, since our MC has not shown to have any feelings for a girl rn.
Oh and how is the childhood love thingy.. Stupid love tensions and triangles are the things I hate the most.

Yah 😎
He is weak early, for quite some time, around 60 chapters, but where I am, he is very strong. He can fight, ahem... clap cheeks of, people at least 3 realms above him, while also dual cultivating martial arts and qi arts. Worth a read imo. He is certainly among the realm of monsters, above geniuses. It is just the author who formulated it wrongly in the beginning, making the MC seem weaker than the others due to his insufficient cultivation. He is catching up on cultivation but in regards to fighting power, he is stronk 💪
His character is also getting more and more interesting to read, at least personally. He has become more ruthless and is not an universal hero who helps everyone just because he can. He does help though people who he meets, and tosses it up to fate.
There are your standard clichés such as annoying young masters, but they are not very prevalent where I'm at (181). They come and go, i've seen only 2 up to now.
Premise sounds interesting. Martial arts, fantasy, harem, xianxia. Hmm... it has eveything I typically enjoy. I believe I've heard good things about this once, I'll give it a go later and come to you.
Just completed the 2nd read!! A bit of romance between Silver and mc would be appreciated but amazing ending anyways..

Final verdict: Definetely worth in my opinion.
Is the mc op? I can't stand weak mcs

Is the mc stupidity op in that?
if you like the premise of this then you need to read 'My Immortal Cultivation Game Life'. i have read it and its has the same type of premise.
