Chapter 336: Bring her father back
Once the twins arrived at the hall, everybody were already present. The twins were dressed in the same attire. Hara’s ponytail dangled behind her as she walked into the hall.
From the look on their uncle Merek’s face, they knew they were late. Raha quickly bowed politely, "We are sorry uncle Merek, for arriving late." He apologized then then glanced at his sister who didn’t bow her head, but was busy glaring at Daphne, who also seemed annoyed with her.
Raha gently nudged his sister, that was when she quickly bowed her head as well in apology, "Sorry uncle Merek."
Daphne scoffed, "I’m sure she didn’t mean the apology, uncle Merek."
Daphne was only six years old, a year younger than the twins, but she never seemed to get along with Hara, as she believed the princess was crazy for always talking about her dead father as if he was still alive. And Daphne had heard from her mother that the king was dead, and dead people don’t come back to life. But whenever she tried to explain it to her cousin, she would end up being threatened or fighting with Hara.
However, one thing Hara disliked was when someone tried to tell her that her father was dead and would never come back.
"Don’t butt into something that’s not your concern, Daphne." Hara warned calmly.
"Of course it’s my concern, freak." Daphne remarked. And they both glared at each other with anger blazing through their eyes.
Daphne’s eyes were the darkest blue just like her father, and her hair were ebony black like her mother. But her attitude was unlike any of her parents.
"All right, girls that’s enough. Get in line and quit your little fight." Merek stood between the two girls as he took Hara’s hand and pulled her to the far away line from Daphne to avoid another fight.
Eventually, the training started. However, halfway through their training, Merek’s two year old son, Maurin, trotted towards him on his little legs while holding his pants, moving from one feet to another, "Papa, I want to pee pee."
Maurin was the youngest among the other children. He wasn’t supposed to join the rest, but Anne was pregnant with their second child and it was left for Merek to take care of the little boy, hence he brought him to the hall to allow his wife get some rest.
Merek sighed deeply, "Maurin this is the third time, what have you been drinking. Anyway, let’s go." He picked the boy up with one hand and dropped him over his shoulder, making the boy giggle happily. But before Merek stepped out with his son, he turned to the two girls,
"Behave yourselves, don’t fight with each other, I’ll be back in a minute, alright?"
The girls nodded at the same time, "Yes, uncle Merek."
However, immediately Merek left the hall, the oldest boy in the hall, Marvin, the son of one of the guests in the palace, who was also Daphne’s friend turned towards Hara,
"My father got me this coat yesterday, what about you, did yours buy one for you In your dreams?" Marvin taunted, and Daphne nudged him to stop, but he continued, "What? Is it because she’s your cousin. Pah, she’s a freak."
Hara clenched her fist tightly, but before she spoke, Raha said to the boy, "You should mind your business, Marvin, Hara isn’t talking back now, you shouldn’t push her."
Marvin scoffed, "I wasn’t speaking to you, Raha, you should also mind your business."
"She’s my sister, if you speak to her, you’re speaking to me." Raha said calmly.
Daphne who was a master of getting under Hara’s skin, also didn’t support Marvin to speak to her cousins in that way. She then said to him, "Marvin, that’s enough."
But Marvin didn’t heed to Daphne’s words and resumed to taunt the twins, "You two are fatherless, nobody will stand for you on the day of the father’s trials."
Seeing that Hara was about to lose it, Raha quickly took her hand and decided to leave the hall instead before she ended up fighting with the big bully. He began to lead his sister out of the hall, Daphne also decided to leave with them. But Marvin called from behind,
"Your father is dead, nobody will stand for you on the day, freak!"
And that was all it took for Hara to loss her cool. She snapped her hand out of Raha’s hold and turned around, her red eyes blazed like flames, "What did you just say?"
"I said you’re a freak, who always talks about your dead father as if he’s still alive."
More anger built inside of Hara, threatening to explode. All this time she had been bullied by this boy, all this time he had also turned her cousin Daphne against her and called her names. And now he dared to call her father dead?
Before anyone could react, Hara had teleported to Marvin’s front in a blink of an eye, she grabbed his neck and pushed him against the hard wall, "How dare you?" She yelled.
Marvin groaned in pain as he struggled to slip out of her hold, but her hold was too tight around his neck. "I will teach you a lesson, Marvin."
One of the children in the hall ran out to go and get the adults. Meanwhile, Daphne said to Raha, "You should stop her before she hurts him."
Raha also wanted Marvin to suffer a bit, but then he was aware of his sister’s anger, so he quickly ran to her and tried to remove her hands from around the boy’s neck, "Hara let go of him."
"No, I won’t, until he apologizes to father for disrespecting him."
"Y...you don’t have a... father." Marvin still tried to speak despite being strangled.
Hara tightened her hold around his neck, "Then I will kill you, after that you won’t be able to bully anyone again."
"Hara let go of him right now." Raha tried to pull her hand, but he was also no match for his twin sister.
"Hara!" Suddenly Ara’s voice cut through the air, only then did she loosen her hold, but didn’t let go until Henry and Merek quickly pulled her away from the boy.
Henry helped Marvin up from the ground and adjusted his clothes, "Are you all right?"
Marvin shook his head with tears falling down his eyes. "No..."
"What do you think you’re doing trying to strangle him?" Ara asked displeased, while Merek still held Hara as if she would escape and attack the boy again. And she would if he didn’t hold her tightly.
"He’s a bully who deserves to be punished." Hara exclaimed.
"What happened?" Eadlin asked her daughter who was already crying after witnessing the fight.
"Mother, it’s was Marvin who bullied Hara first..."
"That’s a lie, she attacked me first." Marvin exclaimed as all eyes turned on him.
"You dare lie to my face, I will teach you a lesson!" Hara exclaimed as she tried to struggle out of Merek’s hold.
"Hara, that’s enough. Just because he bullied you, it doesn’t gives you the right to strangle him to death!" Ara snapped at her daughter who was struggling to go and fight again.
"Didn’t I warn you not to fight? Why don’t you ever listen to me for once, Hara?"
"Mother, he called my father dead. He has no right to say that, why am I being blamed again. He_"
"I said enough! Now go back to your room. You’re grounded."
Hara looked at her mother with anger blazing through her red eyes. "You are grounding me because of a bully? If father was here he would have supported me. But don’t worry, I will bring my father back to the palace and prove to everybody that he’s still alive, maybe then you’d be proud of me too mother just like Raha."
Before anybody could react, Hara had teleported from the training hall.
