However, everyone knew the judges were trying to favor Kane over Henry because he had relation with the royals, but going against the judges could make one be eliminated from the tournament. Nevertheless, the short soldier wasn’t done as he dramatically slammed the judges table with his skinny fist,

"The hell with rules! Lord Henry had done everything to help his team members, how could you shamelessly give him such a score? You bloody_"

The judge stood up on his feet with a deep frown, "And who the hell are you to tell the judges what to do? If you don’t take your skinny self and step back, I will eliminate you from the competition and deduct the points from your leader!"

"Yes, they did most of the work. If you two pass for the finals, we shall go out and celebrate after the tournament. I promise to buy you all a drink." Said one of the veteran soldiers in his team.

Even Henry, who was usually so stoic couldn’t help but brighten at all their words, he smiled, "Thank you all, we all did it together." He then turned to the angry short soldier beside him, "And you too, you did well back then. You will surely be a great soldier."

Henry couldn’t see the soldier’s face, but the helmet didn’t cover his eyes, and he could tell by how his brown eyes glimmered, that he was smiling under the helmet. He really couldn’t believe how such a small man got so much anger in him, how did he even make it this far with his extremely frail looking and thin physique?

Henry also smiled back at the soldier. Unknown to him, the person beneath the armor and helmet, was indeed a female. Who had only joined the contestants after knocking down one of the teenagers in his team and joining afterwards. And right beneath the helmet, she was beaming happily because of his praise.

The person was none other than; Princess Eadlin. Who’d been taught from childhood to use a crossbow by her half-brother, Hamon. A fact unknown to both her mother and brother who would never tolerate her spending any time with Hamon at all.

Not long, All the groups were matched and this level’s trail was done with. The host called out the names of contestants who made it to the finals, and thankfully Henry was part of them, together with the short soldier, who had been sticking around him like glue.

Eadlin looked surprised when she heard the name of the boy she’d knocked out and stole his identity was called as one of the contestants who made it to the finals. Well, she wasn’t here to win, but to stop her mother’s plan from befalling on Henry. She’d compensate the boy afterwards, her greatest priority was to make sure Henry won the tournament unharmed.

At the royal deck, Hera approached Merona who had been waiting for the maid to return with Eadlin. Merona looked down at the match with an irritated expression as Henry and his team seemed to be rejoicing over his victory to the finals.

"Your majesty?"

At Hera’s voice, Merona glanced sideways with a raised eyebrow, Hera leaned deeply towards her ear to whisper, "The arrangement has been made as you’d instructed...But about princess Eadlin, she’s no where to be found around the stadium."

"I will deal with Eadlin later, as long as our plan works out." A wicked gleam lit up in her eyes. Her gaze then moved towards Henry, who was at the moment walking towards the changing room with one of his team members to prepare for the final rounds.

"As long as he wears his armour...He would be done with, your majesty."

With her gaze still on Henry, Merona nodded satisfyingly, "Good." She couldn’t give him her gift in the arena, where everyone was watching. She couldn’t just let her plan fail, thus she had prepared something that wouldn’t be easily traced to her. It might not kill him, but it would surely harm him in a way he would drop out of the competition, and might never be able to move his limbs ever again.

It didn’t matter to her whether he forfeited the finals because he couldn’t walk, or he was too stubborn and pushed himself to join and was killed in process. Whatever the result, she’d definitely get the outcome she wanted as long as he wore his armour.

What a pity, a handsome young man such as Henry Boxton would be a waste, tsk. Well, he was too unlucky to be one of the Boxton’s. She mused as she watched the empty space where Henry stood earlier with his team. She then murmured,"...I can not wait to see the outcome. I never really liked the young man anyway." She said, then turned back to Hera, "Tell the guards to search around for Eadlin and if they find her...take her straight back to the palace and lock her up in her room until I return."
