Who Designed This Underworld Dungeon? -
Chapter 115 - 112: Gong Qiying’s Ambition
Chapter 115: Chapter 112: Gong Qiying’s Ambition
This is an experience of an unnamed individual.
We don’t know his past, only that he needs to extinguish three beacons as a test to join the Fran Undead Team.
Dal is stuck in this body, unable to move; he can only watch from a first-person perspective, unable to make any impact.
It’s unknown from which era the owner of this image is, but during that time, Fran Fort was not yet rampant with poisonous water and widespread corruption; the forests were normal, lush under the trees were charmingly naive Mushroom Men daydreaming, healthy creatures roamed the woods, and clear rivers were lined with blooming Green Flower Grass.
Dal remembers discovering many dead bodies of Mushroom Men during his exploration, so what caused Fran Fort to turn into its current state?
The Abyss?
Although the owner of the image had grand ideals, the harsh reality was that his strength was weak, and he kept dying from various accidents during the process of extinguishing the beacons. If it weren’t for the fact that he was an Undead Man, joining the Fran Undead Team would have remained a delusion.
Undead Man, to this day adventurers still do not understand the principle of their immortality, the bonfire image shows it is because of the influence of the Dark Ring... but why are there no Undead Men now?
Dal was forced to watch from a first-person view as the owner of the image died and came back repeatedly, feeling an immense torment in his heart.
Sometimes he really wanted to personally take control and help him!
From torment to torture to numbness, now the only thought in his mind is: how could such a weakling possibly join the Fran Undead Team?
After an unknown length of time, when Dal’s spiritual power was nearly at a dangerous level, the owner of the image finally extinguished the three beacons.
The gate of the fort slowly opened, seeming to symbolize his final success.
But he had one last thing to do.
Dal watched "himself" approach a slumbering giant wolf guarding a tombstone, a skinny and frail old wolf making one wonder if it was still alive.
Under his watch, "himself" made a vow to the old wolf and became one of the Fran Guards.
Then, he obtained Wolf Blood, which was the final test to join the Undead Team.
Dal heard "himself" howling in pain as his body underwent mutation!
A memory emerged in Dal’s mind, of a homeland corrupted by the Abyss, of dead relatives, of his homeland ablaze...
So indeed, the owner of the image had suffered from the oppression of the Abyss Force, and to seek resistance against the Abyss, he chose to join the Undead Team.
Dal suddenly felt a resonance, because his experiences were too similar to the owner of the image, and despite being a cold observer, he couldn’t help but silently cheer for the owner of the image in his heart.
However, his hopes were dashed.
Amidst the howling, the image owner turned into a monstrous shape that was a combination of a wolf and a human, not a Beastman, but an even more twisted form. He failed to pass the Wolf Blood test and, with his mind crazily corrupted, was nailed to a frame by the members of the Undead Team.
So, that’s how the frames and bodies by the roadside of Fran Fort came to be!
After mutating, the owner of the image finally became strong, that ferocity shocked even Dal, but upon encountering the members of the Undead Team, he was struck down instantly, powerless to resist.
Remembering the numerous frames scattered around, Dal couldn’t bear to imagine how many had failed the Wolf Blood test and turned into monsters, it felt very somber.
Would I accept Wolf Blood for power? Dal suddenly thought of this question.
To fight monsters, one must become a monster...
When he snapped back to reality, he was still in the pitch-dark cave, but the young wolf beside him had disappeared.
The air was free of the Monster’s scent; perhaps it meant that it was safe here? Dal wasn’t in the mood to think about that, his gaze somewhat vacant as he walked forward.

On the first day of the anomaly in Sain Dungeon, the enthusiasm of the adventurers was greatly stimulated, and countless people flooded into the Dungeon.
When enough explorers were present, some hidden things were no longer secret, with so many people, some would discover things that others could not.
Like the relocated dining area, this is the only resource map in Sain Dungeon that even ordinary people could visit; it holds significant meaning.
"Bang!"
Following an explosion, an adventurer watched in shock as his companion was blown sky-high.
Wait, he had only stepped on a bizarre-shaped potato, why did it explode???
Because that potato was called Potato Mine.
Suddenly hearing a strange noise, the adventurer turned around.
A half-human-tall Pumpkin was glaring at him unfriendly.
The dining area was officially separated from the original swamp area, now part of Fran Fort, and placed on one side of the Forest Area, finally making the theme appropriate.
After all, the original design was like building a restaurant next to a public toilet, it felt quite odd no matter how one looked at it.
The dining area seemed unchanged, but every adventurer who entered felt something different—the supposed safe zone seemed not so safe anymore.
If you’re not careful about where you step in the bushes, you might step on a Potato Mine, trespassing on Pumpkin’s territory could lead to ruthless crushing, and the seemingly harmless cabbage might suddenly attack...
