Chapter 86: New Class
Chapter 86: New Class
"I should go horse riding to clear my head"
It has been about a month now and for the past few weeks, Aeryon had consolidated his tribe. It is now time to move again
Aeryon before any big decision, likes to go riding, to clear his head.
Now, almost a month in this world, he has become accustomed and even appreciated some of the things about this world.
The dissonance he felt in the beginning when he transmigrated into this world is not felt that much now.
Dawn is not yet breaking, and Aeryon goes to his stable and then pick his horse.
He already picked the name of his horse
It is Khanjar. Meaning the Horse of the King. Jar means ride, or horse.
The name sound is a bit weird in Marynku. Because there is no title Khan. Instead, they called it something else.
The Ashran does have Kan to refer to great rulers of the tribes. In Roma, there is something that sounds like Khan which Caanus.
During the old empires of the Steppe, there is a title to refer to great ruler.
Qayan.
The Ashran also has its own confederacy at that time and they call their great ruler Kagan. There was a Kagan who led the confederacy of Ashran during that time
People of Ashran called him the Kagan of the Ashran.
There is also the title of Vakama, which also means great ruler. To trace the etymology of this title one ha so read a lot of books and knows a lot of knowledge. As decades and millennium passes by, the name changes and the titles changes.
If there is no Khan title, he could just create it.
Aeryon lead his horse out from the stable and then jump onto it and ride into the distance.
As Aeryon rode across the vast expanse of the Steppe, he found himself immersed in the breath-taking scenery that stretched out before him.
"I never get tired of it" There are times when he is engrossed in his ideas and his thoughts.
Even though he seems strong now, he knows how easy it is for all of it to turns into ash.
Because of that he is even more cautious and think even more carefully. Sometimes, he forgot to look around, to see the world that he is now inhabiting.
"Maybe someday.....when I am truly safe..." he thought to himself but he never finish the thought
He takes a deep breath as he look around him while riding his horse.
The grassy plains extended as far as the eye could see, adorned with vibrant wildflowers that swayed gently in the breeze.
The sky above was a brilliant azure, unblemished by clouds, while the golden rays of the rising sun painted the landscape with a warm and inviting glow.
With each gallop of Khanjar’s powerful hooves, Aeryon felt a sense of liberation and exhilaration.
The wind whipped through his hair.
The rhythmic motion of the horse beneath him seemed to synchronize with the beating of his own heart, a seamless unity between rider and steed.
The air carried the scent of earth and grass, mingling with the invigorating aroma of wildflowers.
A chorus of birds filled the air with their melodic songs, harmonizing with the rustling of the grasses and the distant calls of unseen creatures.
The Steppe seemed to come alive with its own vibrant energy
After riding for half an hour, Aeryon arrived at a tranquil stream that meandered through the landscape, its crystal-clear waters reflecting the surrounding beauty like a mirror.
He dismounted from Khanjar, feeling a sense of peace wash over him as he settled down near the stream’s edge.
"this world is untainted" he thought to himself.
Finding a comfortable spot, Aeryon sat down, his gaze fixed upon the gently flowing water.
The soft babbling of the stream provided a soothing soundtrack, easing his mind and allowing him to momentarily escape the weight of his responsibilities.
He watched as Khanjar grazed contently on the lush grass nearby, the horse’s presence a comforting companion in this serene moment.
With each passing minute, Aeryon felt a deep connection to the natural world around him. The Steppe, with its vastness and untamed beauty, offered him a sense of solace and perspective.
It reminded him of the ephemerality of human existence and the grandeur of the world that stretched beyond the confines of his own ambitions.
As he listened to the gentle symphony of nature and watched the sunlight dance upon the water’s surface, Aeryon found a fleeting sense of tranquillity.
Lost in the serenity of the Steppe, Aeryon allowed his thoughts to drift, finding solace in the simple beauty that surrounded him.
He knew that he would soon have to return to the challenges that awaited him, but for now, in this idyllic setting, he could savour the feeling of freedom
"I always wonder why people go to Mongolia. Maybe, this is one of the reasons. While this Great Steppe is different from the Eurasian Steppe, it probably not that different he thought to himself.
Aeryon really needed this kind of rest. For half an hour he just sit there, and look at the water and not before long the dawn breaks and the sunlight shone its light on the water , creating an even more beautiful scenery.
Then he sighed
"Now, it is time for the stressful parts" he thought to himself.
Now, that he is sitting he could take his time to check his status window.
"Open the status window" he thought to himself.

’Heh" he chuckles as he looks at his status window. Clearly he is quite happy with the improvement
’All that effort is worth it" he thought to himself.
While diligently working on the Promotion quest, Aeryon simultaneously took on the class quest, eager to explore the possibilities that the Archer and Hunter classes had to offer.
He dedicated himself to mastering both paths, immersing himself in rigorous training and challenging tasks.
To obtain the Archer class, Aeryon undertook the daunting task of shooting two hundred arrows.
The range became a proving ground to his determination, with arrows covering its expanse as he honed his archery skills tirelessly.
Some onlookers grew concerned for his well-being, but Aeryon remained focused, driven by his goal.
With each shot, his aim grew more precise, his form more fluid.
Finally, he accomplished the quest, earning the Archer class and unlocking two powerful skills: Piercing Arrow and Shadow Step.
Excited and determined to test their capabilities, he tucked them away, intending to explore them further once he had consolidated his warrior skills.
"I still remember the sore shoulders" he thought to himself. But maybe because his endurance and strength, the strained nerves was quickly healed.
In parallel, Aeryon also embarked on the Hunter class quest, which presented him with a unique challenge.
To complete the quest, he had to hunt down a formidable condor and three cunning wolves.
The quest’s unconventional nature intrigued him, highlighting the system’s diverse quest structures.
He remembered that day
Aeryon embarked on a thrilling expedition, tracking his targets through rugged terrain, engaging in stealthy pursuits, and showcasing his prowess as a hunter.
His perseverance paid off, and he emerged victorious, claiming the Hunter class as his own.
"It is a pity I could not bring anyone else."
Aeryon when he was doing the Hunter quest felt that if Belarion knows he is hunting, he would surely be very enthusiastic to join.
As a reward for completing the Hunter quest, Aeryon obtained two additional skills: Hunter Mark and Survival Instinct.
Intrigued by the latter skill, he refrained from immediately exploring its capabilities, wary of being overwhelmed by the multitude of skills at his disposal.
Aware of his tendency to become entranced by new skills and neglect his existing ones, Aeryon exercised caution, prioritizing his warrior skills while keeping the newfound abilities in reserve.
because he fears that he would be tempted.
When he plays game in the past, he is always dazzled with new skills and sometimes forget his initial skill to strengthen one of his older skills that is more useful for him.
"I guess I am stronger now" he thought to himself as he chuckles.
Looking at his reflection in the glistening water, Aeryon gaze reflected a sense of pride and self-assurance.
The arduous tasks he had undertaken over the past month had undoubtedly made him stronger.
The water cleansed his face,
"Now it is time to check the skill , distribute the points and become stronger" his eyes shines as he said this .
There is many tribes to conquer and it would not be long before the class promotion quest will be completed.
The moment the class promotion quest is completed, Aeryon would not hesitate to send his soldiers to the west
