Way of Overlord
Chapter 305: Strategy in his Heart

Chapter 305: Strategy in his Heart

The more Jayeux wrote, the more clear his mind became and his mind is right now simulating the strategy and he could already envisioned it.

The Huaxia land burns into the ground, the resentment of those that they oppressed, those who are discriminated like himself, those Chanyu’s that the people of Yan look down upon would burns every land they have, slaughter every children and people of Yan so that four a thousand years, they would piss themselves off just thinking of the barbarians.

Knowing the Yan, if they were ever to regain back their land, they would surely smear the people of Songnu, Sirong, Qiang, Di and Xianbei people.

They look down on these tribes and races like they were animals, never trying to understand their languages and culture and instead always maintain a haughty attitude toward those that are not the same race as them

And because of that Jayeux is even more adman in his belief.

The people of Yan has to be destroyed, and they need to be conquered in the only way they understand

Force.

Because that is how they maintained their power. They uses high sounding words to scold people but in the end it is about force

If not how could the people of different origins always rebelled against the dynasty? Unfair treatment, privileged Yan people mocking the people of different colours and of different places

And the people of the Steppe is not lacking in force.

Jayeux even smiles a bit as he is thinking of the destruction of Yan and its people. This is the same people that do unspeakable thing to his mother and to his people.

How could he let go the grudges?

His teacher once said, the sins of the father is not the sin of the Son. The Skyfather does not punish the son for the transgression of the father.

But Jayeux will pay back Yan using their own laws.

Yan has a law that implicate nine tribes.

Since Yan people all said that Yan people everywhere is the same, are all related and all four corners of the world would be Yan lands, how could one not destroy this destructive race?

Since he decided to kill one, he would implicate all the tribes of the Yan people.

Nine tribes would be implicated and Yan people will all share the blame.

Yan people like to self-aggrandized themselves , always thinking that since they were the first to discover something, they like to put this virtue upon their face

It was almost like they themselves that invent those things.

People of Xun for example created assembly liens technique but Yan like to put this matter to the entire Yan people. And probably even after their dynasty fall someday, they would also claims all those ancient people inventiveness for themselves

But to Jayeux, whether it is the Yan people or Xun people discover certain things and create certain invention such news is not always accurate.

Because that just means, you are the first one that recorded it.

Maybe, in someplace else, in another part of the world, there is a civilization that created more things and more complained invention but because they did not share it or that dynasty falls or it is not recorded in official records, or the record itself disappeared these titles could be claimed by those obnoxious shameless Yan people.

But even if the Yan people are truly the pioneer of certain invention, it means nothing to Jayeux

It did not matter who created certain invention first.

What is important how do you make it even more powerful, easy to use, and apply it to your current situation.

Jayeux is very much aware of the shamelessness of Yan people. Hence, he knows that this race of people would surely do all kinds of things to erase the barbarians contribution to the world if they were to rule the world.

Jayeux then could only use the resentment of the world to destroy Yan. Even now, Yan is about to be destroyed by the resentment of its people

But to the people of Yan, these barbarian tribes that resides in their territory is even less than humans

Since that is the case, why not rebel and destroy Yan and their oppressive regime?

To the Yan, if the people of the barbarians surrender, in the article of their scholars, they would say that the barbarians is stupid and cowardly. If they attack, they would said the barbarians are unruly and ungrateful

Who decide who is unruly and who is ungrateful?

If the Yan people surrender, it is for the greater good and to bide for opportunity to kill their new lord

Killing their lord, is an unhonourable thing to do yet if its barbarian lord, they look down upon them.

And if they attack the barbarian, slaughter children and old, burns villages and cities, poisons rivers and lake, block food and kills innocent, their attack is righteous.

If they attack, it is righteous.

Who decide such things? The Yan people like to put gold on their faces.

Since they like to attribute sins to the collective, then Jayeux would also do the same.

They would destroy tribe and Jayeux would also destroy a tribe. In the Steppe, there is dozens of tribe. But in Yan, there is only one tribe.

And that is the tribe of Yan and Huang. And then Yan usurp this position calling all people of Yan, Yan people.

So, Jayeux would wipe out the Yan tribe.

The only difference is that these tribes is a lot larger and long more numerous.

But it is the same concepts as the concept of Yan people that slaughter tribes of the Great Steppe even if they did nothing.

Since doing nothing and doing something would make you get attacked by the people of Yan dynasty, why would they not just attack and find a sliver of lining to make a living.

Yan people always wanted to wipe out the barbarian races.

They forces the "barbarians " to speak their language, erase the culture of these people and then proudly pat their chest and said they are civilizing the barbarians.

The arrogance of Yan people would someday become tehri cause and effect. Jayeux also learns the art of looking at the sky that he was taught by a wandering Wizancai that passes through the lands of Yan

The Wizancai told him that the cause and effect of today would someday leads to Yan humiliated for a century.

And he Jayeux could extend these humiliation for eternity so that the Yan people would never be able to hold their head up high ever again.

Jayeux at that time was heavily battered, heavily starved and the words of that Wizancai become his lifeline.

And he survive those gruelling years and now, he is beginning to implement the plans that had been in his mind for so many years.

He stopped writing for a moment and then he sighed and he shakes his head.

"That Wizancai words, was it real? Or was he just trying to give me a reason to live?" Sometimes, Jayeux thinks back to that moment and as he grows up, he also doubted.

What that Wizancai saw, was it really the future of Yan? Or was it a future that he had made up so that Jayeux would have the desire to live? Then he shakes his head

Whatever the intention of that Wizancai, today, Jayeux is here. And he now could make plans for the world.

Whether it is true or not, is no longer important. If its true, he is following destiny. If its not true, he would make it true by the sheer power of his will

Then Jayeux continue writing again.

[The Songnu, the Sirong, Qiang, Di, Xianbei had resettled inside Yan. But the years of poor admonitions and the civil war that would surely envelop Yan in the future would surely left the empire vulnerable

The Yan tortures and hated the Qiang and Di, treated them even worse than animals and this tension could be used

In Guanzhong, the Qiang and Di is treated with harshness and if one day the Kan set your sight toward the Yan empire, this could be used. Rebellion of the Qiang and Di could be provoked.

Since establishing their presence in Hexi, the Yan people was always in constant conflict with the Qiang people

To appease them, the Qiang were sometimes allowed to resettle into the Guanzhong region

They were also resettled around the watersheds of the Wei and Jing rivers

There they were together with the Yan settler but faced oppression from the local administrator which often led to rebellion

Living close to the Qiang were the Di people. Using the five tribes my Kan could plunge Yan into a great collapse]

Jayeux is writing all kinds of things ranging from advice to rule people, his thoughts and his philosophy, his strategy and his plots and schemes.

And when midnight came, he put down his pen and sighed.
