And h is always eager to improve his knowledge. Failures to him is a chance for him to grow. This kind of person has the strength of character and the ability of a great man.

Of course, Aeryon wanted to cultivate such person.

Of course, there is no need to build bridges and canals. The rivers the Steppe is not as deep or as dangerous as the river in Yan.

But roads are important

This not only provides employment but also enhances connectivity and trade within the kingdom.

And with populations Aeryon could expand agricultural lands.

The Steppe has many types of lands.

There is deserts and snowy mountains but the Southern Great Steppe even though its land is not as fertile as the land in Yan, certain things could still be planted.

As long as he introduced advanced farming technique, improve the irrigation system this could boost food production, leading to surplus food supplies and economic stability.

It would also help explains why Aeryon storage never runs out of things.

Aeryon knows that it would be hard pressed to explain how he could have so many resources.

Fortunately, until now, it still could be explained and with the recent raid Aeryon could explain the wealth that is accumulating in his storage.

But what if someday, there is cases like droughts or lack of food choice but he somehow would always be able to provide foods and resources.

It is the reason why he did not pile on the entire resources he has to his people

If he could not explain where did these things come, many more variables could appear.

However, it is clear to Aeryon, that such era existed and it is not something that is made up by the people.

From the books of Yan, the books of Roma, and even in the folklore of the Marynku, Ashran and Eresian people of the Great Steppe, it could be said this age does exist.

And in those times, there is something called Cornucopia. In the story it is said a Mage with great magical power created it from the horn of a river god.

And from it abundance of food would flow out.

Whether this is a true story or not is something debatable. Magic does exist in that era but does it have the ability to create something like that?

The tribes would use it as an excuse and such treasure would be coveted by all four corners of the Steppe.

And it might even involve the other empires on the sides of the Great Steppe.

This is why all of these building projects is initiated. He could quickly use up all the resources he has.

The resources that has no explanation now all divided among all the people of his tribe. And the people of his tribe would use these resources.

Unlike money, it would not lead to inflation.

Instead, the resources that he has is mostly consumable.

Other than bricks and meteorite irons, most of his other resources he gained is the type of resources that is easily consumables.

It would help in a different way.

It would then feed back into the tribe in an unseen way either in cultivating new generations of healthy Steppe people or cultivating a strong warrior. Some of the resources he has could be sell all over the Steppe

Surplus resources would make it easier to attract more heroes.

All of this is connected to his plan

But the other thing that both Mayeux and he focus on is how the population could help with economic growth.

Aeryon and Mayeux both have the idea to use the population as a consumer base and workforce to support trade and commerce.

The tribe can encourage entrepreneurial ventures and markets to facilitate economic growth.

And this is something that is already pushed on by Aeryon.

Merchant could do many things.

They are merchant but they are also spy.

By being a merchant, they could know the general outline of a certain tribe, their strength, their people.

In governing the country, Aeryon might not hold a candle to Mayeux.

But in economic theories, Aeryon daresay he is more enlightened on this matter than Mayeux.

And of course, the most important reason to increase the population is none other than to increase the military strength of the tribe

A larger population can bolster the military strength. As long as he trains these men, they could be made into soldiers

And with the population not all engage in warfare, he could use the surplus populations toward weapon and armor production and other military supplies, ensuring his tribe military readiness.

Aeryon believe that if he has large population he could leverage its large population by channelling manpower into infrastructure, agriculture, economy, military, governance, innovation, and cultural development.

By doing so, it could harness the potential of its people to strengthen the tribe across various facets of society and governance.

However, Yan failed to do that. Their policy is different and lead to different outcome.

Most of the people of the great Steppe that was conquered by the Yan people fled.

Some of them fled to the Great Steppe, establishes clans.

Some goes to Western Zhou. Some other goes further. Some climb the Yindu mountain ranges and goes to the Yindu region.

Some goes to the far north and end up in the Roma controlled region.

This kind of method of blaming other races and other countries is quite ingenious. But this also shows something.
