Aeryon knows all of this and because of that he knows that dominating strength does not mean everything.

Reputation is also a strength.

Aeryon did not want to cultivate a reputation of benevolence and righteousness.

But that kind of method is different from the culture of the Great Steppe.

This is when she met Burchu

There was a misunderstanding between them in the beginning.

Ayera thought that this person is the thieves and because of careless remarks to each other the conversation turns sour and conceit happens between them and they fought each other.

Burchu realizes halfway that the person he is fighting for have some relations with the Brolgadhr tribe

And this shocks him because he came to the area of the Brolgadhr tribe to meet the Brolgadhr tribe

Burchu comes from a small clan in the edges corners of the Korun tribe. He rides his horses alone toward the lower central region of the Southern Great Steppe because he wanted to sell his service to the Kan of Brolgadhr

But Ayera and her men fight against Burchu because she though he was with the horse thieves

But it is also because of this battle, that Burchu was able to show his talent.

Ayera was so impressed that she persuaded Burchu to come with her to attack the horse thieves, accumulate some merit so when he comes back with her to the Brolgadhr tribe, the tribe would appreciate him and give him great position

Hearing this Burchu was elated.

Burchu himself had the same idea because he knows where the horse thieves went

Burchu in his journey toward the Brolgadhr tribe witnessed the horse thieves drive the Brolgadhr horses to a different camp

Hearing this Ayera persuade Burchu to join. And Burchu accepted the offer. Probably he too wanted to show his worth

Burchu even replace Ayera tired horse with a new one and after three days of riding, they discovered the thieves camp and herds.

They were many horses probably also stolen from other people.

It was a large herd and horses is not the only thing that they stole. Livestock like sheep’s and buffalo is among them

And the Brolgadhr tribe horses is among the herd and they attacked.

These thieves are not a large gathering and just showing up with a few dozen warriors is enough to deter them and the rode in

From this Ayera made the judgment that the Black Wind bandits did not focus on this area and this branch of the Black Wind bandit is small.

Burchu suggested that since no one knows which one is their horses and which one is the others, they should destroy these thieving group , take the horses and the other ill-gotten gains of the thieves and brought it back to the tribe

Ayera also shows her mettle, using bows and arrows to kill people.

They successfully recovered the animas and took them back to the Brolgadhr tribe.

Burchu then relay his intention of wanting to join the tribe and sell his service to the Kan. The Elders hearing this could only frown and did not know what to do with Burchu, the bounty and the action of Burchu killing those thieving bandits.

The Black wind bandit could be said to be weak. However, that depends on many things.

It depends on the circumstances and the interest.

And so, Rukari could only sigh when he got the news of what had happened.

Ayera returns at night with the head of the head bandit and the few hundred horses. There, she also recommended Burchu to the Elders, extolling his virtue that he is a talented person, armed with a spear, he could be an enemy of a hundred people

And till the morning of next day, Rukari could not get a wink of sleep thinking of how to solve this matter.

Ayera, even though she is the wife of Aeryon, she is an outsider. Even the Elders has not warmed up to her.

She theoretically has the power to give orders in the tribe because of her position. If it was before, the Brolgadhr of the past, with her status, she could surely give order and people of Brolgadhr would not find it weird

But the current tribe of Brolgadhr is very different.

They listen only to Aeryon and since Aeryon herself did not say anything about Ayera before he left, it is the matter of the Elders to decide what to do with the loot , the bounty and what to do with Burchu.

Rukari knows that his nephew likes talent. He put people in the right place, giving those who have the talent to stand out a stage to shows their talent and help him

Rukari however could not make the decision for Aeryon and so the Elders decide to give a tent to Burchu, treated him like an honoured guest while they wait for the Kan to return.

Aeryon smiles when thinking of this.

The Elders thought of it as a problem, Ayera could not overstep her boundaries but Aeryon did not think this is problem at all.

"Though Ayera...." And he sighed.

This wife of his. He really doesn’t know how to arrange her matter.

It is not like Aeryon doesn’t know what Ayera is doing in his tribe. This is spying on him for her father.

It is good enough that Aeryon simply doesn’t cut her down.

As for Burchu, what is not to like
