There is many things that the Kazan tribe could do now

after Utgard takes Rudya and send most of its resources to the Kazan, Kazan tribe was very much eager to attack the other splinters of Kazan.

They now have more resources, and they have more people. And the battle where they fight the Rudya tribe also helps in training the new warriors.

A week ago, the plan is quite simple. And the strategy is laid out. And it all seems that it would come to fruition.

Utgard takes Rudya so now Kazan has two places where the Kazan tribe could attack the splintering tribes.

Four corners of the area now could be targeted, the goal of unifying the splintering Kazan tribe is closer than it has ever been

At that time, the Kazan chief was very happy and joyful. He even opens his precious Ayrag and throws a feast with his warriors.

Kazan tribe helps Utgard and it is now the duty of Utgard tribe top help Kazan tribe.

Of course, everyone known that Garron is a Viper and he could not be trusted easily. People don’t give the title Viper to someone they could trust

But, after all that the Kazan chief had done, if Utgard tribe renege on their promise, there would be no place under the Sun in the Great Steppe that the Utgard tribe could ask for help from.

As the chief of the Kazan tribe, the reason why he could truly help the Utgard tribe sincerely is not only because there are marriage ties between the two tribes

But also, because the emergence of the Brolgadhr tribe.

If Garron the chief of Utgard tribe refuse to honour the agreement then the Kazan chief has another move to make.

Instead of Utgard, the Kazan chief could strike an agreement with the Brolgadhr tribe, attack Utgard, and divide the area.

And this move is something that the Utgard also knows.

The Kazan chief is old but his mind is as sharp as ever

He knows that the alliance between the Utgard and the Brolgadhr is shaky.

Even though Garron marries his daughter to Aeryon Son of Rakarys, knowing the ambition f those two men, marriage ties probably mean nothing to them

And only the benefit that could be gained by such marriage interest them

Brolgadhr tribe seems to reinvent themselves as a strong tribe that is trustworthy. This could be seen in the way Aeryon forges alliance and upheld the promise in the alliance treaty

This makes Brolgadhr method of conquest become even more effective.

When Aeryon promise that he would spare people, everyone believe that he would uphold it and it is for this reason that more people would rather surrender to Aeryon than to other chiefs

But the Kazan chief could see that Aeryon ambition is not over.

Even though he had now taken most of the tribes on the west, he is not satisfied.

By now, all the chief could see the tribe ambition of this young wolf.

Aeryon wanted to take the Southern Great Steppe.

And if that is his ambition, it would surely create tension down the road between the Utgard and Brolgadhr will one day want to subdue the Utgard.

And knowing Utgard that tribe also wanted to expand

These two tribes will clash with each other.

The small tribes would band together, the enemy of your tribes would conspire, the other large tribes whose interest could be fulfilled by defeating you would back up the smaller tribe and now you are up against the entire Steppe.

This is why even though one could break alliances; they must think clearly of many factors.

If they break the alliance, would someone use that as a justification to attack you? Does any enemies would use that as a weight to hold you down?

Utgard knows this.

Before, they could easily break alliance with other tribes because those tribes are small and they have no backing

But now, there is Brolgadhr.

if Utgard breaks his promise to the Kazan, the Kazan would go to Brolgadhr and hand Aeryon the justification to attack.

And not only that, Kazan chief is quite sure that if he goes to the Brolgadhr tribe and suggest an alliance, the young chief would accept.

Because an alliance with the Kazan is more beneficial for the Brolgadhr tribe than the alliance with the Utgard

Not only the Kazan tribe could hold back the east, they could also help Aeryon destroy the Utgard and attack Utgard territory from the back and the front.

But Kazan chief did not want to use this method if he is not desperate. After all, making an alliance with Aeryon is like putting your life in his hands

And Kazan chief knows that Garon also knows that he could do it

And it is precisely because of this that he is confident that Garron would honour his promise and would send reinforcement if he orders it.

And the Kazan chief wanted to cash in that favour.

But then a week passes and the affairs of the world changes

A week ago, Kazan tribe could choose four targets.

They could choose Estkazan to the southeast. The Sordkazan to their South. Nurkazan to their north and Dayan to their northwest.

Whichever way, he chooses to attack with Utgard tribe helping him, there is a chance for the Kazan tribe to gobble up the Kazan tribe enemy.

Utgard also did he same thing when they were taking Rudya.

Instead of taking all of them at one time, Utgard take it slowly and digest the area of the Rudya little by little, like a person eating meat slowly so that it could savour the taste.

That is Kazan chief tribe plans. Of course, before he decided which one to attack, the Kazan tribe also denoted any tribes that have dangers on them

Estkazan borders the Esbizuk river toward the east and to the south, the Estkazan borders Sordkazan.

Kazan tribe knows that this is not a place where he should meddle.

Instead, he wanted Sordkazan to fight for Estkazan lands.

Kazan chief knows that Esbizuk tribe is expanding their tribe and territory and there is only one direction where the Esbizuk tribe could expand and that is toward the west.

And west of Esbizuk tribe is Estkazan

Sordkazan on the other hand would not expand to the west. To the west of Sordkazan is a small tribe.

the Korun tribe. If Sordkazan tribe wanted to take down Korun tribe it would be easy.

Karnain the chief of Sordkazan could send his elite warrior squad and destroy the Korun tribe.

But then why did he not do that? Because Korun is actually sandwiched between the Utgard tribe and the Brolgadhr tribe.

These two rising tribes actually allows Korun tribe to be beside them and did nothing to them.

Why?

Because this is the buffer between the two tribes.

Even though now that Utgard tribe had taken Rudya and borders Brolgadhr on the western border, there is still understanding between those two tribes.

As long as Korun stands, the status quo between the Utgard and the Brolgadhr tribe remains.

If Sordkazan tribe attack Korun and break this status quo, Karnain is sure that Utgard and Brolgadhr tribe would send their warriors to attack the Sordkazan tribe.

And if that happens, Sordkazan could not withstand the attack of these two tribes.

Not to mention that even in the unlikeliest chance that Utgard tribe would not attack the Sordkazan tribe if they destroy Korun tribe, Karnain is sure that Brolgadhr would attack. Because attacking Korun means opening the road toward the East.

Right now, the Brolgadhr is focusing toward the west.

Some tribes in the west probably wanted Sordkazan to break this situation and probably some of them would hope that Karnain the chief of Sordkazan would attack Korun and change the gaze of that young chief of Brolgadhr toward the east.

Sordkazan would not be a borrowed knife for other people.

But what does this mean for Kazan tribe?

It means that since Sordkazan could not expand toward the west, the only choice the Sordkazan have is to expand toward the north of toward the east.

Why are the Kazan so sure that Sordkazan would not expand toward the north?

Because Utgard could attack from the western area of the Sordkazan if Sordkazan rush toward the north.

Not to mention that the Korun tribe might not just watch this happens.

If Utgard could persuade the chief of Korun to share benefits, it is not outside of the realm of possibility for the Utgard and the Korun tribe to attack jointly toward Sordkazan western area.

Of course, Korun and Utgard would not attack Sordkazan just because they feel like it. The chief of Kazan could tell that those two tribes would only makes such a move if the moves would serve the interest of their tribe

Hence, Kazan tribe has been waiting for this event

The Sordkazan clashing with the Esbizuk tribe.

That is the event that the chief of the Kazan tribe was waiting for.

And Kazan would be the oriole that look at the mantis that is stalking the cicada. The plan was perfect.
