The battle continued on the gate.

Unlike the other chief, Valgrun did not go to fight.

Instead, he returns back to his tent and began sending orders

As Valgrun sitting in his tent, his surroundings illuminated by the sunlight from the outside, he unfurled a rough map of the Great Steppe.

This map, much like his thoughts, painted a complex picture of the tribes and territories that made up the vast and sprawling Southern Great Steppe.

In addition to the tribal territories, the map also displayed the Western Zhou lands, marking the edges of Yan empire.

The map served as a visual representation of the complex world he was navigating in his mind.

The map does not only show territories but also noted about battles and conquests but also about the intricate relationships between tribes, the shifting power dynamics, all of it noted.

There is also the territories of the Western Zhou on the map. It was like he was planning for the world inside the tent.

"Aeryon or Dama" he mutters to himself.

He already got what he came here for.

To see those two young chief. But now come the difficult choice

Who should he choose? He believes whoever he chose would gain the Southern Great Steppe.

Because he has enough confidence on himself, on his men and on the terrifying reserve he had gathered

Unlike the other chief, he did not care that much about taking down the city of Nurshira.

"What a man!’ he thought to himself when he thought of how Aeryon changes a small tribe that did not raven register on his map into a large force now commanding tens of thousands of men and is now still expanding crazily and swiftly.

The map that Valgrun uses is a map he created by himself. Tribes that did not enter his map are tribes that are only a few hundred men. Such tribe would not be written on his map.

It is only the big tribes that is noted on his map. But since Aeryon returned from the Pass, and the subsequent event that happen after that, for every week now, Valgrun had to modify and updated his map

" This young man is unlike his father. He is brave, resourceful and knows how to use his strength to fight against other people weakness. He did not lack bravery and he did not lack cunningness"

"But the most important this, this young man possess great ambition" Valgrun could deduce all of this from seeing the action of this young chief since he returns back from the Pass

When he thought about Aeryon, he thought about this chief method of swift attack.

He did not give his tribe a rest and other tribe a rest.

He did not sit in his laurels and keep advancing and because of that, without any powerful and large tribe around the Brolgadhr tribe, they quickly rose and now could muster a lot of men under them

He looks at the map and in his mind he began comparing Aeryon and Dama

" The alliance a was a good touch" he thought to himself as his eyes look on the part of the map where Utgard tribe is noted.

Before, the Utgard tribe is noted but the only reason why such a small tribe is noted in Valgrun map is because Valgrun knows the terrifying scheming ability of the Viper.

Valgrun might have been waiting for a unifier, but he also take stock of potential enemies.

And Garron, the one people called the Viper is someone that Valgrun also has been watching.

Of course, compared to the other tribes near Garron, he did not know much about the Utgard tribe. But now, who doesn’t know this tribe that is also now rising with great momentum

Valgrun smile and the wrinkles on his face moves a little. His mind begin spinning, trying to see if there is angle he could use.

"Aeryon alliance with Utgard tribe protected them from eastern threat" Valgrun mutters to himself

Utgard tribe and the Brolgadhr tribe even seal the alliance with a marriage.

As for the reason why, it protected Aeryon from the eastern threat, it is because Utgard tribe led by Garron the Viper is also expanding, taking the small tribes that is under his land and incorporate it under his banner.

And so, the eastern threat is nullified by the Utgard threat

Utgard tribe itself is allied with Kazan tribe toward the northeast.

And immediately when the alliance between the two tribes is sealed, Utgard and Kazan tribe attack Rudya

Kazan and the Utgard tribe is also related by marriage.

and from what Valgrun heard, the Rudya tribe is now being battered heavily and it would not be long before they would fall.

Utgard would then control Rudya and it would open the road toward the north.

Not to mention Kazan and Utgard alliance would make Sordkazan, Estkazan on the east feeling wary.

With this enemies on their side, how could they pay attention to Brolgadhr tribe who is now expanding west. Not to mention there is the Korun tribe toward the east of Brolgadhr tribe acting like a buffer between Brolgadhr and the rest of the tribe on its eastern border

If any of the tribes on the east wanted to expand west ward they first have to take down Korun tribe.

Taking down Korun tribe would inform Brolgadhr tribe and the Brolgadhr tribe under Aeryon is a powerful tribe.

They are no longer a small tribe that have to follow the flow and other people attitude.

It is now them that set the attitude and the other must respond to it

Once they bring down Korun tribe, the combined forces of Utgard and Brolgadhr would probably decimate any forces daring to stretch their claws toward the west.

This is the first layout. Securing the east.

Then how about the north?

Before Aeryon took Khulun and Kanun tribe, Brolgadhr tribe bordered Khulun on the north, Kanun to the west.

But after taking Khulun and Kanun tribe, Brolgadhr tribe now bordered Wustkazan to the north and Duhai and Chagai on the west.

Wustkazan is nothing to worry about because they would be worried more about Rudya being taken by Utgard

If Utgard takes over Wustkazan, then Brolgadhr would border with Utgard on their northern part.

This might create conflict but it also make them able to quickly gather allied forces quickly.

If Wustkazan attack Brolgadhr unless the Viper wanted to create another enemy as formidable as Aeryon, he would send his men to help

As for the west, Duhai is now a vassal tribe of the Brolgadhr and Zlata was also subjugated.

Now, the influence of the Brolgadhr tribe is all over the lower south on the western part.

Zlata tribe bordered with Khagai tribe.

But Khagai tribe could not easily just attack Zlata tribe. Zlata tribe itself is not that strong but there is still Duhai tribe

Valgrun knows all about Durka

That old man is not someone that you should cross. Even though he is old, he is still very powerful.

In his youth, he could even fight against people born with innate strength

And now, under Aeryon, he might even be more powerful.

The only limitation of Durka was that he did not have enough men to lead.

There is a reason why he believes that Chagai tribe possess a great ability to rule the other Great Steppe.
