Vengeance of The Broken Lycan Prince [BL]
Chapter 105: Who Let The Monkeys Out

Chapter 105: Who Let The Monkeys Out

[TAMIKO]

Whoever said romantic love was a beautiful thing was right and wrong at the same time, because there wasn’t anything that could be more beautiful than the love that bound the dark father and the insane son.

Theirs was a love that knew no bounds, a kind of love that would fuck up the universe just because they were bored, and a love that could fix it right up just because they were feeling terrible for ruining people’s days.

The Hinatas had everyone’s attention.

Literally.

The Lycans of Kawai couldn’t be blamed though. This right here was a special sight for them even as they tried to make it make sense. None of it was to them anyway, especially seeing how their dark and brooding king was smiling from ear to ear.

Most of them couldn’t quite remember the last time that the king had been this happy and they had long realized that the king was occasionally staring at the kid beside him, like he was the best part of the Lycan king’s existence.

"They’re staring," Tamiko said as he and his father made their way around the kingdom. The Lycans are still busy with the preparations and the starting as expected. But even then Tamiko hadn’t expected that it would be this intense.

"You want me to stop them?" King Zaffuto asked and Tamiko snorted at the king and the absurdity of that statement, much less coming for the Lycan king with a reputation that could bring down factions.

"Why would you even do that... you would ruin the celebration you huge man," Tamiko said as he slapped his father’s arm gently and the king figured it was the time for him to pout. Somehow the Lycans had seen him, and boy were they shocked.

"Then what do you want me to do... Maybe I can make them blind so they don’t stare anymore?" the king said and this time, Tamiko stopped to look at his father like he was considering asking the man if he was okay in the head.

"Did you ever stop to think that they are staring at us because we are the only ones lazing around and they are doing the hard work? Come song, we need to help them. After all, we are doing this for Kawai.

"Besides, we wouldn’t want people coming to the kingdom and seeing the greatest of all kingdoms looking messy, right? Before you complain, it is a good habit to chip in and be with your people.

"They will be motivated. So, roll them sleeves and come with me." Tamiko said.

King Zaffuto hadn’t ever considered this. This was something he hadn’t expected but at the same time, he wasn’t one to pass up the chance to bond with his son. If Tamiko said to jump, Zaffuto could only ever ask how high he wanted him to jump.

That was what he had promised himself and even as his son dragged him to the place where the warriors were chopping firewood, the confusion and pride hadn’t left his face.

"Hello... Hi everyone. I brought us a servant... a servant leader. Today he’s not our king, but one of us. And he wanted to know how to help. So, where we are. If it’s not too much trouble for you guys;

"We hope you can let us join in with the wood cutting since we don’t know how to make ribbons and gather flowers," Tamiko greeted enthusiastically as he went straight to the point.

He knew it wasn’t going to be easy for the Lycans, but at least he was here to make things easier for the king. The Lycans stared at their king, the deadliest man ever known to the realm standing there like a puppy who was being strung along.

He looked like he wasn’t sure what I needed to do and yet at the same time, he looked like he genuinely wanted to learn what it was his people were doing.

There was no doubt they all could have used their magic to make things easier, but they wanted to be together when they worked, and this gave them a chance to bond with each other.

Hopefully, they wouldn’t be scared of the king, right? Then again, it was an impossible task really, seeing as the king had quite the reputation. Maybe just this one he would be a normal Lycan with no titles like the test of them, right?

"Th... The king? You want his majesty splitting wood with us?" one of the men, Aram, said as he looked at their team. Everyone in the stream had taken a pause to take in just how ridiculous the idea was. There was just no way the man would even want to be here right?

"Does he even know how to do this?" another asked and Tamiko stared at the king, who was currently a little too quiet. His aura wasn’t as strong. But he felt unsure of place and it was more than obvious.

For a moment, Tamiko felt bad for his father.

"I will teach him... don’t worry. Besides, he wanted to be here. Pretty please, we promise not to make this awkward," Tamiko said as he turned to the king who was a little taller than him. He looked so lost it is heartbreaking but such was life, right?

"You can do this, Hinata. Besides, instead of just walking to the palace for the tour, we can help the teams and work our way to the palace. By the time we will be done with touring the place, we would have happened to the fetus.

"That is way better than walking sound and them watching you scared of what you would do to them. Also, if we didn’t behave, Uncle said we will never see each other again. I know he means it, and Kosta would probably never let us leave together.

"Let’s do this, right?" Tamiko said to his father who was listening keenly before he suddenly held the kid’s cheeks and pinched them like it was the most normal of things that they had done.

Then again, the Lycans were where and they expected something else. But as they would slowly learn, Zaffuto with the kid beside him, was the kind of mess that was good not just for themselves but for the entire kingdom.

They completed each other in ways that no one ever would, not even the mate bond could get to that point with them.

"The next team over there is picking grapes... so the first one to chop a hundred pieces of wood, gets to beg for grapes, that is if they didn’t shoot us away. What do you say?" the king asked his son who was staring at him challengingly.

They were taking this a little too seriously, though deep down they were just glad they had each other. They were glad they had both found themselves and frankly, it was heartwarming to an extent.

Other than that, they were psychos.

"Oh, you’re on," Tamiko said before tuning to Aram and the other Lycans, "don’t go easy on him. Today he is just another Lycan man with no titles like the rest of us. But you can go easy on me since I’m still a kid."

The Lycans stared at them wondering what the fuck these two were doing. Of course, they imagined that it was a game for the two and were sure that the bastards would play their game, get bored, and leave them with the workload.

It was expected really since none of them had ever interacted with the king and they couldn’t exactly start raising questions, because there were chances that the king could command their Lycans into submission for the longest of times.

"You want to play unfair, huh? How about a one-on-one, hmm? They rest while we chop the firewood. And increase the number to three hundred pieces of wood. The first one gets to eat the grapes first," the king said and the Lycans could have sworn they heard their king wrong.

Well, they were in a circus and the two monkeys were there to entertain them while reducing their workload.

"Aram is the referee," Tamiko said and the warrior stared at him hopelessly.

"Fine. Aram is the referee. Let’s begin," Zaffuto said.

In the distance, Kosta and Sadako were using their super sight to watch the madness that was about to unfold.

"I pity the warriors watching the two idiots," Kosta said and he and Sadako just burst out laughing.

This was going to be very interesting.
