Chapter 432: Han Han is here for his bride hahahaha
Xiang Yu stood tall, the plasma whip swirling in his hand, a conqueror in a battlefield of chaos. "Who is the fucking pest now?" he shouted, his voice echoing triumphantly as he prepared for what he knew would be Valtor’s inevitable comeback. The thrill of battle coursed through him like he was in his element.
As the dust settled in the arena, Valtor groaned and spat out a mouthful of blood, the crimson droplets splattering on the ground like forgotten promises of glory. He grimaced as he pushed himself off the ground, each movement a test of both will and pain.
His eyes, wild with rage and determination, locked onto Xiang Yu, the initial shock of his defeat morphing into a primal growl that reverberated through the air.
Xiang Yu stood poised, a sinister smile curling his lips, confident in his victory yet aware that Valtor was far from done. He could sense the surge of rage and adrenaline pulsing from the massive warrior.
With a flick of his wrist, he unleashed the plasma whip, tendrils of bright energy crackling and flashing in the dim arena light. The hissing sound it emitted sent a thrill through the crowd.
"Come on then, let’s see what you’ve got left," Xiang Yu taunted, his tone a blend of mockery and challenge.
Valtor charged at him, an unstoppable force fueled by pure fury, but as he closed the distance, Xiang Yu’s whip sliced through the air, a fiery arc aimed straight at Valtor’s chest.
The moment it made contact, the searing plasma hissed against the flesh, a red-hot line of agony that left the warrior staggering backwards with a roar, his skin blistering from the force of the strike.
He was thrown like a ragdoll across the arena, his body crashing against the wall with a bone-rattling impact. The spectators erupted, their cheers a swelling tide of jubilation as they witnessed his Pain Fury. A massive dent formed in the wall, the very structure groaning under the weight of Valtor’s mighty frame.
With calm confidence, Xiang Yu began to walk forward, each step measured and deliberate, eyes fixed on Valtor, who lay momentarily dazed on the ground. "Get up, champion of the wastelands," he called, feigning impatience as he savoured the moment of dominance. "You are making this too easy."
Valtor shook his head, trying to clear the haze clouding his vision. Everything around him bled into distortion with Xiang Yu appearing in doubles, the image flickering. With a guttural roar, he pushed himself up, determination reinstated, though his impaired vision played cruel tricks on him.
"Come on! Show me what you have got!" Xiang Yu shouted, his voice dripping with derision.
With a fierce yell, Valtor charged once more, fueled by sheer willpower and anger, but his target shimmered in and out of focus. He lunged, swinging his hammer with all his might, but his vision betrayed him, and he missed entirely, overextending into the empty space beside Xiang Yu.
Flailing in a wild, unwieldy motion, Valtor lost his balance, crashing into the ground with a tremendous thud. The impact sent shockwaves through the arena, creating a massive crater that reverberated like thunder. The audience erupted into frenzied celebration, shouting and cheering in a tidal wave of excitement and awe, revelling in the spectacle of the fallen giant, even as they awaited his resurgence.
Xiang Yu stood a few paces away, arms crossed and a satisfied smirk on his face as he watched Valtor’s frustration boil over. "Looks like you have given up," he called mockingly. "Care to try again, or are you done for the day?"
But even as he spoke, he knew Valtor wasn’t finished yet. The fire in the warrior’s eyes would burn bright still. The arena, thick with anticipation urged him on telling him cut of a hand or rip out his throat. It seems everyone was placing orders for body parts but Xiang Yu wasn’t going to do that.
Meanwhile, a much larger narrative was unfolding beyond the parched horizon of the wastelands. A spacecraft descended, cutting through the sky like a falling star before piercing the dusty earth in a cloud of debris and noise.
Out of the spacecraft, three high-end military vehicles surged forward, raising towering dust clouds that blurred the line between land and sky.
Within one of those vehicles sat Han Xin, his presence suffocatingly authoritative. Every ounce of his being radiated an aura so intimidating that even Han Zhan seated next to him felt a chill run down his spine. He didn’t even dare to breath.
"Why won’t you let me drive?" Marshal Wu who was sitting at the back implored, his voice a hesitant whisper, glancing nervously at Han Xin, the air thick with unspoken concern.
"Your Majesty, I—" the Marshal began again, but a sharp turn of the wheel interrupted him, sending his body slamming against the side window with a forceful thud. It felt less like a car ride and more like a violent rollercoaster.
"Sorry," Han Xin grunted, though they both knew it wasn’t entirely on him. Zeus had instructed him to change direction abruptly, prompting the wild manoeuvre. The Marshal rubbed his sore shoulder, recognizing that commenting further would only invite more chaos upon himself.
As the three military vehicles rolled into the shabby outskirts of the city, they were met with a wave of curious onlookers drawn to the sudden influx of new power on their land.
Dust swirled in the wake of the magnificent machines, catching the light like glitter amidst the harshness of their environment. The gathered crowd began contemplating nefarious deeds.
They thought of ganging up on them and robing them of everything but before anyone could make a move, the doors of the vehicles swung open with a commanding precision, revealing a cadre of intimidating soldiers clad in tactical gear. Their plasma guns were raised, their faces obscured by menacing masks and their eyes sharp and watchful.
Han Xin, ever the focal point of authority, tapped the side of his face, and a mask appeared seamlessly, enhanced by his regal aura. He stepped out of the vehicle, tall and imposing, with Han Zhan and Marshal Wu trailing closely behind.
