Chapter 344: ... I can take it

Han Xin’s hand paused midway through pulling out his shirt. He had been wondering why Xiang Yu told him to wait for him earlier. It seems he actually made him wait for this. An evil flame rose in him and he smiled slightly. He put back the shirt.

With a slow, deliberate movement he began to lift the hem of his inner shirt, revealing his flawless back. Xiang Yu rummaged through his bag and took out two ointment tubes, reading the labels seriously. "Both of these should help," he said, his voice steady. "But I think this one will be more effective."

He turned around, his eyes immediately locking onto Han Xin’s muscular frame. The bruise on Han Xin’s abdomen was a stark contrast to his otherwise perfect body. Xiang Yu’s mind went blank, his eyes tracing the contours of Han Xin’s body as if caressing him with his gaze.

He admired the defined pecs, the hard nipples that seemed to be begging to be sucked, and the ridged abdominal muscles that formed a tantalizing V-line. His eyes traveled lower but a look of disappointment flushed in his eyes as he couldn’t see beyond that point since it was concealed by the pants.

Xiang Yu really wished he had x-ray vision. He couldn’t see beyond the fabric but he could use his imagination. The outline on Han Xin’s pants was enough to fuel his imagination. Han Xin looked at Xiang Yu’s shameless appearance and stared to his heart’s content.

Han Xin should have been repulsed or annoyed after being gwaked at by another alpha like that but he wasn’t. He felt quite the

opposite actually. "My eyes are up here," he said, his voice laced with amusement.

Xiang Yu lost in his fantasies, barely registering Han Xin’s words. His mind was filled with images of Han Xin’s naked body, every inch of his skin explored and adorned with his markings. "Huh?" he muttered, his eyes finally meeting Han Xin’s.

Han Xin didn’t repeat his words. Instead, he said, "The ointment."

Xiang Yu said, " Oh, that’s right," his voice low and hoarse like his throat was dry as he handed it to him.

"Your Highness, may I trouble you to help me apply it?" Han Xin’s deep voice resonated in the room. Xiang Yu, with a playful glint in his eyes, responded with a hint of mischief, "Are your hands broken?"

Han Xin sighed, feigning exasperation. "I can’t see where I am injured," he admitted, his gaze briefly flickering towards the mirrors that adorned the walls. The mirrors, though a mere few feet away, seemed to be ignored by both parties, as if their presence was an inconvenience to the unfolding events.

Xiang Yu’s lips curved into a slight smile, his confidence unwavering. "That makes sense. I can help you," he said, taking a step forward towards him.

As he lowered his head to break the seal of the ointment, Han Xin’s eyes were drawn to the top of his head. Han Xin’s aura was overwhelming, a force that seemed to radiate from every pore of his being. Han Xin’s hand instinctively reached into his pocket, his fingers twitching with the urge to touch Xiang Yu’s nape, to feel the soft skin and release the pheromones he knew were lurking beneath.

Alphas were known for their clashing pheromones, a natural repulsion that often led to dominance battles. But Han Xin’s desire was different. He wanted to inhale Xiang Yu’s scent, to experience the unique essence of this alpha.

Xiang Yu, oblivious to the internal struggle Han Xin was facing, finally managed to open the ointment. He squeezed a generous amount onto his hand, the cool gel contrasting with the heat of his skin. Rubbing it between his fingertips, he prepared to rub it on Han Xin’s wound.

"Does it hurt?" Xiang Yu asked, his voice soft and concerned as he examined the bruise on Han Xin’s abdomen. Han Xin wanted to say that he had endured far worse and that he felt nothing but instead of the expected stoic reply, a soft "Uh-huh" escaped his lips.

"Then I will be gentle," he whispered, his warm fingers gently caressing Han Xin’s abdomen. The touch was light, almost reverent as if Xiang Yu was afraid of causing further pain. But Han Xin’s breath caught in his chest, his body betraying his composure. The thirst for Xiang Yu’s pheromones was growing, an insatiable desire that clouded his usual clear-headedness.

The atmosphere in the room shifted, becoming heavy and charged with unspoken desires. Han Xin’s hand shot out, his fingers wrapping around Xiang Yu’s wrist. "You can rub a little harder... I can take it," he rasped, his voice thick with want. Xiang Yu’s breath hitched, his eyes widening at the sudden change in Han Xin’s demeanour.

"Damn it," Xiang Yu cursed under his breath. He had always prided himself on his self-control, but now, with Han Xin’s husky words echoing in his mind, he felt his resolve slipping away. The alpha pheromones that had been simmering beneath the surface now filled the room, an invisible force that drew them together.

"I am sorry... I can’t help it," Xiang Yu murmured, his voice laced with a mixture of apology and desire. Han Xin’s eyes flickered to the hand that was now rubbing his abdomen with increasing pressure.

"No need to apologize," he said, his voice low and gravelly. Han Xin was entranced by the scent that filled the air. It was floral, like the sweet fragrance of plumeria, a scent that seemed to dance around them, teasing his senses.

It was a unique scent for an alpha, one that Han Xin had never encountered before. Even in his past life, Xiang Yu had not possessed such an alluring aroma. This scent was exclusive to this person.

As Xiang Yu continued to apply the ointment, Han Xin’s mind became clouded with lust. He wanted to press Xiang Yu against the wall, to claim him, to mark him as his own. It was a primal urge, one that surprised even Han Xin. In his past life, he had never felt the desire to touch, let alone mark, anyone. But now, his eyes were bloodshot, his instincts as an alpha fully awakened.

Xiang Yu, unaware of the danger he was in, finished applying the ointment to Han Xin’s abdomen and moved on to other areas, his touch gentle yet firm. The heat between them was palpable, a burning sensation that threatened to consume them both. Xiang Yu’s breath quickened, his heart pounding in his chest as he fought against the rising tide of desire.

"Done," he said, his voice hoarse. "You can apply the rest." He placed the ointment back into Han Xin’s hand, their fingers brushing against each other, sending sparks of electricity through their bodies. Xiang Yu turned to leave, his movements hurried, as if he was afraid to linger any longer.
