Chapter 284: Yu Yu, you are beautiful

Han Zhan was about to ask what when Little Bai emerged from inside, his small face scrunched in worry. "Brother Zhan, can you help me look for my watch? I think I dropped it when we were at the beach today."

Han Zhan looked up lazily, the warmth of the evening settling over him. "Can’t you ask one of the bodyguards? I am too drunk to walk," he replied, his words slurring slightly.

Little Bai bit his lip, his eyes glistening with the threat of tears. Han Xin, sitting nearby, nudged Han Zhan’s elbow. "Come on, just go help him."

With a resigned sigh, Han Zhan sat up straight. "Okay, let’s go you little ancestor. But if we can’t find it in ten minutes, we come back. You can look for it tomorrow morning."

Little Bai’s face lit up with joy. "Okay!" he exclaimed, and he quickly dashed ahead, leading the way.

As soon as they turned the corner, Lian and Mei walked over, each balancing a plate piled high with skewers of meat. They settled next to Han Xin, their faces glowing with excitement.

"Brother, here, have a skewer," Mei said, offering one to him.

Han Xin didn’t refuse. "Thank you," he replied, taking it gratefully.

Lian wasn’t about to be left out. "Here, this one has pork," she chimed in, holding out another skewer.

"Thanks," Han Xin said, accepting it.

Then Mei leaned in closer, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "So now that you are going to be our new dad, will you let us do your hair?"

Han Xin blinked in surprise. His hair was so short, he couldn’t help but wonder what they could possibly do with it.

"Yeah, we do Master’s hair all the time," Lian added, her enthusiasm infectious.

Mei nodded, biting into her skewer. "We brush it and put cute hairpins in it."

Lian grinned, her eyes bright. "We also put makeup on him."

Mei nodded again, her mouth full. "I think pink lipstick will look nice on you."

Han Xin was beginning to wonder what he had just signed up for when Lian and Mei suddenly looked past him. Curious, he turned his head back and saw Xiang Yu dancing to the music.

The sight was both surprising and captivating. Xiang Yu moved gracefully to the gentle strains of soft music. His fluid movements seemed almost effortless, a serene smile gracing his face, making him look ethereal. The soft light cast a warm glow around him, enhancing the peaceful ambience. Han Xin watched, captivated, and could only think of one word: beautiful.

Lian and Mei erupted into infectious giggles, leaping to their feet. Their laughter echoed in the room, adding a lively sparkle to the atmosphere. They joined Xiang Yu, their small feet trying to mimic his elegant steps, their joy uncontainable. Han Xin, nestled comfortably in a nearby armchair, felt his heart swell with joy as he watched this enchanting scene unfold. His smile grew wider and brighter with each passing moment, the love and admiration in his eyes unmistakable.

Seeing Han Xin sitting and watching, Xiang Yu extended his hand, a playful glint in his eye. "Come dance with us," he invited, his voice warm and inviting.

Han Xin hesitated, laughing softly, "I can’t dance."

Xiang Yu chuckled, his eyes sparkling. "Neither can I."

Encouraged by this, Lian and Mei rushed over, their tiny hands grabbing Han Xin’s and pulling him to his feet. Despite his initial reluctance, a smile tugged at Han Xin’s lips, and he stood up, his cheeks tinged with a shy blush. The family of four began to move together in the lounge, creating a beautiful picture of harmony and love.

Though a bit bashful at first, Han Xin found his rhythm, joining in their joyous dance. The scene was a perfect blend of laughter, love, and unspoken connection—a tender moment of unity and happiness that caught the attention of Old Song and Butler Qing, who were still playing cards.

Old Song remarked, "I never thought I would see Yu Yu this happy."

Butler Qing chuckled, adding, "And I thought young master Han would die alone."

The two old men shared a laugh before returning to their game, their eyes still occasionally drifting to the lively scene.

Soon, the song transitioned to an even slower jam, and Han Xin found himself hugging Xiang Yu’s waist from behind. His chin rested on Xiang Yu’s shoulder, and together they swayed gently from side to side.

"Yu Yu... you are so beautiful," Han Xin murmured, his voice soft.

Xiang Yu smiled a hint of surprise on his face. "Really?"

"Yes, very beautiful," Han Xin affirmed, his palm rubbing Xiang Yu’s stomach lightly.

"Did you find what you were looking for upstairs?" Han Xin asked, curious about Xiang Yu’s earlier absence.

Xiang Yu smiled, recalling his time upstairs, but before he could reply, Lian piped up, "My turn! I want to dance with Master!" She grabbed Xiang Yu’s hands, her eyes sparkling with determination. "We learned to waltz in dance class."

Mei turned to Han Xin with eager eyes. "Brother, can we dance too?"

Han Xin chuckled, "Okay."

What followed was a chaotic yet hilarious scene, as the two grown men found themselves under the watchful eyes of their incredibly controlling dance teachers.

"Move to the left!" one would command, while the other chimed in, "Why is your leg moving like that?"

"Yeah, do you have two left feet?" they teased, their laughter ringing in the air.

Han Xin, unable to take it anymore, interjected with a smile, "How about you teach Old Song and Butler Qing? They need to learn too."

In the end his plan failed. It was now four adults being lectured by two bossy girls, the laughter and joy filling the villa.

Han Zhan knelt in the dark, his hands sifting through the cool sand as he searched for Little Bai’s watch. The beam of the torch on his phone cut through the night, illuminating the grains that shimmered like tiny stars. Behind him, Little Bai stood, his small frame tense and nervous, shifting from foot to foot.

"I can’t find it," Han Zhan said, glancing over his shoulder at the man. "Why are you just standing—"

His voice abruptly halted as Little Bai suddenly pressed his lips against his. The world around them seemed to stop, the sound of the waves fading into silence. Han Zhan’s eyes widened in shock, his mind racing with confusion.

Before he could react, Little Bai pulled away, his cheeks flushed with a mix of embarrassment and exhilaration. Without a word, he turned and dashed back towards the villa, his small feet kicking up sand as he sprinted away. Han Zhan stood there, stunned, a look of bewilderment etched on his face. What the hell just happened?

"Wait! What about the watch?" Han Zhan called after him, but Little Bai was already gone, moving so fast it was as if he was a rabbit escaping into the night.

As the realization dawned on him, Han Zhan slapped his forehead in disbelief. "There is no watch, dummy," he muttered to himself, a soft chuckle escaping his lips. He touched his mouth lightly, where the lingering warmth of Little Bai’s kiss still felt vivid against his skin.

The night felt different now, charged with a new energy. Han Zhan couldn’t help but smile, the confusion melting away into a lighthearted amusement. In his daze, he turned back to the sand, searching for the watch, but he recalled that this sneaky rabbit had tricked him. His heart racing with a mix of surprise and delight he ran back to the villa to catch up with the little thief.
