Chapter 780 - 780: Hitting the Road
Sir M's expression changed slightly. "What's going on?"
"It's turbulence. We've encountered turbulence, so there might be some bumpiness," the pilot replied. "Once we pass through the clouds, it should be fine."
Sir M felt slightly relieved upon hearing this, but still muttered, "Where did you find these half-baked amateurs? You can't provide high-end service like this."
Before his words were completed, the plane shook even harder, as if it were about to fall apart.
Sir M was thrown into an utter daze from the jolts and couldn't help but curse loudly, "Do you even know how to fly?"
After being yelled at repeatedly, the pilot finally snapped and argued back, "Stop shouting, damn it! If you're so capable, why don't you fly it yourself!"
After saying that, as though out of spite, he smashed the window with his elbow, and then jumped out through it.
The three remaining people in the cabin were left dumbfounded.
Ahao, as the ace bodyguard, naturally knew how to fly a plane. However, he worried that if he took the pilot's seat, the girl might pose a threat to his boss.
A ruthless gleam flashed in his eyes, and he decided to eliminate any unstable elements before taking control of the plane. But just then, another strange occurrence happened—the tail of the plane split open.
The luggage stored at the back spilled out with a loud crash.
Had it not been for the safety belts, the three of them would have also been flung out with the luggage.
While Sir M was still in a daze, the JK Girl suddenly unbuckled her seatbelt, and a syringe appeared in her hand as if by magic.
She shouted furiously, "Die for the Pink Whale Smuggling Group!"
After the shout, she ferociously lunged towards Sir M. However, Ahao was quicker and drew an alloy dagger from his waist, striking instantly.
Before the syringe could fall, the girl's head had already flown off, along with her body, out of the plane.
Ahao turned to the still shaken Sir M and said, "Don't leave your seat, Boss. I'll go fly the plane and find a place to land. We'll be safe in no time."
He spoke and then scrambled toward the cockpit, but upon entering, he froze on the spot, drenched in cold sweat.
The place where the joystick was supposed to be was now empty, leaving only a dark hole.
The previous pilot had truly outdone himself; not only had he jumped out, but he had also taken the joystick with him.
Ahao sat blankly in the cockpit, watching helplessly as the plane accelerated downward.
Meanwhile, Yan Wu, who had emerged from the Amazon River, casually dealt with a jaguar lurking by the shore, attempting to scavenge.
Falling straight from thousands of meters above ground, any ordinary person would have been smashed into pulp, but the hardware store owner hadn't even gotten a scratch.
Standing on the shore, he lifted his gaze skyward, and moments later, he saw a detached head and a headless corpse plummeting from the clouds, landing in the rainforest.
Yan Wu didn't rush over immediately. Instead, he walked back a few steps, came to a palm tree, and took down a rubber bag hanging from its branches, slinging it over his back.
Only then did he head toward where the body had fallen. By the time he arrived, the head had already been taken away by some animal, and the remaining headless corpse was hanging on a tree branch.
A green anaconda was eyeing the corpse hungrily.
Yan Wu drove away the anaconda, put down the rubber bag, and spoke, "Come out."
A moment later, the corpse's back suddenly split open, and a large insect crawled out, swiftly burrowing into the other body inside the rubber bag.
That was Diego, a young Mexican boy around seventeen or eighteen years old who had drowned in a border river while attempting to cross illegally, and his corpse had been taken advantage of by Lao Hei.
A short while later, Diego opened his eyes once again, inspecting his body, paying particular attention to between his legs.
"Feels pretty good to grow it back again."
"You prefer being a man?"
"Not necessarily. I just don't want people constantly grabbing my thighs or rubbing my ass."
"Fair enough."
As they spoke, another motorcycle approached. The rider took off his helmet, revealing Chen Zhengyi, dragging a suitcase behind him.
"Did you find the Time Blue Lobster Boss Ma wanted?" Yan Wu asked.
The Rabbit Man nodded. "But the suitcase is encrypted. It can't be opened by brute force. We need Sir M's iris and fingerprints. When I came here, I saw the plane had already crashed southwest."
"So our plan failed?" Lao Hei asked anxiously.
"I don't know. Let's head there to see if Sir M can still be pieced back together. Might as well put out the fire while we're at it—taking care of the environment is everyone's responsibility."
The three squeezed onto the Rabbit Man's motorcycle.
Five minutes later, they reached the crash site, but didn't find any bodies or biological remains there. Instead, a transparent balloon stood silently in the center of the explosion site.
Chen Zhengyi's eyelid twitched. "This is bad!"
He crouched down immediately, but Yan Wu, who was behind him, wasn't so lucky—he was shot in the chest.
Relying on the Werewolf clan's superhuman constitution, the hardware store owner brute-forced his way through the hit.
However, the bullet exploded upon impact on his body.
The blast injured Chen Zhengyi, while Lao Hei, lacking any combat ability, had already fled to hide behind a tree.
Ahao raised his pistol, aiming once again at the prone Chen Zhengyi, ready to finish off his enemy.
But the next moment, a warning flashed in his mind, and he scrambled down from the tree.
As he fell, a bone spike pierced through his previous position.
The sturdy trunk split in half, and a slender figure gracefully landed on the ground.
"Huh, you're pretty quick," she sneered.
Ahao's pupils contracted sharply. "Abyss creature? Why are you here?"
"Of course, to be a corporate slave," another weak-sounding voice replied.
With the activation of the magic circle on the ground, Beigong Meng and her team appeared in the rainforest.
"Who are you people?" Ahao asked with a grim face.
"The Red Ridge Project Team from Hakimi Network Technology Co., Ltd. sends our greetings," Baldy said with cupped fists.
Coconut Jelly pulled out another bone spike and smirked. "The Grand Alliance's top bodyguard, eh? Perfect timing—I've been itching for a real fight lately. Let's see what you've got."
"If you want to hurt Sir M, you'll have to step over my dead body!" Ahao responded resolutely.
But ultimately, he couldn't prevail against them, especially when the blood-soaked hardware store owner joined the fray, leaving Ahao struggling to hold his ground.
Eventually, Chen Zhengyi dislocated both of Ahao's arm joints, and Baldy split his chest with a crimson longsword.
Yan Wu grabbed the still-beating dark red heart in his hand. "You can still surrender right now—it's not worth dying for someone like him."
Ahao shook his head. "I know Sir M isn't a good person, but he saved my life, and I'll never betray him."
"You've got integrity," the hardware store owner praised. "In that case, let me send you on your way."
