Chapter 37: Ch.37 Lily’s Battle(2)

Lily’s eyes contracted as she watched the approaching axe; in a moment, tens of different elemental shields were added.

But the battle axe was like an unstoppable force, tearing through one shield after another without stopping.

She tried to back down using wind magic, but the Axe Aura hindered her movement, not letting her move from her place.

Her eyes turned completely rainbow as the world slowed down; she was accelerating her thinking using an intense amount of elemental energy.

Various thoughts flashed passed her mind as she watched the approaching axe; she knew that if this axe entered her small domain, it wouldn’t be able to fatally injure her.

But she would be injured nonetheless, and that fact was unacceptable to Lily, but no matter how unacceptable it was, she could only face it helplessly.

She felt a little regret in her heart, the regret that she didn’t finish her opponent quicker, but just as soon as the regret came, it was burned away by the flames of anger.

"Domain Of Flowers"

She softly muttered as the world lost color. The domain that was just covering one centimeter of her started to expand.

The sky changed as all the Ascension and the Transcendent rank were dragged into this world. Unlike the illusory world created by Angelia, this world was truly real.

All those floating found themself standing on the ground surrounded by a field of flower. The flower field spanned to infinity as it contained an unknown number of unknown types of flowers.

The sun above the sky changed as it was replaced by a giant glowing sun flower, the clows were floating lotus petals, and the blue sky a collection of blue lily.

The scent of flowers and nature filled the domain as a heaven-like environment was created. This domain was 1km in diameter and covered a wide range.

Kan widened his eyes as the domain unfolded. Even the ferociousness and the murderous intent in his eyes disappeared as it was replaced by fear.

He felt his strength rapidly declining, and after a while, he couldn’t even stand up and fell to the ground.

His hands wielding the axe also lost power as the axe completely missed Lily and flew toward the distance.

The other two ascension rank also feel to the ground as large amount of sweat dripped down their figure.

As for the Transcendent Rank, they were having difficulty even breathing, not just in words but literally. The air they inhaled from breathing was killing them.

Seeing all this, Lily wasn’t happy as she touched her cheek, feeling the warm sensation. She looked at her finger, now covered with her own blood.

Although the beastman had lost power, the momentum of the axe hadn’t weakened, so even if she managed to dodge the axe, the residual energy still managed to hurt her face.

She cast healing magic, and the small wound in her cheek was healed, but in her heart, she wasn’t happy.

But currently, Lily’s focus wasn’t on that as she still looked into the distant horizon. She felt that by injuring herself, she had shamed her lord.

But she still didn’t feel she was wrong in her heart even though her mind was telling her that she was the one who made the mistake.

Lost in thought, she used wind magic and flew back toward the territory. She felt that she must talk to Neo about this and wait for his judgment.

It doesn’t matter to her if it will be a punishment or a reward; she just wishes to talk to Neo about this.

After reaching the territory, she felt Stella’s presence from Neo’s office room. Not caring for that, she entered the office.

"Oh, Lily, you are also back."

He knew she had to fix this mistake but didn’t say her mistake out loud. Thinking for a while, he collected his words as he looked at Lily with a serious look.

His hand grabbed her shoulders, and he held it tightly.

"Look Up!"

Neo spoke in a commanding voice as Lily straightened up her body and looked up. Seeing the serious eyes of Neo looking at her, her eyes dimmed a little.

She knew she would be punished or perhaps even hated by her lord for the fact that she allowed other beings to touch her body.

So, with fear in her eyes, she waited, waited for Neo’s words. Her heart was beating rapidly due to her rising tension.

"Do you know your mistake?"

Neo asked as he looked straight into Lily’s eyes.

"Yes, My Lovely lord.."

"I let someone else than you touch my body.."

Lily spoke in a very weak voice as tears started to fall down her eyes. Stella watched this from the side as her eyes twitched a little.

It seems her sister still hadn’t completely understood her dearest lord.

"No!"

Neo shouted as he flicked her smooth forehead.

"Your mistake was giving others the opportunity to hurt you."

"In a battle of near equals, you wanted to play with your opponent."

"That’s your mistake."

"This time, you survived, but if you continue this behavior, it may lead to your death."

Neo then took a deep breath and hugged her tightly, his voice becoming softer than ever as he continued.

"Do you understand how much you Valkyrie’s mean to me?"

"Your life is as valuable as mine for me."

"If such foolishness leads to your death, do you understand how much it will hurt my heart?"

"So play with those weaker than you as much as you like, but when fighting those equal to you or stronger than you, don’t give them an opportunity to hurt you."

"Do you understand?"

"My Precious Valkyries."

After saying that, Neo stopped his words as he continued to hug Lily. Stella and Lily were stunned after hearing Neo’s words, and their hearts started to roar.

The love in their heart became almost uncontrollable as Stella pounced on Neo and hugged him tightly.

Lily also wrapped her arms around his body as she used all her force as if to merge with Neo’s body.
