Chapter 36: Ch.36 Lily’s Battle

After getting her lord’s words, Lily flew without even talking to Stella. Putting the magics on herself like ’Fly’, ’Accelerate’, ’Wind Blessing’, and so many others, her speed continued to increase.

Although not as fast as Stella, she still reached half of Stella’s maximum speed. Without even thinking about it, she flew to the east.

The aura on the axe roared as the sea of flames was split in half; the Transcendent rank behind were protected by the fox man as they couldn’t even participate in this battle.

Lily watched her attack being easily solved with a calm expression as she raised her staff; it glowed with green light, and a shield covered her body.

Clank!!

The sound of metal clashing was heard as her shield broke, but the dagger that was meant for her neck also stopped in its track.

The cat man widened his eyes as he watched in horror as the tip of the staff was pointed in his face.

"Dark Flames of the Poison Lily."

Lily muttered as dark flames consumed the cat man’s body. He screamed in pain as he backed down. Lily was about to follow up on her attack, but had to stop as an axe was approaching her face.

"Annoying."

Lily muttered as she looked at Kan, who was swinging his axe wildly, her staff glowing with blue, green, and brown light.

"Forest in the sea!"

She muttered as water started to rise under Kan’s leg. He was quickly drowned by the water as he tried to split the water with his axe.

But before he could do that, plants started to sprout on the water as wooden chains bound his figure.

"HAAAA!!!"

He shouted as his muscles bulged to the extreme. He broke free from the wooden chains, but new chains bound him the next second.

Lily continued to put more energy into this magic as she was creating a dose of a powerful but painful magic.

She had a few magic spells that could kill this beastman instantly, but for her, there was no fun in it. If she couldn’t torture her pray, would she even be Lily.

On the side, the cat man was still crying in pain. The flames weren’t the biggest problem, but the poison that was trying to shut down his nervous system.

The fox man cast various cures and healing magic as the flames disappeared, and the cat man also stopped screaming as the poison in his body was being suppressed.

Suddenly, both of their eyes turned toward the battlefield as they saw the unfavorable situation of Kan.

If they don’t act quickly, Kan may die soon. Seeing the situation, the gloom on their faces deepened as the cat man disappeared into the shadows.

A figure stepped out from the shadow behind Kan as he kicked him on the back, sending him flying forward.

As if all of this was planned, Kan appeared in front of Lily with a ferocious face as his axe covered with his murderous intent and Axe aura fell down on Lily.
