Chapter 89: We Killed Someone

Shen Yi looked at the room and decided to check again if everything was in place.

Since Mu Chen apartment was bigger than hers, she decided to surprised him there, the idea came to her when he gave her a key to his apartment last week.

The light to the room was off and it was filled with scented candles. Shen Yi went to the bathroom and looked at the mirror, she felt nervous because she was only wearing a robe and underneath the robe was just her underwear, she has decided to gift him herself. Tonight was not only Mu Chen’s birthday but it was also a start of a new beginning in their relationship.

She smiled when she heard as the living room door open and checked herself once again in the mirror before coming out of the bathroom. She took the cake she baked for Mu Chen and waited in front of the bedroom door and as soon as the door was opened she shouted "Happy Birthday!"

Mu Chen was first startled when he heard someone screamed happy birthday to him. He saw that it was Zhou Xi and sighed "You remembered?"

"Of course I remembered, how do you think I would forget your birthday?" Zhou Xi asked in a pout.

Mu Chen smiled and said "You behaved as if you didn’t care when we were at the filming site, so you can’t blame me for being this surprised."

"I only did that because I wanted to surprise you. I even bake a cake."

Instead of looking at the cake that Zhou Xi was holding, Mu Chen gaze focused on the robe Zhou Xi was wearing and asked "Is the cake the only thing I’m getting for my birthday?"

At Zhou Xi silence, Mu Chen worked closer to her and collected the cake from her hand and place it on a table, he walked back to her and held the rope of the robe, he looked at her eyes for permission and when she nodded, he loose the rope.

Zhou Xi felt exposed after the robe was loose but it did not matter because this was what she wanted, Mu Chen was the man she loved and finally she was going to be with him like she has always dreamed of.

Mu Chen pulled off her robe and saw her in nothing but her underwea. To be honest, Zhou Xi was beautiful, he would have made her his real girlfriend if she had the resources to support his career. Zhou Xi was just temporary but seeing her like this, he wondered if he should make her a permanent person in his life.

Mu Chen silence made Zhou Xi to become nervous so taking matters into her own hands, she pressed her lips to his and said "My gift to you tonight is myself, do you not like it?"

"I love it. It is the best birthday gift anyone has ever given me." Mu Chen said with a smile and kissed her. As he kissed her, his hands moved to unclasped her bra, he raised her up and walked towards his bed.

Zhou Xi felt a feeling she has never felt before as Mu Chen kissed all over her, it was indeed a special night for her. As her and Mu Chen became one, Zhou Xi felt like all her decision to this date were worth it and nothing will ever be able to separate her from him again.

Meng Ziyi chewed on her nails as she looked at the pregnancy stick staring at her. She could not believe that it was positive. Her lips curled into a smile as she pressed her hand to her belly, she was having his child. Now not even her family will be able to opposed her relationship with him, she and Mu Chen will be together and she will finally be able to put that wretched Zhou Xi in her place.

Lin An could not wait to leave the hospital, thankfully he was getting discharged in the morning, closing his eyes to catch some sleep, he heard the door of his ward opened and heard as the footsteps walked towards his bed side.

"I know you are not asleep."

At the sound of a familiar voice, Lin An opened his eyes and saw Li Lingyun staring at him coldly.

"I never knew you love me so much that you will wish to visit me by this time." Lin An said with a smile.

"Stop being sarcastic and answer me this, what video does Zi Xia has of Lin Yan?"

Lin An smile fade away as he asked "Do you still not trust my sister?"

"Give me an answer Lin An."

"Zi Xia is just crazy, there is no video."

"Fine, let’s say she lied about the video but she looked very sure when she claimed that both you and Lin Yan did something very terrible as kids."

"She spoke to you?"

"Yes but her original intention was to speak to Li Jun. She claimed she had something important to tell him about his ex-wife. I had to convince her to tell me about it first and also had to lied that Li Jun had gone for a business trip and he won’t be back until after a week, so I want you to tell me what crazy and terrible thing you and Lin Yan did as kids"

Lin An suddenly let out a smile "Do you really want to know?"

"Don’t mess with me Lin An."

"When we were kids, we killed someone." Lin An said as his eyes became cold.

Li Lingyun was surprised for a moment before he asked "Who?"

Lin An shrugged and said "Our stepfather." He looked at Li Lingyun and asked "Does that make you scare?"

"Is that question supposed to be funny?" Li Lingyun replied and then ask "Was he a bastard?"

"The worst of his kind."

"And is Zi Xia your only loose end?"

"Yes she is, but don’t worry, I will handle it." Lin An answered with a confident smile on his face.

Li Lingyun stared at Lin An silently for a few seconds before saying "You have one week to handle her or I will do it myself."

Lin An nodded with a sinister smiled on his face as he said "You are actually more scarier than I thought, but I’m glad I get to have a rich, cool and scary brother-in-law."

Li Lingyun scoffed and said "And you are actually more crazier than I thought."

After Li Lingyun left, Lin An laid on his bed and wondered which method would be the best in getting rid of his loose end.
