Chapter 64: A Man To Tame Her.

Meanwhile at the hospital, the doctor asked everyone one to leave the room so he could treat Fang Min and with a worried face Li Jun begged the doctor to save his child.

After the family members left, Fang Min grabbed the doctor hand and said "Don’t tell them anything, just save my child."

The doctor sigh and said "I warned you to avoid stress. It will be a miracle if the child survive."

Fang Min groaned in pain and said "After all that money I gave you, you better make sure that miracle happens." She hissed when she was given an injection before losing conciousness.

Outside of the hospital door, Li Jun looked at his hands that was stained with Fang Min blood and prayed for the survival of both his wife and child.

Thinking of the event that happened in the wedding made his anger to rise and he wondered who could have done it. Was it Lin An? He was the only one that could have been able to get a video that Lin Yan recorded. But he knew Lin An was already at home during his wedding so someone else did it, but who?

Li Jun did not know who was responsible for his wife and child condition but what he knew for certain was that the moment he discovered the person that ruin his wedding then he was going to make that person wish that he was never alive.

"I feel like writing #redwedding on my social media." Lin Yan said with a smile.

"Do that and everyone will suspect you." Lin An replied.

"True. I’m just happy that Li Lingyun still wants to stay with me even after knowing everything."

Lin An was silent for a while before saying "Don’t forget your promise to me."

"Of course I won’t."

Lin An sighed in relief when he heard his sister replied. He had made Lin Yan to promise him that she would be happy after getting her revenge and she wouldn’t take her revenge too far.

Although Lin An act as though he was not worried about Lin Yan ways of getting revenge but the truth was, he was extremely worried. He still remembered how she got her revenge on one of her high school class mate who was always bullying her.

Although she claimed it was a mistake but Lin An never told his sister that he saw her, he saw as Lin Yan pushed that girl down the stairs and it was definitely not a mistake.

If he hadn’t dug up dirt on the girl father, then his sister would have gone to jail and luckily the girl only had a minor injury. Thinking of the past made him extremely worried, he wondered to what length Lin Yan would go for her revenge. Perhaps it was best that Li Lingyun found out the truth and maybe, just maybe, he would be able to tame her.

"Do you think I should go to the hospital?"

Lin An came out of his thought when he heard Lin Yan question and asked "Yes but don’t go alone, go with Li Lingyun."

"Li Lingyun left after dropping me home, he said he had something to take care of."

"Then wait for him. Go to the hospital only with him."

Lin Yan sighed and nodded.

"Have you seen the news?" Grandpa Li asked angrily

"Not yet grandpa." Li Lingyun replied calmly as he stood in front of his grandfather.

"I don’t understand who will have the guts to go against the Li Family? Who would dare to humiliate our family just like that? Haven’t you find anything yet?"

"No, not yet. But it could be one of Li Jun enemies. You know he has a lot." Li Lingyun said.

"The Li Family humiliation cannot go unpunished. Find the person who did this and make them pay for it."

"Yes, grandpa."

Li Lingyun sighed when he entered the car and asked "Have you found the person?"

Gu Wei who was in the driver seat handed a document to Li Lingyun and said "His name is Pei Xuan. He once threatened to ruin Li Jun life when he lost everything so everyone knows that he hates Li Jun."

"Why did Li Jun fire him from the company?" Li Lingyun ask as turned the pages of the document.

"He found out that Pei Xuan was embezzling money from the company."

Li Lingyun paused and looked at Gu Wei before asking "What’s the real reason?"

"They both had a falling out because for some reason Pei Xuan believe that Li Jun betrayed him."

"Betrayed him? In what?"

"Pei Xuan runs a prostitution ring, but it is hidden, no one knows of it."

Li Lingyun frowned as he continued to read the document and said "He kidnapped the girls and force them to become prostitute. Are you telling me that Li Jun was a part of this?"

Gu Wei was silent as he drove the car, even him was shocked by the discovery.

"He has no wife or children." Li Lingyun stated and then he felt a vibration on his phone. He sighed and answer the call.

After answering the call the first thing he heard was a loud cry and Li Lingyun could guess why she was crying but still he asked gently "Why are you crying?"

Hearing his gentle tone made Gu Wei to already guess that he was talking to the little miss.

Li Xiao who was crying loudly said "You left grandpa house without seeing me or taking me with you."

"I have a lot to do that’s why I left you with your grandpa and besides I didn’t see you because if I had then I would definitely have taken you with me. I have told you to not cry when I’m not with you, what if you get sick? Do you know how worried I get whenever you get sick?"

"I won’t get sick." Li Xiao immediately said and stopped crying. She didn’t like her dad getting worried because of her.

"Then stop crying. I promise to pick you up from grandpa tomorrow."

"Really?"

"Really. Now go to sleep."

"Good night daddy."

"Good night princess."

Li Lingyun ended the call and called nanny Bao and said "Ensure Li Xiao is sleeping right now and also take away her phone."

After the call ended, Li Lingyun looked at Gu Wei and said "Do you know that old man threatened me with custody of my own daughter."

Gu Wei wasn’t actually surprised, he simply said "It’s not the first time and I doubt if it will be the last."

Li Lingyun scoffed and said "Put all blame on Pei Xuan. I believe you’ve already started?"

"Yes sir."

Li Lingyun smiled, one reason he liked Gu Wei was because of his efficiency to get the the work done.

"All trace of Madam Li has been wipe, so even if they check they won’t see anything."

Li Lingyun nodded as another thought invaded his mind.

Gu Wei on the other hand, wondered why Shen Yi did what she did on Li Jun wedding. He has always carried orders without asking question but right now he really wanted to asked but he kept his curiosity to himself.
