Li Lingyun bought Shen Yi home and laid her on the bed. He removed her shoes and covered her with a duvet.

To be honest, he knew that she wasn’t having an affair but yet he accused her of it because that was the only way he could explain her relationship with Lin An.

After speaking to Lin An, he realized that both him and Shen Yi has a connection together and it wasn’t that of lovers, there was something else between the two of them and he would do anything to find out what that connection is.

"Your future daughter-in-law is a terrible actress and I don’t like her." Li Qiu said as he passed a glass of wine to Wang Hua.

"At least she takes my side. I will chose her any day over that barren Lin Yan."

Li Qiu smiled and said "Why did you hate Lin Yan so much?"

"There was no reason for me to like a poor girl like her. She married my son for money and yet she couldn’t even give him a child."

"Is that why you killed her?"

Wang Hua who was about to drink her wine froze. "What? I didn’t kill her."

"Not directly. Apart from tormenting her emotionally and mentally, you were the one who gave Fang Min the idea of getting rid of Lin Yan."

"And so what if I did? I got rid of a problem and now there is Shen Yi."

Li Qiu chuckled and said "You have no idea what you have done, do you? Lin Yan was the best wife for Li Jun. You didn’t see it but I did, there was a smart and dangerous woman behind that quiet and submissive nature she put on. You got rid of the only woman who could have helped Li Jun in getting the company."

"We still have Fang Min."

"Fang Min is an idiot, don’t you see that. Rather than coming up with useless plans with Fang Min, you should ensure that Li Lingyun divorces Shen Yi."

Wang Hua frowned and asked "Why?"

"Because she was able to take Greenville hotel from you, she was able to make Li Lingyun transfer that hotel to her name and after what I saw today I’m certain if Shen Yi and Li Lingyun don’t separate, she would pose as a big problem for my Li Jun in the future."

"Li Lingyun won’t divorce the mother of his child."

"Then think of something Wang Hua, use your brain. Don’t forget, that was the only reason I allowed you to marry my son."

Wang Hua lower her eyes and said "Yes father."

Lin Yan felt immersed headache when she opened her eyes "My head hurts so much Lin An."

Where was her brother? Lin Yan asked herself until she noticed that she was actually in her room but how did she come back to Sun Villa, did Lin An actually allowed her to drive in her state.

She took her phone and called her brother and when the call went through she asked "I thought you said you loved me then how could you allow me to go back home drunk. What if something had happened to me?"

"Nothing would have happened to you because you did not drive back home. I called Li Lingyun to come pick you up."

Lin Yan widened her eyes and asked "Why did you call him?"

"If you have slept overnight at my place then your situation with Li Lingyun would have worsen." Lin An explained calmly.

Lin Yan scratch her hair and said "That’s true."

"By the way do you remember what you did last night, you were so embarrassing."

"What did I do?"

"Should I tell you? Say Please."

"Lin An!"

Lin An laughed and said "One moment you were calling Li Lingyun name and the next moment you started crying so loudly that I thought you would wake up all the neighbors. You should have seen his face, he was terrified."

Lin Yan used her hand to hit her head "Why did you call him over when you knew I was drunk? How could you do this to your own sister. Now how can I face him?"

Lin An smiled when he heard his sister ranting and said "He also kissed you."

"What?"

"You were asking him not to leave you and then he kissed you. I hate the fact that I am saying this but Lin Yan, why don’t you give your relationship with Li Lingyun a try."

Lin Yan was shocked for a brief moment before asking "Why the sudden change of heart? You told me to ensure that I don’t get involved with him but now you want me to give my relationship with him a chance."

"Because I want you to experience true love." Lin An said with a sad smile in his eyes. One of the reason he called Li Lingyun over to his place was because he wanted to see if Li Lingyun could love his sister the way she deserved. Seeing the way he spoke to her when she was drunk, he was sure that Li Lingyun could love her.

Lin Yan was silent, she remembered telling her brother what their mother said to her before she died. "I can’t believe you took what I told you seriously."

"Li Lingyun is a dangerous man, however a man like that only love once."

"What makes you think that he hasn’t been in love before."

Lin An smiled and said "If he had then he would never have looked at you the way he did. I approve of him."

Lin Yan smiled, she had been married to Li Jun for three years and yet her brother has never approved of him.

"By the way, shouldn’t you be learning how to manage the hotel."

Lin Yan widened her eyes and said "I will call you back later."

Just then, Lin Yan heard a knock on the door and after giving permission for the person to come in, a maid came in and said "Breakfast is ready ma."

Lin Yan nodded and said "Is Li Lingyun downstairs?"

"No ma. Mr. Li went to work early this morning."

Lin Yan frowned and asked "What about Li Xiao?"

"Miss Li is still in bed, however Mr.Li left a message concerning the little miss."

"What message?"

"He said that little miss should be drop off at the old mansion."

Does that mean she has to see that old man. He must have already heard about what happened last night, she wondered what he will do.
