Meanwhile in the Li corporation conference room, a meeting was going on and It was obvious to everyone that Li Lingyun was in a bad mood.

"Are you done?"

The man who has just finished his proposal swallow his spit before saying "Yes sir."

"If you were me would you have accepted that nonesense. I gave you two months to come up with something and this was all you came up with."

And suddenly a phone rang, disturbing the silence of the room.

"I thought I told everyone to switch off their phone." Li Lingyun said calmly but everyone could feel the anger in those words.

The board members were already feeling sorry for whoever it was that forgot to switch off their phone. All eyes went to Gu Wei because they noticed the sound was coming from him.

Gu Wei calmly removed the phone from his pocket and pass it to Li Lingyun.

Li Lingyun took it and saw that it was a message from Shen Yi. He opened the message and saw a picture of both Shen Yi and Li Xiao in matching outfit and without noticing his lips curve into a smile.

Gu Wei looked at all the share holders shocked expression and cleared his throat loudly.

Li Lingyun took noticed of the stares he was getting from his employees and his expression immediately became cold as he said "You have one week to bring me a new proposal and never waste my time as you did today."

Li Lingyun stood up and left the conference room and Gu Wei followed after him. Li Jun on the other hand narrowed his eyes when Li Lingyun left. His uncle was someone that rarely smiled except if he was with Li Xiao but he wondered if Li Xiao was really the person behind that smile or was it someone else.

"I never knew expected you to be here, Mrs. Li."

Lin Yan turned and rolled her eyes when she saw Fang Min.

"Do I need your permission to shop for clothes?"

Fang Min smiled and said "Of course not. I was only shocked to run into you. You know I went to the doctor a few days ago and guess what?" Fang Min placed her hand on her slightly bump belly and said "It’s a boy. I’m sure old master Li will be glad to finally have a little heir."

"Are you done? I’m in no mood for your nonesense. Congrats on your baby boy. Li Xiao let’s go." Lin Yan said as was about to leave, when Fang Min held her arms and said "If only you did not always take that wretched Lin Yan side every time then we could have been friends."

Lin Yan freed herself from Fang Min and said "Why would I want to ever be friends with a homewrecker like you. Just because you are not behind bars that doesn’t mean you are safe forever. When you sleep alone at night don’t you wonder if her spirit is sleeping beside you, waiting to hear the cry of your baby before she takes it. It would be a nice compensation for Lin Yan spirit, after all she was without child and it is only fair that she takes something from you just the way you took something from her."

Lin Yan mood improved when she saw the fear in Fang Min eyes.

She walked towards Li Xiao who was playing with the staff.

Li Xiao looked at her mother and asked "Can we buy something for daddy as well."

Lin Yan nodded and they both went to the men section where a male staff assisted them. Lin Yan wondered if she should buy him a suit but she was sure he already had enough. Maybe some casual clothes would be good.

Lin Yan bought a lot of casual clothing for Li Lingyun and as she was about to leave the men section, a watch caught her attention. She was sure he had a lot of watches but she wanted to buy this one for him. She asked the staff to get the watch for her and paid with her own card instead of the black card Li Lingyun gave to her.

Li Lingyun on the other hand kept looking at the picture Shen Yi sent to him until he received a call from Old Master Li.

"Hello grandpa."

"I hope you are taking the day off tomorrow. I don’t want you working on my granddaughter’s birthday."

"You know I have never worked on Li Xiao birthday and no, her birthday is not taking place at the old mansion, I know that is the real reason you called me."

"But why won’t her birthday take place here."

"Because then, grandma will say it isn’t fair and then demand for me to celebrate Li Xiao birthday at the Meng mansion and that is why i am having the celebration at Greenville hotel."

"You do know that Wang Hua will cause a huge scene once she finds out that the hotel is in Shen Yi name, right?"

"I can handle Wang Hua."

"Will you handle her the same way you handled Long Tian?"

Li Lingyun sighed and said "Long Tian caused his own demise by messing with my daughter and wife."

"Aren’t you getting too protective of that wife of yours?"

"Shen Yi is my wife, I’m suppose to be protective of her."

"I don’t like it. The only reason I tolerated her was because Li Xiao still wanted her. Do you really think I didn’t know that she was having her affair?"

Li Lingyun clenched the pen in his hands tightly as he said "She ended it and I’m very busy grandpa so good bye."

Just as he ended the call, he heard a knock on his door and said "Come in."

Gu Wei came in and said "Just as you asked, I found the person who bought Long Tian shares."

Li Lingyun nodded and asked "Who was that?"

"It was Miss Su."

Li Lingyun looked at Gu Wei in surprised and asked "Su Yin?"

"Yes sir. It was her who bought Long Tian shares."
