Lin Yan stood in front of Li Lingyun office for some few seconds, she took in a deep breath before knocking and when she heard his deep voice asking her to come in, she opened the door and saw him immerse with his work without even raising his head to see who just entered his office.

Gu Wei who was standing beside Li Lingyun cleared his throat and said "Good afternoon madam."

After hearing Gu Wei greeting, Li Lingyun raised his head from the pile of document on his desk and looked at Shen Yi. The first thought that came to his mind was that she was very beautiful but there was something else, he didn’t know what it was but something was off with the way she was looking at him.

Li Lingyun gave the document he was signing to Gu Wei and said "Find out who bought Long Tian shares and postponed the meeting for half an hour. And also, I do not want to be disturb."

Li Lingyun stood up from his chair and asked "What makes you think I did it?"

"And your part in it?" Lin Yan asked coldly.

"Then what about the homeroom teacher, what happened to her?"

"Since she fed Li Xiao with drugs, I did the same to her, for seven days before releasing her."

Realization flashed on Shen Yi face as she said "You made her addicted to drugs."

"Does that makes you scared of me?" Li Lingyun asked, he didn’t know why but he badly wanted her to say no. He has never cared about what anyone thought of him not even Shen Yi in the past but now, he didn’t want her to see him as a monster.

Was she scared of him? Surprisedly, she was not. She must have lost her mind if not why does she believe him when he said he had no part in what happened to Long Tian? Why is it that she found nothing wrong in him making the homeroom teacher addicted to drugs?

Lin Yan looked into Li Lingyun eyes and asked "If I were to one day cross you, will you get rid of me as well?"

"Your question implies that you still think I had something to do with what happened to Long Tian and no, I will never harm you."

"Are you trying to take advantage of me?"

"How does asking my girlfriend and wife to kiss me, a sign of me taking advantage of her."

It doesn’t matter it’s just a kiss, with that thought, Lin Yan tiptoed and kiss him, she imitated the way he would always kiss her. She bit his lower lips gently and use her tongue to soothe his lips. It was then she felt Li Lingyun hands round her waist and his other hand held her face as he took control of the kiss. He force her mouth to open and played with her tongue before sucking on it.

Hearing Shen Yi moans made him want to devoured her right now and there. The way she was returning his kiss with so much passion nearly drove him to the edge and he was about pulling her shirt when his phone rang.

Li Lingyun stopped the kiss and whispered "Give me a moment." He walked to his desk and answered the call "Gu Wei, I’m going to kill you if what you are about to tell me is not important."

"It is sir."

"Speak"

"The shareholders are already waiting for you?"

"I thought I postponed the meeting for thirty minutes."

"Thirty minutes is already up sir" Gu Wei said, he felt as if he had interrupted something.

"I will be right there." Li Lingyun cut the call and said "Sometimes I hate him."

Shen Yi smiled and asked "Because he is very professional? I will like to have some one like Gu Wei by my side."

"I can find one for you if you want."

"No need for that, I need to first learn how the hotel works."

Li Lingyun nodded but before he could say something, his phone rang again.

"I think you should start going, before Gu Wei blow your phone with calls."

Li Lingyun chuckled and said "It isn’t Gu Wei, it’s my cousin Meng Ying. When ever he calls me, it is either his credit card has been frozen and he needs money or he’s gotten himself into trouble and needs someone to bail him out."

Li Lingyun answered the call and before he could even speak, he heard Meng Ying voice saying "I need your help."

"I know. What happened this time and please tell me I don’t need to bail you out of jail."

"No that is not it."

"Then what? Are you alright, you sound very anxious."

"Big brother Zhu is very angry with Meng Ziyi. He even slapped her and you know how he gets when he is angry, he only listens to you."
