After Li Jun left Fang Min room to see his daughter, Fang Min heard a knock on her door and before she could even give the person the permission to come in, the door opened and her mother came in.

"I saw the angry look in Li Jun face when he stepped out of your room. Do you mind telling me what happened?"

With tears threatening to come out of her eyes, Fang Min said "I don’t think Li Jun loves me anymore. He even threatened to cut off my tongue just because I said it would have been better for Li Xiao to have died."

Fang Cai sighed softly and said "Do you know who Li Xiao is? Her status is even more important than Wang Hua, your future mother-in-law. You should never have said that to Li Jun."

"You are saying that Li Jun is afraid of that little girl."

"I am saying that every member of the Li family including Li Jun care for that little girl. That girl is the light of the Li family."

"Then what about my daughter! What about my unborn son! Are we nothing in place of Shen Yi and her daughter. If things continue like this then nothing will be left for Fang Mei and i. I have a feeling that the old man will give everything to Li Lingyun and his daughter."

"That is why you must give birth to a son. A son that the old man will love more than Li Xiao. He didn’t watch Fang Mei grow up, so you should not be surprised that he has no feelings for the girl. But your unborn child will change everything." Fang Cai said as she held Fang Min hands.

Fang Min remove her hands forcefully from her mother’s and shouted "The child will change nothing! All Li Jun still thinks about is Lin Yan. I got rid of her but it is as if she’s still there trying her best to torment me."

"Fang Min, what is wrong with you. You are beginning to act crazy. Lin Yan is dead and you had nothing to do with it, you should never forget that." Fang Cai said as she held Fang Min arms tightly. "Stop acting like a mad woman and get yourself under control. I don’t know what is making you to act up but whatever it is, ensure you get rid of it and come back to your senses. Get some rest sweetheart." Fang Cai kissed her daughter forehead and left the room.

Fang Min tears fell when her mother left the room. Even her did not know why she was acting this way but one thing she knew for sure was that after she killed Lin Yan, she could see hatred in Li Jun eyes whenever he looks at her. He has tried to hide it but she could still see it. Her Li Jun was drifting away from her and she didn’t know what to do. Then she placed her hands on her belly and suddenly smile. Yes! After she give birth to a son then Li Jun will love her again, there was nothing to be worried about.

After getting permission from his aunt, Li Lingyun and Shen Yi bought Li Xiao back home though she was still asleep. It was already evening when they arrived at Sun Villa, so they were sure that before Li Xiao would wake up it would be tomorrow.

Li Lingyun placed her on her bed and put her favorite stuffed animal that was a bear close to her, then he kissed her forehead and whispered "I’m sorry. I should have protected you more. I promise you that this will never happen again."

Lin Yan smiled looking at the scene and said "Li Xiao is so lucky. I’m sure she is very happy that you are her father."

Li Lingyun smiled and asked "Do you want a drink?"

Lin Yan nodded, she needed it.

They both went downstairs and Li Lingyun bought out a expensive wine from his bar and poured both of them a glass as they sat at the dining table.

Lin Yan tasted the wine and said "It’s good."

"It was a gift. So, tell me how was your meeting? Am I giving you the hotel or not?" Li Lingyun asked.

"Of course you are giving it to me. Don’t worry, I assure you that by tomorrow, they would have all accepted the compensation."

Li Lingyun sipped his wine and looked at Shen Yi with a watchful gaze and said "It’s surprising."

"What is?"

"How we are able to stay together at a table without biting each other head off."

Lin Yan winced and asked "Did we fight a lot?"

"You ask as if you don’t remember how many times you have annoyed me."

Lin Yan frowned "Annoyed you? You are the one always threatening to kill me."

"Because you were annoying me." Li Lingyun retorted.

Lin Yan scoffed and finish the wine in her glass and then she refilled her glass.

Li Lingyun who was watching her actions suddenly asked "Can you hold your liquor?"

"Why? I don’t look like it." Lin Yan said, trying to brag but the truth is she could feel herself already getting drunk.

Li Lingyun chuckled and said "I saw a new side to my wife today."

"A new side?" Lin Yan asked confusingly.

Li Lingyun leaned towards her and whispered teasingly "I didn’t know my wife was a cry baby."

Lin Yan face went red when he said that. "I’m not a cry baby. I was only worried about Li Xiao, that was why I was crying so much."

Li Lingyun laughed and said "I didn’t asked for the explanation."

"But...."

Since he was close to her, Li Lingyun peck her on her lips and said "It doesn’t matter, because you are still cute and beautiful."

He was doing it again. He was making her heart to race again. But what exactly was wrong with her, it has not been long her heart was beating for Li Jun and now she felt like Li Lingyun was driving her crazy, because she likes it whenever he kiss her, there was no use lying to herself, she wanted him. She wanted him for herself and a part of her wondered if she and Li Lingyun could be happy together. And then she remembered the question Li Lingyun asked her. She remembered when he asked her if she would date him and she didn’t really give him an answer.

Li Lingyun could see that his wife was in thought and he wondered what she was thinking about, as he was about to ask, he heard her saying "Will you be my boyfriend?"
