Lin Yan woke up with a smile on her face, she felt no regrets on what happened yesterday. It made her to wondered if she could start a new relationship with Li Lingyun but would that really be alright? Her phone rang and she saw that it was a call from Mrs Shang, she answered and heard her saying "I was able to set up a meeting for you with Bo Cheng."

"He agreed to see me?"

Li Lingyun came out of his thought when Li Xiao shouted "Uncle Si."

Li Lingyun looked behind him and saw Si Yan approaching.

Si Yan sat down beside Li Xiao and carry her in his arms, he looked at Shen Yi and ignore her, then he said to Li Lingyun "I was able to close the contract with SC corporation."

Lin Yan called Bo Cheng and they agreed to meet each other at a restaurant.

She saw a waiter and said "I made a reservation for two under the name Shen Yi."

The waiter nodded and said "The gentleman is already waiting for you, just go that way."

Lin Yan went to the place the waiter directed to her and she saw the back of a man. She walked forward and said "Sorry, I’m late. I had to drop my daughter at school."

"Daughter?" Bo Cheng asked. He was actually surprised that such a young and beautiful woman would already have a kid.

Lin Yan could see the surprised in his face as she said "Yes, daughter. Have you ordered anything yet."

"No. I’m fine."

Lin Yan nodded.

"So what did you want to talk about?" Bo Cheng asked.

Lin Yan looked at Bo Cheng and asked "Don’t you already know why I set up this meeting. I want you to make the people to agree to leave their house and take the compensation."

"And why would I do that? The people have no real benefit of leaving their house."

"They are given enough money to move into another house and to start a new life there. What other real benefit are you talking about?"

"The compensation isn’t enough."

Lin Yan frowned and said "It isn’t enough? Are you serious?" And then a realization dawn on her and she said "You want your own share."

"Do you feel I don’t deserve it. I have been protecting that neighborhood for years and yet whenever a profit comes they forget me." Bo Cheng said.

"You are a lawyer, right?"

"Yes I am."

"Whenever you get paid, do you share your salary with them. No right? So why will they share their profit with you. Aren’t you being a little bit selfish and I thought your grandmother live in that neighborhood."

Bo Cheng smirk and said "I like you."

"Don’t."

"If you need my help then just agree to my demand."

"And what are your demands?"

Bo Cheng smiled, he was really intrigued by this woman. Perhaps after the deal they can have a more interesting relationship, he definitely didn’t mind being her lover. Bo Cheng shook Lin Yan hand and said "Deal."
