Lin An looked at the young girl in front of him, he knew she deserved better but that didn’t stop him from moving closer to her and pressing his lip to hers. He kissed her softly and when their kissed ended, Jingyui smiled and asked "Is that a yes?"

Lin An laughed softly and said "It’s a yes."

"Who is happy to be one year old?" Lin Yan asked Li Hui who was continuously laughing as she tickle him. She raised him up in her arms and continuously gave him kisses.

"Mummy!! I also want my kisses." Lin Yan turned to looked at Li Xiao who was already pouting and smiled, she putted Li Hui down on the floor and carried Li Xiao showering her with kisses as well.

She putted a laughing Li Xiao down and said "Wow, you look so pretty today."

Li Xiao cheek became red as she said "Nanny Bao helped me with my makeup."

"She did a really nice job. I don’t think I have ever seen a princess as pretty as you before."

"Really? Does that mean that I am even more prettier than Cinderella?"

Lin Yan smiled and said "She doesn’t even hold a candle to my Li Xiao." She kissed Li Xiao forehead and said "Play with your brother while I go check on your dad."

Lin Yan was about to leave when she turned back and smiled as she saw Li Xiao playing with Li Hui.

Lin Yan went to look for Li Lingyun in the room but did not find him there and decided to checked his study and there he was working.

She entered his study and asked "I thought we implemented a no working policy on the children’s birthday?"

Li Lingyun smiled and stood up from the desk as he said "Indeed we did, I was just making sure very thing was going to be ready for tonight."

Lin Yan smiled and asked "What’s happening tonight?"

"It’s a surprise." Li Lingyun replied and kissed her forehead.

"Speaking about surprised, who would have thought that Lin An would propose to Jiang Jingyui yesterday. I always knew he was falling for her." Lin Yan said with a smile.

"It’s good Jiang Jingyui accepted, no offense to your brother but he’s quite a difficult one."

Lin Yan chuckled and said "But he is a good person and I love him."

Li Lingyun smiled and nodded, he looked at Lin Yan for moment and carress her cheek as he said "I love you Lin Yan. Thank you for coming into my life."

Lin Yan smiled and kissed his hand as sh said "You are the one I should be thanking for coming and staying in my life and very soon we are going to get married. I love you very much Li Lingyun."

Li Lingyun smiled and embraced her tightly, he looked at her and said "I spoke to the doctor today, he said there is still a chance of Li Jun waking up from his coma."

Lin Yan sighed and said "I’m glad if that’s the case."

"Now, let’s go see what our prince and princess are up to."

Lin Yan smiled at the thought of her mischievous children and thought to herself that she was going to protect this, her marriage, her husband and her children. And as long as she was around, she would ensure that no harm would ever come to them.
