Lin Yan arrived at Xicheng mountain in less than thirty minutes. There was a long stairway that we take you to the top of the mountain and as Lin Yan climbed further she could sight Shen Yi holding a little baby on her arms.

Although her feet were already hurting her, Lin Yan continued climbing until she reached the top and she saw as Shen Yi was pointing a gun to Li Hui and beside her was an old woman.

As Lin Yan wanted to rush forward to her child Shen Yi shouted "If you come forward then I will shoot."

"What do you think you are doing!" Lin Yan shouted.

Shen Yi looked at the old woman besides her and said "Putting things back to it’s rightful place."

"What?"

"The woman beside me is a Shaman and you know what she’s going to do?" Shen Yi asked with a evil smirk as she kept pointing a gun to Li Hui forehead.

"You are going to make her switch our souls." Lin Yan replied.

"Exactly. You know one thing I like about you is that you are very smart, perhaps that’s why you were able to steal Li Lingyun away from me."

"I didn’t steal anyone away from you."

"You did! You took my husband and daughter and now you think you can live happily ever after with your bastard child." Shen Yi shouted child.

" Then what do you want?" Lin Yan asked with tears in her eyes.

Shen Yi put the baby down on the floor gently and smiled when the child just looked at her and closed his eyes, with the gun still in her hand she asked "Did you know that your brother killed my first Shaman? On the day you were about to give birth, the Shaman told me that since your body will be weak, she would be able to transfer my soul back to my body. I was put into a deep sleep and when I woke up and saw that I was still in my body, i rushed to the Shaman in anger not knowing that she was killed and that same night the police concluded their investigation and found me guilty of Su Yin’s murder."

"I can help you."

"What?"

"I can help you get out of this country, you will be able to start another life, I can even help you in restarting your career."

"While you live happily with Li Lingyun! No, never." Shen Yi shouted, she looked at the Shaman and said "Start the process."

The Shaman nodded and tied a black thread on Shen Yi wrist. She walked towards Lin Yan and wanted to tie a black thread on her wrist when Lin Yan moved her hand.

Seeing her action, Shen Yi immediately pointed the gun to Li Hui and said "Do everything she says or else I will shoot."

"Please don’t!" Lin Yan plead and stretch forth her hand and watch as the Shaman tied the black thread on her wrist.

The Shaman drew a circle and asked both of them to step into it, Lin Yan first stepped into the circle and as Shen Yi wanted to entered the circle, the Shaman said "You can’t entered with the gun, the ritual won’t work."

Shen Yi looked at Lin Yan cautiously and put the gun on the floor before entering the circle. The old woman sat on the floor and began chanting her incantation.

Lin Yan suddenly screamed when she felt a sudden pain in her chest. Regardless of the pain in her chest, Lin Yan reached the back of her pocket and bought out a gun and shoot the Shaman in her head.

After killing the Shaman the pain in her chest suddenly disappeared, she immediately pointed the gun at Shen Yi and said "It’s over."

Shen Yi looked at the dead Shaman and said "You have no idea what you have done by killing a Shaman."

"I will face the consequences regardless of what it is but Shen Yi, you should also face the consequences of what you have done. Kidnapping my son and pointing a gun to his head, you should pay for that, shouldn’t you?"

Shen Yi suddenly burst into laugher and said "Do you think I will beg for my life? Shoot me, I don’t care anymore. It’s not like I have a reason to live, you have taken everything away from me!"

Lin Yan looked at Shen Yi pitiful expression and dropped her gun as she screamed out in frustration as she said "You think I wanted this? To be in your body, to fall in love with Li Lingyun, to take things from you. I just wanted a peaceful life with Li Jun and wanted to have a child who I would give my all to but I was betrayed, killed by my husband mistress and when I woke up in your body and I thought i had gotten a second chance but I found myself falling in love with Li Lingyun, a man you despised and I got a daughter, one who you didn’t even care for since day one."

"But I’ve changed, I want them back. I am prepared to be a good wife and mother to both Li Lingyun and Li Xiao. If you go away, I promise to even take care of your son, he will also be my son."

"What changed? You haven’t changed Shen Yi. You only realized that Li Lingyun was a better choice than Mu Chen. I love Li Lingyun and our children and that is why I will never give them up."

Shen Yi let out a vicious smile and Immediately rushed to collect her gun when suddenly a gun shot was heard.

Lin Yan froze when she heard the gun shot, she watched as Shen Yi collapse on the floor and turned to looked behind her.

"Lingyun." Lin Yan whispered.

Li Lingyun sighed in relief when he saw that both Lin Yan and Li Hui were alright. He thought he was going to be too late, if Shen Yi had collected her gun then it would have been over. He rushed to Lin Yan hugged her tightly as he whispered "I was so scared."

Lin Yan hugged Li Lingyun back and cried loudly, but a cry stopped her tears, she immediately left Li Lingyun embrace and went to carry her son who has started crying loudly.

Lin An walked in to this scene, he saw Shen Yi on the floor with her eyes opened and he knew she was dead. He walked towards her and bend down to close her eyes and after that he kissed her forehead and whispered "Sorry for not being able to save you. In another life, I truly hope you get the happy ending you deserve because you don’t deserve this one."

Lin Yan held Li Hui closely to her and looked at Lin An confusedly, why was he behavely so affectionately with Shen Yi? She was sure they did not really know each other.

Lin An stood up and looked at Li Lingyun and just nodded without saying anything, he moved his gaze to Lin Yan and said "I’m glad you are alright. Our dad has given all the evidence he has against Li Qi to the police, including the evidence that prove Li Qi to be responsible for the accident of Li Lingyun parents. You should see him and thank him, at least now, there are no threat to Li Hui future."

Lin Yan just nodded and glanced at Shen Yi dead body before looking away and focusing her gaze on just her son.
