Li Lingyun entered the ward Lin Yan was in and quickly rushed to her side when she suddenly screamed in pain. He held her hand and asked "Are you alright?"

"Li Jun..... Is he going to die?"

Li Lingyun wiped the sweat from her forehead with his hand and kissed her briefly as he said "Don’t worry about him, the doctors are still working on him, but I need you to focus on our baby right now. Ok?"

Lin Yan nodded and suddenly let out a scream as she felt a sharp pain in her belly, she tighten her grip on Li Lingyun hands and said "Stay here with me."

"I’m not going anywhere."

Just then a female doctor came in with two nurses and smiled at Lin Yan as she asked "Are you ready to push out your little prince."

Lin Yan chuckled slightly and nodded. At first she never felt any pain but when she felt it, it was unbearable, she loves her baby but right now, she couldn’t wait to get the child out of her.

"Ok, take in a deep breath and push."

Lin Yan screamed as she pushed with all her might.

"You are doing great but I still need you to push some more."

Li Lingyun allowed Lin Yan to hold his hand tightly as she screamed.

Lin Yan on the other hand was feeling too weak and tired, when the doctor told her to push again, she shook her head and said "I can’t."

Li Lingyun held her hand and kissed her forehead as he whispered to her "Yes you can, come on, just one more time."

Lin Yan screamed as she pushed one more time and sighed in relief when she heard the crying of a child.

With the crying child in her arms, the female doctor smiled at both Li Lingyun and Lin Yan as she said "It’s a boy."

Li Lingyun laughed when he saw his son and kissed Lin Yan softly as he said "You did well. He’s beautiful."

Lin Yan chuckled softly and was about to ask to see her son when she felt air leaving her, she suddenly found herself losing breath and was too even weak to fight it.

Suddenly the monitor started making loud noise, Li Lingyun turned to Lin Yan and saw her struggling to breath, he looked at the doctor and asked "What’s happening?"

The doctor immediately gave the child to one of the nurse and said to Li Lingyun "Please leave the room, we will call you back when she stable."

Not planning to affect the doctor work, with a heavy heart, Li Lingyun was about to leave the room when he heard the straight line of the monitor. He immediately ran back to her side and said "Lin Yan you can give up. Whatever it is, you have to fight it, you can’t leave me or your children, you haven’t even held our son."

"Mr Li please leave." The female doctor said pleadingly.

Li Lingyun shook his head and said "I can’t leave her."

"I promise to do whatever I can to save your wife but for that to happen I need you to live." The female doctor said.

Li Lingyun finally nodded and left when the female doctor started using the defibrillator to revive his wife.

As soon as Li Lingyun came out of the ward he saw Meng Zhu standing there with a smile on his face as he said "Congratulations, I heard It’s a boy."

Meng Zhu smile left his face when he noticed Lingyun was not sharing the same enthusiastic feeling with him, he was about to asked what was wrong, when Li Lingyun hugged him and did something he hardly do, he cried.

"She wasn’t breathing. I don’t think I can survive it if she leaves me. I won’t be able to live without her." Li Lingyun said as more than left his eyes.

Meng Zhu patted his back softly and said "Nothing will happen her, I’m sure of that."

Lin An walked in to this scene and asked "How is she?"

Li Lingyun left Meng Zhu embrace to look at Lin An and said "She is ..." He stopped when he sighted something on Lin An shirt.

Li Lingyun walked towards Lin An and said "Let’s talk privately for a moment."

Lin An nodded and followed Li Lingyun to a quiet hallway.

"What have you been up to?" Li Lingyun asked.

Lin An frowned and asked "What do you mean?"

"Why is there a blood stain on your shirt?"

Lin An looked at his shirt and found a little blood stain at the right hand sleeve and sighed "Who would have thought that I would get her filthy blood on me."

"Who did you kill?"

Lin An looked at Li Lingyun and shrugged as he said "Just some nameless shaman."

"Why?"

"Didn’t Lin An heart stopped beating before you came out? That only happened because you allowed Shen Yi to become loose."

"What are you talking about?"

"You are the most powerful man in country D and yet you are telling me that you couldn’t keep Shen Yi in jail. If I didn’t monitor her movement then I would never have known that she planned to put her soul back into her body."

"What?"

"If I was even a minute late then my sister would have been gone and I would never have forgiven you for that." Lin An said and was about to walk away when Li Lingyun held his hand and asked "The body? Did you take care of the body?"

"Dad helped me with it." Lin An replied and left.

It was all his fault, if he had never been so relax with Shen Yi, then what happened with Lin Yan would have never happened.

Just then his phone rang, Li Lingyun took out his phone from his pocket and saw that it was Gu Wei calling, he immediately answered the call and asked "Did you find out who caused the accident?"

"Yes sir. The truck driver claimed he was paid to do it, I was able to traced the account that sent him the money and it turns out that the person who paid him is Fang Min."

"Fang Min was the one who paid the driver to kill my wife?"

"Should we take matters into our hand or let the law settle it?" Gu Wei asked

Li Lingyun sighed and said "Gathered all the evidence against Fang Min and let the law handle it. I want her behind bars before the end of tonight."

"Yes sir."

Li Lingyun sighed and whispered "You have to wake up Lin Yan, only then can you have your revenge."
