Li Lingyun felt Lin Yan gaze as he wondered what he should say, should he tell her that he knew that bastard who almost killed him six years ago. Although they have agreed to not keep secrets from each other but remembering the pain she felt on her stomach made him to think that perhaps he shouldn’t tell her the truth just yet, well at least until the doctor has confirmed that everything is alright with both her and the child. After coming to a conclusion, he looked at her and said "The name just sounds familiar but I doubt I do."

"Oh. You don’t have to worry about him, he is just the father of Lin Yan and Lin Yan is dead so he won’t post as a trouble to either you or Meng Zhu."

Li Lingyun smiled softly and said "You don’t have to worry about that. Even if he is your father, there is nothing to prove it, nothing ties you to him, so just relax."

Lin Yan nodded and hugged Li Lingyun tightly as she whispered "I feel tired, let’s go back to sleep."

Li Lingyun kissed her forehead and took her back to the room. He carressed her hair as she fell asleep and Immediately she was asleep, he got up gently from the bed and walked towards the window, he took out his phone and dial a number and as soon as the number went through he said "Liu Gao is really your father?"

Lin An sighed and said "She told you."

"She was stressed and because of that we have to see the doctor later today."

"Is she alright?" Lin Yan asked with worry in his voice.

"She is fine and asleep." Li Lingyun replied.

"Why did you call me Li Lingyun?"

"I need you to set up a meeting with him"

"What? No. Lin Yan kill me if I do that."

"And the world will turn their back on you if they find out that one of the most successful business men in country D has ties with a Mafia lord."

"So you are threatening me? You and I both know that you won’t come through with your threats."

Li Lingyun chuckled softly and said "Really? Should we wait and see if tomorrow news will still be about Zhou Xi imprisonment or about a certain ceo and of course Lin An, I will save you but the suspicion will always be in their mind."

"You bastard."

"Tell him I want to see him, he can set the time and place, I don’t really care."

"Are you not afraid of him?" Lin An asked curiously.

" If I was afraid of his kind, then I would have been dead a long time ago."

Lin An suddenly burst into laugher and saud "You are truly an intriguing man Li Lingyun. Glad to be your brother-in-law and don’t worry, I will set up a meeting with him. Goodnight and say hello to my sister for me."

"One more thing. Stay away from Jiang Jingyui, you are too crazy to be with her."

Lin An chuckled and said "But I have a feeling she wouldn’t mind my craziness."

After the call ended, Li Lingyun looked at Lin Yan who was still sleeping soundly and went back to the bed, he hugged her close to him and placed a kissed on her forehead before falling asleep.

Li Jun was busy signing documents when he heard a knock on the door, he sighed deeply because he had specifically asked to not be disturbed, hearing the knock again, he said "Come in."

He saw his assistant walking in with a envelope in his hand, Li Jun immediately got up from his seat and collected the envelope from his assistant as he asked "Is it from the hospital?"

"Yes." Ji Yui replied. He wondered what was in the envelope that made his boss so anxious about it.

"Ok, you can leave." Li Jun said as he prepared to open the envelope but stopped when he saw Ji Yui still standing there. He glare at his assistant and asked "Are you deaf?"

"Sorry sir, it’s just that there was a call from D prison."

Li Jun frowned as he asked "D prison? What did they say?"

"The actress Zhou Xi who was arrested for the murder of Su Yin has requested to meet with you."

"But I have no business with her, I barely even knew her."

"She said she knows something you don’t about your wife."

Li Jun scoffed and said "If it’s about Fang Min, then I will pass, decline the meeting."

"Not Fang Min sir, it’s Lin Yan."

"Lin Yan?" What would Zhou Xi know about Lin Yan? And suddenly, he remembered the words of that old woman and as if he was still hoping for that woman words to be somehow true, he looked at his assistant and said "Tell her I will meet with her."

"Yes sir." Ji Yui said and left.

All alone in his office, Li Jun stared at the envelope for a brief moment, before opening it and the words in the paper made him felt as if a thousand needles were stabbing his heart because it was negative, Li Yuze wasn’t his son. That wrenched woman lied to him, but if Li Yuze wasn’t his son then who is his real father and who was it that sent him that envelope, for that person to be able to get both him and Li Yuze DNA then that person must be close to them.

Li Jun took out his phone and dial a number and when the call went through he asked "Did you ever tell Fang Min that I installed security camera in Li Yuze room?"

"No sir. I told no one."

"Good. I need all the security footage for this month. I need to know who went in and out of my son’s room, can you do that for me?"

"Of course sir, I will get it done before the end of today."

"Thank you." Li Jun said and ended the call. Finally, he was going to know who was messing with him and when he finds that person, he was going to make them pay.
