It’s been a week since Wang Hua was admitted to the mental hospital and Min Yu who has been in the hospital since that incident was finally going to be discharged. Though the acid didn’t touch her face but it burnt her neck and the doctor has reassure her that with surgery she would be as good as normal but for some reason, Min Yu has refused to get surgery.

"Why won’t you have the surgery mom?" Min Xue asked in anger as he watched his mother packed all of her stuff from the hospital.

Min Yu sighed and said "I’ve told you this before, this scar needs to be here for your father to feel guilty and to give us our right."

"But do you need to destroy yourself for that to happen, Wang Hua is already locked up in a mental asylum, she has paid for what she did to you."

"And you think that’s enough? the Li family practically threatened me not to charge her for attempted murder. Don’t you see, they still have her back and within a month or year I’m sure they will get her out of there and where does that leave you and me."

"But we have dad with us, he wouldn’t abandoned us. He loves you." Min Xue said in conviction.

Min Yu shook her head and said "How much power do you think your dad owes in the Li family. The Li family has one true ruler and that is Li Lingyun, your dad is barely recognize as a son there."

"Then what should we do?" Min Xue asked more silently.

Min Yu smiled and held her son hands as she said "We must first make you a Li and not just in name but in papers as well, only then can you get your right."

"But how do we that? The old man might never accept me and Li Lingyun hates me and I think visiting him at his company was a bad idea."

Min Yu frowned as she looked at her son and asked "You did what? Why did you make such a stupid decision?"

"It’s was out of impulse ok. I wanted to have at least one person on my side but when I saw him up close, it was as if i was a peasant standing in front of a king, he made me so uncomfortable, that I tried and said so many stupid things to show him that I was not intimidated by him but you know what? I failed."

Min Yu heart ache for her son, she hugged him and said "You didn’t fail. Remember, mummy always proud of you."

Min Xue laughed softly in his mother’s arm and said "I’m already adultw but yet you still treat me like a child."

Min Yu smiled and said "You will always be my baby and don’t worry about anything, I am definitely going to ensure that you get your right as a member of the Li." Getting her son his right was going to be the last she did, she must ensure she do it well.

Min Yu checked her watch and sighed when she saw that the person she was waiting for was already an hour late, to be honest, she would not be surprised if the woman did not show up, she was about to leave when she saw Shen Yi walking in to the restaurant, she waved her hand for Shen Yi to notice and smiled when Shen Yi spotted her and walked towards her.

Lin Yan sat down and said "Be fast, I have a parents teacher meeting in one hour."

Min Yu smiled as said "I sometimes forget that even you have a child."

Lin Yan frowned and asked "What do you mean by that?"

"I don’t mean to offend you but you are always so cold that I forget that even a cold person like you have a child, a little girl that you must love, right?"

"My love for my daughter is none of your business, if you are not ready to get to the point then I’m out of here." Lin Yan said coldly.

"I want your help in making my son a legitimate member of the Li family."

Lin Yan scoffed and asked "Why would I help you with that?"

"Because in return I will also help you."

"And what exactly do you think I need your help in?"

"While I was at the I found out something about Fang Min? There is this particular doctor she would always see and one day I was able to overhear there conversation."

"What was it you overheard?"

Min Yu shook her head and said "I want assurance that if I tell you this, then you will help me in making my son legitimate."

Lin Yan stared at Min Yu in silence and wonder just what her deal was. She looked at the injury on Min Yu neck that was slightly covered with a scarf and suddenly asked "Why didn’t you agree to get surgery?"

Min Yu was first startled at the change of conversation and said "It would have be of no use."

Lin Yan scoffed and asked "Why? Because you needed something to make Li Ran feel guilty of."

Tears fell from Min Yu eyes as she said "Because I only have less than a year to live."

"What? You are lying."

"Believe whatever you want. At this point, I don’t care what any of you think of me, I just want to be assure that my son won’t suffered while i’m gone."

"It’s funny how you think that having a child with a married man won’t make that said child suffer."

"I didn’t know he was married, we met at a bar and then began seeing each other. I only found out that he was married when I went through his phone and even by that time it was already late because I was pregnant and in love with him."

"I don’t believe you." Lin Yan said with no sympathy in her voice.

Min Yu cleaned her tears "Like I said, believe whatever you want."

Lin Yan sighed and finally asked "What did you overheard? If it is something that I can use then I will help you."

"I didn’t really understand what they were saying but Fang Min was telling the doctor not to constantly call her and that she would pay him soon. I also heard the doctor threatening Fang Min that if she does not pay him then everyone will find out the truth."

"What truth?" Lin Yan asked.

Min Yu shook her head as she said "That, I do not know."

"Then you should find out."

"What?"

"If you really want my help in making your son a legitimate child of the Li family, then find out what secret the doctor was talking about."

"But...how would I even found that out?"

Lin Yan shrugged and said "That’s your problem."

"Are you being serious right now?"

"Fang Min has a secret, so what? I can do nothing with that information. Find out the secret and I will take care of your son being recognized as a Li. It’s a good deal if you ask me."

Min Yu looked at Lin Yan silently before saying "You are right, it’s a good deal but how I’m sure that you won’t go back on your word. What if, you and Li Lingyun see my son as a threat?"

Lin Yan laughed softly and asked "You are joking right?" When she saw Min Yu was looking at her seriously she sighed and said "If Li Jun is not a threat then how do you expect your son to be one. Your son is only a threat to Li Jun and not to either me or Li Lingyun."

Min Yu nodded and said "I will contact you when I get more information."

Lin Yan stood up from the chair and said "I will pay you for your services, I’m sure you need the money anyway."

Before Min Yu could retort, Shen Yi has already walked away. She has seen Li Xiao in the news before, she wondered how such a cold woman became the mother to such a adorable child.

Zhou Xi felt goosebumps all over her skin as soon as she step her feet in the small store. She looked round the store and saw skeleton skull and portion all over the there.

"Having second thoughts?"

Zhou Xi jumped when she heard a old woman voice from no where. She looked forward and saw that the voice was coming from the cotton, she opened the cotton and saw a old woman wearing black glasses as she asked "You are the shaman?"

"Are you here on information of how to return back to your body?" The old woman responded with a question.

Zhou Xi looked at the woman in surprised and asked "How did you know that?"

"Why did you even come here when you don’t trust on my ability?"

"I do. I trust your ability. Is there really a way for me to return back to my body?" Zhou Xi asked. She once overheard one of the actress, talking about how she met this shaman who told her everything about her love life. She overheard how the actress kept saying the shaman was real and it made her to wonder if this shaman could help her as well.

"Sit." The Shaman said.

Zhou Xi sat down and heard as the woman said "Stretch forth your hand."

Zhou Xi stretched forth her hand and watched as the woman just traced the lines in her palm and said "You can’t return to your body, at least not right now."

Zhou Xi frowned and asked "Why? Why can’t I return to my body right now?"

"The soul who occupies your body is pregnant, entering her body right now will only harm the baby."

Zhou Xi moved her hand away from the Shaman angrily and said "I don’t care about that. I need to go back to my life that was stolen away from me."

The Shaman scoffed and said "You say it like you were a good wife or mother to them."

"What?"

"I don’t harm children, if you can’t wait till she gives birth to her baby then you can remain stuck in that body forever."

"Another woman is going to have a child for Li Lingyun, my husband and you expect me to do nothing."

"I’m telling you that there is nothing you can do to stop it." The Shaman replied coldly.

Shen Yi let out a frustrated laughed and asked "Then when exactly can I return to my body? When can I go back to being Shen Yi, Li Lingyun wife and Li Xiao mother."

The Shaman sighed and bought out some cards, after shuffling the card, she asked Shen Yi to pick three cards and then placed those three cards on the table.

The old woman picked one of the cards that Shen Yi had chosen and removed her black glasses, she looked at the card carefully before saying "On the day she gives birth to her child, her soul will be weak after childbirth and at that moment you can return back to your body. I will help you in performing the ceremony."

Shen Yi sighed in relief as she asked "Really?"

"Yes, but..." The Shaman said as she picked the second card placed on the table and said "You have six months."

"What do you mean by I have six months?"

"You must make your husband Li Lingyun to completely forget about the other woman and you have just six months to do that."

Shen Yi looked at the old woman and asked "What if I’m unable to make him fall for me after six months."

The old woman sighed and said "Then your soul will either return back to this woman body or it will be completely destroy. With knowing all these, do you still wish to return back to your owe body or will you leave things as they are?"

Will she really be able to make Li Lingyun to love her back within six months? No, she shouldn’t have such thoughts, after all it was her who was his wife first. Shen Yi gaze became firm as she looked at the old woman eyes and said "I wish to return back, to take what rightfully belongs to me and to finally become the wife and mother I once failed to be."
