Chapter 53: Chapter 52: Muyin vs Kael 1
Joren didn’t need to train in body control—his mastery over his new form was as flawless as it had been on Earth. What was difficult, however, was mastering his newfound strength and enhanced senses. But now that he had adapted, he knew the golden egg was a blessing.
As a fierce beast, his senses were sharper than most. He could tell that taking the egg would push him into a new realm of power. It would undoubtedly evolve his bloodline from a mere fierce beast into something far more terrifying—a starry beast. But there was a problem.
He was a Demi-God, and he could tell that the kid was one too—dangerous beyond words. Joren could sense a terrifying power buried beneath Kael’s seemingly frail form.
The only reason he could perceive this was due to his devour ability. Since his concept revolved around devouring, his sensitivity to energy was abnormally high.
"What should I do?" Joren pondered, yawning as he sat down. His two fangs glinted in the dim light as his sharp eyes carefully observed Kael.
From the boy’s actions, Joren could tell he would never abandon the egg. That meant he had to come up with another plan.
Fighting Kael would be suicidal—that much was obvious. But what if he led him away? Kept him distracted?
It was a solid plan, but there was a major flaw. What if Kael saw him? Joren preferred to remain in the shadows while his prey stayed in the light—that was how a predator operated. That was how he had always been, even back on Earth.
Just as he considered luring a False God Realm fierce beast as a distraction, something—or rather, someone—appeared at the entrance of the cave.
Joren stiffened.
He was fifteen meters long and ten meters tall, but even so, he was only half the height of the being before him.
Joren called it a beast simply because of its appearance—twenty meters tall with a rippling, muscular physique, six arms, two horns, and two blazing eyes.
This was Muyin.
And he had just arrived.
Joren’s blood ran cold. It was as if Muyin had simply materialized out of thin air—Joren hadn’t even seen him move.
********
Inside the Cave
Kael stared at the egg in front of him. After that initial crack, there had been no further movement. He hadn’t sensed anything since.
What’s going on?
The creature inside couldn’t be dead—its heartbeat was still strong. But if it wasn’t breaking free, that meant something was wrong.
Was it too weak? Was its bloodline missing? Or worse... did it not have a bloodline?
Just as Kael pondered this, a suffocating aura descended upon the cave. His expression darkened.
So far, no beast had dared to approach—his Demi-God aura kept them at bay. Even stronger fierce beasts had shown no interest in a mere Demi-God’s cave.
Kael also knew the egg had no scent—otherwise, he would have been swarmed by hundreds of fierce beasts by now.
But the way this aura appeared, right outside the cave...
It meant one thing.
The creature knew about the egg.
And judging by the terrifying aura being released... Kael’s expression turned grim as he stepped outside.
If it was a fierce beast, Kael would throw the egg out and flee. He couldn’t fight something beyond his league. But if it was from a race...
Then perhaps he could talk his way out of this.
Well, that depended on its realm.
Kael was invincible below the Minor God Realm.
But, as fate would have it...
His opponent had just stepped into that realm.
The moment Kael exited the cave, he activated his All-Seer ability.
Name: ???
Rank: Minor God Realm (Middle)
Concept: ???
Abilities: ???
Bloodline: Asura (Blood Clan)
Kael’s body tensed.
Slowly, he lifted his gaze.
There, a twenty-meter-tall figure loomed over him, watching indifferently. Six arms. An overwhelming physique. A presence that radiated sheer power and chaos.
"So this is the Asura Clan?" Kael thought, his eyes scanning the being before him.
Muyin stared at the puny human at his feet. Even before his ascension, humans had been nothing more than insects to him. Even the strong ones. He disliked their smallness, though he admitted the Immortals were different—stronger, crazier...
Especially that space-time girl.
The mere thought of her sent an involuntary shiver down his spine.
But that was the past.
Muyin focused on the present and spoke.
"The egg. Now."
His voice was indifferent, absolute. Though he could see the cave, he didn’t know the egg’s exact location—only its general direction.
Not that it mattered.
Within ten kilometers? That was less than a single step for him.
Kael looked up, contemplating.
Planning ahead was wise, but there came a time when one had to fight.
Yet... who was he, really?
He had no organization, no power of his own. Challenging a creature of this caliber—one that belonged to an entire race—was sheer stupidity.
He weighed his options.
Muyin grew impatient.
"Insect."
With a single word, Muyin lifted his foot and stomped down.
Forget it—he would find the egg himself. And if he didn’t? He would raze this entire place to the ground.
Kael’s surroundings darkened.
Reacting instantly, he vanished from his spot, reappearing several meters away as Muyin’s foot slammed into the earth.
BOOM!
The land ruptured.
Kael retreated further and further until he was thousands of kilometers away.
"Close," he thought, his gaze locked onto the towering figure in the distance.
Muyin sneered.
"Oh? The little pest is at the Demi-God rank? Rubbish."
He chuckled, his deep voice laced with amusement.
Normally, he wasn’t this arrogant. But after transforming from a Three-Armed Giant into an Asura, his bloodline had awakened fully—along with its natural indifference and disdain for the weak.
Kael sighed, but his instincts screamed at him to leave.
The egg was precious, but was it worth his life?
No.
Besides, he didn’t need it for immediate strength—it was something for the future.
If he survived and grew stronger, he could always hunt down the Asura Clan and take it back.
If not... then it wasn’t meant to be.
But before he could act—
"Die."
Muyin growled as a blood-red, terrifying energy surged toward Kael with impossible speed.
Kael’s eyes widened.
"What—"
No time to think.
His vision darkened as his eyes turned pitch black.
BOOM!
A massive explosion erupted, obliterating hundreds of miles in an instant.
The shockwave sent fierce beasts fleeing in terror. Even the False God Realm beasts, though enraged, backed away the moment they sensed Muyin’s overwhelming Minor God Realm aura.
This battle was far beyond them.
"So this is the feeling of power... such strength," Muyin muttered with a grin as he sensed the angry False God Realm fierce beasts retreating.
He had already forgotten about Kael—after all, he believed the boy was dead. Even a False God Realm fierce beast would have been seriously injured by that attack.
Just as he was about to start searching, something unexpected happened.
BOOOM!
An attack struck his cheek, forcing Muyin to halt in his tracks. His body turned as he touched his face, and a small figure dropped to the ground.
It was Kael, now in his incomplete Oblivion form. His eyes were completely black, his body growing from half a meter to two meters in height. Though his face remained familiar, his presence was anything but.
Muyin’s grin faded as he took in the sight of Kael’s incomplete Oblivion body.
The scene painted a strange picture: a two-meter-tall figure facing off against a towering twenty-meter Asura. The difference in size was vast—just like the difference in power. Behind them, the landscape lay in ruin, devastated for hundreds of miles.
Some distance away, Joren grinned.
"This is what I needed," he mused, though his expression quickly darkened. The enemy was still too strong... and worse, he was also after the egg.
Joren couldn’t shake the feeling that the egg was vital—that he needed it to evolve. His plan was simple: wait until they were distracted, snatch the egg, and flee to devour it. But that Asura was at the Minor God Realm, while Kael—formerly a Demi-God—had now become something different, something... unnatural.
The darkness that shrouded him was chaotic and unstable. Joren could sense that this new Kael could kill him effortlessly, but was he strong enough to challenge the Asura?
The answer came with the previous punch—Muyin hadn’t even flinched.
"You... PUNY INSECT!" Muyin roared.
A shockwave erupted, causing hundreds of kilometers around them to explode.
Debris flew in all directions. Massive trees and boulders the size of mountains rained down, threatening to bury Kael.
He moved.
Twisting his body, he dodged the incoming wreckage. A massive boulder, thousands of meters in diameter, came crashing down, blotting out the sky.
Kael glanced at it.
Erasure.
The boulder vanished.
Muyin advanced, unfazed by the destruction. Ruins and debris disintegrated before they could even touch him.
A punch tore through the air—massive, easily over twenty times Kael’s size.
Kael responded in kind, throwing a punch of his own.
BOOM!
Silence followed... then a deafening explosion as tens of thousands of miles were obliterated.
Kael was sent flying, tumbling thousands of miles away. He landed and glanced at his arm.
Gone.
His entire right arm had vanished.
But almost instantly, it regenerated.
Kael clenched and unclenched his fist, testing his restored limb, then disappeared.
Void.
He shifted to another realm, reappearing thousands of kilometers away.
The spot where he had just stood was erased by Muyin’s sweeping kick.
"I can’t fight head-on... I have to use my concept," Kael thought, his blackened eyes burning with rage.
In this form, his desire for battle remained, but his logical reasoning was slipping away. That was why he had attacked Muyin the moment he transformed.
A weakness.
A weakness he needed to control in the future—or it would get him killed.
"Your concept is fascinating... for a dead man," Muyin said, retracting his leg.
He appeared before Kael in an instant.
Kael tried to shift into the Void Realm again—but he couldn’t move.
Space was locked.
"You don’t think your little trick will work again, do you?" Muyin mocked, preparing to strike.
From what he had observed, a being could only possess one concept while excluding the space-time girl . Many abilities were possible, but Kael’s movements weren’t based on speed. It was something spatial. The fact that Muyin couldn’t sense his aura when he teleported had made him act.
Kael had no way to dodge.
Or so Muyin thought.
Nothingness.
Muyin’s hand passed right through Kael’s body.
Kael stepped onto Muyin’s arm.
BOOM!
Kael punched.
Chaos.
His strength multiplied, forcing Muyin to take a step back.
Muyin grinned.
He looked down at the tiny insect that had dared to strike him. His fiery red eyes darkened into a deeper shade of crimson.
And then, his body awakened.
The Asura Clan—like all chaotic clans—thrived in war.
And this...
This was a challenge.
"Delicious," Muyin murmured, licking his lips as sharp fangs gleamed in the darkness.
From afar, Joren’s mouth hung open.
"Fuck... fuck... fuck... You two are insane," Joren muttered, shaking his head. He couldn’t even see them fighting—just the destruction left in their wake.
