Chapter 52: Chapter 51: Eater of existence??

"Hmm..." Joren was puzzled as he gazed at the human child curiously exploring the egg in the cave few kilometers from him.

Right now, the joren had no system—only a status screen, just like Liu Tian. In the Realm of War, all systems were converted into a concept. Systems feared being chosen by the Realm of War because of this.

Joren’s gaze remained fixed on the boy as he pondered. He understood what the Realm of War was, and he was shocked. The sheer strength it represented was impressive. Even more so, this place was merely the middle realm of the Realm of War.

To put it simply, the Realm of War was like a universe—though that was just a basic understanding. Despite its name, it wasn’t a single realm but rather a collection of multiple realms and planes.

The Realm of War was divided into three major sections:

The Low Realm (Low Land)

The Middle Realm

The High Realm

*The Low Realm

The Low Realm was further divided into:

Elite Realm

Commander Realm

Legendary Realm

Evolved Realm

This was the limit of the Low Realm. It was possible to reach the Awakener Realm here, but once someone did, they could no longer remain in the Low Realm.

From the Elite Realm to the Evolved Realm, one’s body was constantly tempered, the soul grew stronger, and various skills and techniques were learned to build power.

In the Low Realm, there were no fierce beasts, only normal beasts, which grew stronger by devouring each other or other creatures. Essentially, the Low Realm functioned like a novice village, where beings could enter through various portals that appeared in different worlds.

These worlds were low-level, typically simple planets where the strongest being could, at most, destroy a continent. Many were even weaker than that. The beings who entered these portals sought to ascend to a greater world—the Realm of War.

This was how many beings ended up in the Realm of War. However, there was another method: the Realm of War itself selected worlds and chose the most talented individuals as Awakeners.

The worlds chosen by the Realm of War were always planets—some high-end, others low-end.

Joren sighed at the vastness and complexity of it all but continued analyzing.

If a portal was opened in a world, it would never produce an Awakener. However, if the entire planet was transported and integrated into the Realm of War, an Awakener would be chosen.

In most cases, only one being from a planet became an Awakener—like Kael’s world. The others from that world ended up in the Low Realm, and most, if not all, perished. After all, this was a battleground. War and death were constants.

If a being was chosen as an Awakener, they were first transported to the Low Realm, where they had to make their way up to the Middle Realm. This path was for beings who advanced from the Elite Realm to the Awakener Realm.

However, special cases existed—like Joren, who was already at the Demi-God Rank, or Liu Tian, who was directly brought to the Middle Realm.

For Joren, the Middle Realm was the most important aspect.

Here, at the very core of the Realm of War, countless planes and realms existed. For example, the Plane of Death, which contained various realms of death, each based on the understanding of the beings within it.

Gods also had domains where they built their armies. These domains could be integrated into themselves to boost their strength or used to weaken their enemies. These domains were the realms within different planes.

Some races in the Realm of War were so powerful that they had entire planes of residence. These included:

The Dragon Race

The Immortal Race

The Celestial Race

The Destroyed Ashura Race

The Demon Race

The Main Gods’ Race and much more

However, the greatest danger in the Middle Realm came from the Starry Beasts.

Fierce beasts were invincible at the same rank, but Starry Beasts were even more terrifying. They were born from concepts themselves—beings of destruction. They existed to annihilate, and even when they created something, it was only through destruction.

Starry Beasts could appear anywhere, at any time. They wandered the Middle Realm in search of food and often invaded the territories of other races.

Yet, even they weren’t the true horrors of this realm.

The most terrifying were the Void Beasts and the Chaos Beasts.

Their very existence was a threat to gods and to the stability of the Realm of War itself.

This was too much for Joren to process at once. Shaking his beastly head, his ears dropped, overwhelmed by the sheer madness of this world.

One word described it all:

Danger.

Death was everywhere.

And then came the craziest part of all...

The Sequences

As everyone knew, the Realm of War had a dynamic power system. Different names existed for strength and power, but one thing was universally agreed upon—

The strongest power was undoubtedly the Concepts.

What are Concepts?

Joren searched his mind, recalling the massive amount of information he had received.

Then, he found the answer.

Concepts were origin energy.

To simplify: Concepts were the peak of power.

Energy followed this hierarchy:

1. Elemental Energy → Laws → Rules → Aboni → Concepts

This was the absolute truth acknowledged by all existence.

Universes were built upon laws.

Multiverses were structured by rules.

Omniverses were formed by Aboni.

And everything in existence itself was governed by Concepts.

Everything around them was a concept broken down into smaller energy systems, spread across reality.

There was even more knowledge beyond this, but Joren instinctively knew—

He was not strong enough to comprehend it yet.

The Sequences

These were terrifying beings—the absolute pinnacle of a specific concept.

They were on their way to becoming the God of that concept.

Each Concept had eleven Sequences. These were the strongest wielders of that Concept before reaching the Supreme God Realm.

Once a being ascended to the Supreme God Realm, they were no longer a Sequence—nor were they even living beings anymore.

They became the Concept itself.

As long as the Concept existed, they would never die... unless something stronger destroyed them.

The Sequences were ranked from Zero to Ten.

The strongest was Sequence Zero, closest to becoming a Supreme God.

The weakest was Sequence Ten, at the Minor God Realm.

Joren’s tongue hung out, his pupils dilating in sheer disbelief.

His wolf claws pierced the ground like it was butter. His body trembled uncontrollably.

He knew it.

This world was terrifying.

Compared to the place he had come from, this place was insanity itself.

As a Demi-God, he could destroy an entire solar system—yet here, he was one of the weakest.

Even with his past as a human, even with all the novels, animes, and vivid imaginations he had experienced before...

Nothing had prepared him for this.

And so, a single thought echoed in his mind:

Who the fuck can even survive in the Realm of War?

It took a while for Joren to calm down after analyzing everything. His mind was in turmoil, and his gaze, previously locked on Kael, finally shifted.

Just as he finished his thoughts, he sensed various auras throughout the forest.

He had already detected tens of thousands of Demi-God realm fierce beasts and thousands of False God realm beasts.

But what truly unsettled him was the presence of beings far stronger than that. And the most terrifying aura... it came from the core of the forest.

That beast—it must never awaken.

Joren shook his head and sighed. Regardless, he was also a fierce beast and a Demi-God. At the very least, he could survive here—and grow stronger.

Using his Devour concept, he could kill and absorb others to fuel his power. Even without actively using it, he understood this truth:

To survive in this world, he had to kill and devour.

The ironic part? Even those without his concept were doing the same.

After all, this was the Realm of War. Bloodshed was the only path forward. Killing, evolving, and obtaining shards of one’s concept—that was the key to survival.

************

Atthe Core of the Fasis Forest...

A massive object pulsed rhythmically in the darkness. Its surface was black, crisscrossed with glowing purple veins.

It throbbed like a heartbeat, yet it exuded no aura—yet still, it struck fear into the depths of one’s soul.

No fierce beast dared to come near the hole the cocoon was in.

And then, after two days of silence, the twenty-meter-tall cocoon finally shook.

A single crack echoed through the forest.

The heartbeat accelerated. The cocoon trembled violently, swelling—before suddenly, it burst open.

BOOM!

A deafening explosion rocked the surroundings. Everything in the immediate area—trees, beasts—was instantly reduced to blood mist, which flowed like a crimson river toward the being that had just been born.

Then, a pair of blazing red eyes opened.

As the mist cleared, the creature’s full form was revealed—

Twenty meters tall. Six muscular arms. A terrifying physique.

Long black hair cascaded down its broad back, while two curved horns protruded from its forehead.

This was no mere devil.

No—this was an Asura.

The Asura Clan had returned.

"Fascinating..."

A deep voice rumbled as the being smiled.

This was Muyin.

He had just advanced from a three-armed giant into a six-armed creature of the Blood Sea. He was now an Asura.

Power surged through his veins. He had not only broken through to the Minor God realm—but had directly reached the middle stage of that realm.

Such strength...

He was now as powerful as the two ancient ancestors of his race. No—perhaps even stronger. With his bloodline, he should be able to surpass them.

"Hahaha... Riya, your end is near!"

Muyin’s voice was laced with hatred as he laughed, his burning red eyes brimming with malice.

Then, suddenly, he noticed something.

A long stream of blood was flowing toward him.

Before he could react, the blood surged into his body. His strength grew.

Muyin’s eyes widened in shock.

Compared to the energy needed to reach the high stage of the Minor God realm, this was just a drop in the ocean—but still, it meant something.

He had awakened a Concept.

And it was the Concept of Blood.

A rush of information flooded his mind.

He grinned.

He had taken off.

With the Blood Concept, he could grow stronger by feeding on blood. His comprehension, his power—everything was linked to devouring blood. And most importantly—

He had no limits.

As long as he consumed blood, his power would continue to grow.

If he reached the High God level, he could create a Blood Sea—and with it, revive the Asura Clan.

With the Blood Sea, he would be invincible.

With the Blood Sea, he would never die.

No wonder the Asura Clan had once been feared.

Muyin’s smile turned cold and calculating as he braced for his next move.

Suddenly, a strange urge overcame him.

He turned toward a distant direction.

Something was about to be born.

And that creature—it had to be killed.

Because it was destined to become his greatest enemy.

Muyin’s expression darkened as a name surfaced in his mind.

"Vorithan..."

The Eater of Existence.
