Chapter 45: Consequence of the experiment
Chapter 45: Chapter 45: Consequence of the experiment
Upon entering the forest, Kael felt the temperature drop in real time as his skin crawled with fear. A cold sensation ran down his spine, and a tingling shiver spread across his body. It was his body’s way of telling him to run. There were terrifying fierce beasts in this forest, but instead of showing fear, Kael merely grinned, his eyes scanning his surroundings.
The stronger the fierce beasts, the better. After all, advancing from the low demigod realm to the middle wasn’t something that could be achieved instantly.
Kael crouched down, observing his surroundings with his gaze fixed on the trees.
In this forest, it seemed as if the sunlight was completely blocked by the thick canopy, creating a dark and ominous atmosphere. To make things worse, eerie howls and unsettling sounds echoed from time to time, while the air was filled with a mixture of herbal scents and the metallic tang of blood.
This forest was creepy in the truest sense.
After observing for a while, Kael didn’t spot any beasts, even after using his All-Seer ability. This brought a smile to his face.
Simply put, he grew stronger in war as long as he was near it. For now, Kael didn’t know how strong the fierce beasts were, but as long as he could sneak around and collect chaotic energy while they fought, he was all good.
Outside, the female immortal was puzzled. Kael had just entered the forest, and the next thing she saw was him crouching down and looking around like a thief. She was confused—no, stunned—as her expression shifted multiple times.
"Does he have a mental issue?" the female immortal thought as she nodded to herself.

Muyin left his race’s abode and sighed. To get to the Forest of Fasis, he had to pass through the human city beside it, which was where Drakus was.
The distance between Muyin’s location and the Forest of Fasis was vast, so he had to find a means of transportation.
With a step, Muyin walked to a nearby beast hold. This hold was where beasts of various strengths, needed for transportation, were kept. Currently, Muyin walked in and was met with a relatively tall and bizarre creature.
This creature stood at least dozens of meters tall, with sixteen eyes and fourteen arms.
It was a standard worker for the beast hold.
"I need a beast for transport. Give me a fast one," Muyin demanded.
"The strength?" the creature asked, its thin, crackling voice resounding.
"False God," Muyin replied.
The creature nodded. A thin blue pulse was released from its body, and the door beside it opened.
Another creature, similar to the one attending to Muyin, walked out with a beast that had enormous wings.
"Wyvern," Muyin muttered. These creatures had an incomplete dragon bloodline.
They looked like dragons, but the difference was significant—they were much smaller. Right now, this one was only 80 meters in length. Small for a dragon, but for Muyin, who was barely ten meters tall, it was massive.
"There’s a gem implanted in the wyvern’s neck region. Touch it to control the creature, and it will follow your every command. Once you reach your destination, the wyvern will return. So, where’s your destination?" the creature asked as the wyvern stepped closer to Muyin.
At the False God realm, this beast was strong—incredibly strong. Destroying a galaxy was well within its capabilities.
"Fasis Forest," Muyin answered.
"One False God realm beast core," the creature stated.
Muyin nodded, retrieving a half-meter-wide, glowing red orb and passing it to the tall creature.
The creature accepted it as Muyin turned to leave.
For transactions, people in the Realm of War primarily used beast cores, though others sometimes used different forms of currency. Beast cores were the most universally recognized, but they were rare. These cores were obtained from fierce beasts, which, unlike normal beasts, were nearly—if not entirely—invincible at the same realm.
Outside, Muyin gazed at the wyvern in admiration.
In his past life, he hadn’t been able to obtain one. After all, he had fled, so he never had a beast core. But now, things were different.
Muyin approached the wyvern and jumped onto its back.
"ROAR!"
A deafening roar echoed as the wyvern’s giant wings unfurled, and its eyes gleamed with an eerie, organic hue.
Placing his hand on the implanted gem in the wyvern’s neck, Muyin commanded the beast. It raised its head and took flight, covering nearly five thousand meters in an instant—and that was just the beginning. Its speed increased exponentially until it was moving at twenty thousand meters per second.
It shot through the sky like a blazing arrow, its slightly bluish scales gleaming under the sun.
Muyin marveled at the sensation of flying atop a beast. His heart felt strangely calm.
No matter what happened, he would make sure he became something in the Realm of War.

[Final Assessment]
[Rank: False God (Low)]
[Combat Rank: False God (High)]
Unlike Muyin, who was already at the peak of the False God realm, Riya had only been at the low level before the experiment. However, she now possessed the combat strength of a high-stage False God expert—a massive leap.
The use and dynamics of the Nothingness Concept had opened Sujikn’s and the others’ eyes, revealing an entirely new world of concepts to them.
She had surpassed all expectations, redefining their understanding time and time again.
Hearing the mechanical voice, Riya smiled before losing consciousness. In front of her lay half of a corpse, the remains of her opponent. The aura emitted from the body was proof of her strength. After all, she had just killed a high-stage False God realm expert on her own.
Riya was becoming more and more like the Sequence. Though the average Sequence was invincible at the same realm—meaning even at the low False God realm, they could easily kill those at the peak—she had already begun to display similar traits. With time, she would reach that level as well or die trying.
Now lies the question: why are the Sequence so strong?
It’s quite simple, really. To become a Sequence, one must have a superb understanding of the concept they wield and fully integrate it into themselves. Sequences are already partially fused with their concepts, making them incredibly powerful—too powerful.
Once they break through to a new realm, their concept draws in strength, allowing them to surpass realms with ease. In the end, the true strength of gods depends on their understanding of their concepts.
"Carry her out quickly," Sujikn instructed as the white room reappeared and the door opened. Medical staff rushed in, carried Riya out, and began treating her while Sujikn took a sip from the drink in front of her.
Riya wasn’t physically injured, just mentally exhausted. For a technological race, their simulation room was designed to showcase the full capacity and strength of a being. That’s why it functioned like an illusion—once inside, the surroundings changed, and a creature was summoned.
This process was entirely controlled by them. All they needed to do was study the creature with drones in the air, collect data, and create a virtual version of it in the simulation.
Currently, millions of tiny drones were scattered around, observing and monitoring key figures with concepts.
Most of the drones had been destroyed—whether by the attacks of those who discovered them or simply as collateral damage in battles. Either way, the few that remained had done their job.
New entries were logged into the system as various local geniuses’ stats were recorded.
New creatures appeared as characters in the simulation database.
"How are the others doing?" Sujikn asked the old man beside her.
"Really well. Although they aren’t as strong as Riya, they can defeat normal genetic warriors at their realm one to five(one can defeat five genetic warrior at the same realm of power). They are strong," the old man said with a slight smile.
"Good. After Miss Riya’s training is complete, she will lead them all as their general and have absolute rule over them," Sujikn said, satisfied.
The old man’s eyes furrowed slightly as he hesitated, then sighed.
Seeing this, Sujikn raised an eyebrow. "What’s the matter?" she asked.
"Well, it’s like this... We discovered a terrifying fact a few days ago... Their lifespan is shortened. They will all die in a year," the old man struggled to say.
Sujikn shot to her feet, her drink spilling as she gritted her teeth in anger.
"Why didn’t you tell me?" she demanded furiously.
The old man bowed his head in shame.
"Tell me," Sujikn pressed.
Finally, the old man confessed.
"The king was afraid his daughter, Riya, would find out, so he ordered us not to tell you—considering how close you and Riya are," he admitted.
Sujikn clenched her fists.
"How long does Riya have?" she asked, her eyes blazing.
"Twenty years... Well, unless she can break through to the Minor God realm, then the problem will be solved," the old man said, closing his eyes.
"What? Damn it... She can’t... No! You should have told me!" Sujikn shouted hysterically, her emotions unstable. The old man bowed lower, his body trembling.
Sujikn was furious—most of all, at herself. Why hadn’t she checked? She had been blinded by success and neglected the necessary precautions.
Even if they had told her, there was little she could have done to change it.
Of course, reaching the peak of the False God realm within twenty years was possible for Riya, given her rare concept of Nothingness. But the Minor God realm... not likely.
The False God realm was merely an advanced version of the Demigod realm, but the Minor God realm was the true beginning of divine power. Beings in this realm existed on an entirely different level—another life sequence. They were gods, eternal and undying, creatures that had surpassed mortal limitations.
After all, Minor God realm experts were akin to the universe itself—ever-growing, with infinite lifespans.
And now, breaking through to that realm required immense sacrifices. Riya was too young, lacked the necessary resources, and her understanding of her concept had not yet reached the required level. It wouldn’t for a long time.
"We just killed Miss Riya," Sujikn whispered as she slumped into her chair, her eyes lifeless.
