Chapter 30: Chapter 30:Garrick vs kael: The reality of life
Kael moved, appearing dozens of meters away in an instant. The spot where he had stood before was disintegrated.
A Grandmaster Realm expert with white hair and a fragile-looking body was the one who attacked.
"Grandmaster Stage 2..." Kael quickly scanned him and grinned.
His body was telling him that stronger-ranked beings were coming. He was literally quivering—not in fear but in excitement.
"Crazy bloodlust..." Kael grinned as he thought. In this form, his strength, speed, and everything else had been enhanced beyond his realm. Although he wasn’t as strong as those at the peak of the Grandmaster Realm, he was still a force to be reckoned with.
Kael moved as the Grandmaster Realm expert’s eyes shrank in horror. The expert dodged to the side but was still too slow.
His body was split in half as silence echoed across the battlefield. The Martial Master Realm experts, who had thought they had survived now that a Grandmaster Realm expert had arrived, were stunned.
Just then, a shockwave was seen as a loud thunderous sound echoed through the battlefield. Someone was sent flying, crashing into a hill, and making it crumble.
That person was Kael. He had been hit by Garrick. His golden form shone like a savior appearing from the darkness—a beacon of light.
The other Grandmaster Realm experts of the Fin Land Kingdom arrived and stood beside Garrick.
The war was already over. No matter who they were, going against the one chosen by the world was plain stupidity.
"You are outnumbered. Crawl here and beg," a Grandmaster Realm expert said. He was tall, with a long beard. He looked like a calm man, but the terrifying aura of Grandmaster Stage 8 radiating from him was anything but calm.
"He is not wrong," Garrick said, chuckling.
In his eyes, Kael was a dead man. He would never spare an enemy.
"Kael..." Valthera said as she clenched her fist but then released it again.
"You shouldn’t have gone against him. Why did you even try to kill him?" Valthera thought, her eyes slowly turning indifferent.
Sigh... this is your doom. No one can save you or help you. I’m sorry, brother... but you caused your own death. Valthera closed her eyes, and when she opened them again, they were full of indifference.
"Crown Prince..." Darius watched, his eyes misty. He had been the protector of this kid ever since he was born, and now he stood at the sidelines, unable to do anything.
"Crown Prince Kael... is this your end?" Kim murmured emotionlessly. She didn’t know what to feel. Although she and Kael didn’t talk much, every time they did, his words had left an impact on her, besides she was engaged to this man.
"Come on, bitches!!!" Kael shouted, and everyone looked at him.
Dozens of Grandmaster Realm experts, all stronger than him, stood before him. And then there was Garrick—who was practically invincible at the Grandmaster Realm. His death was almost certain.
"Insolent being. But I commend your courage, for today, you will die. Attack," Garrick said coldly. His voice morphed, becoming colder—almost machine-like. Only Kael understood what that meant.
The world is alive. Of course, all worlds are, and this one is speaking through Garrick’s body.
"He seems more like a puppet than a living being..." Kael thought with a chuckle.
Boom!
Kael flew back, skidding for twenty meters. One of the Grandmaster Realm experts had hit him, and then the onslaught began.
Blood flowed as Kael was struck from every direction.
"Hmm... why won’t he dodge? He keeps taking the attacks, and these lower beings are getting killed in the crossfire. But whatever. They should finish this soon... they should," Garrick thought. Yet, the longer the fight dragged on, the more he felt like something was wrong.
"Oh, Crown Prince, you dared to kill the only two male heirs of our kingdom? Ha! Death is a luxury for you," a Grandmaster Realm expert chuckled as he walked slowly toward Kael.
Kael was barely standing, his body riddled with various injuries.
He coughed up blood, struggling to raise his head.
"Valthera... I... I’m about to die... Won’t you do something?" Kael said. His voice was low, but everyone here was a martial cultivator with enhanced senses, so they all heard him.
Silence followed as the Grandmaster Realm expert took his time, savoring Kael’s moment of despair.
"Sister..." Kael called again, looking toward Valthera.
Valthera looked back at Kael and sighed.
Still, she said nothing.
"D...Darius..." Kael said, spitting out blood.
Darius clenched his fists, but then he sighed too.
"J...Jack..." Kael called out, looking at the young man who flinched—but in the end, remained silent.
"Uncles?" Kael called out to the Eryndor Kingdom’s Martial Grandmasters, but still, there was no reply.
"Sister!!! Darius!!! Jack!!! Uncles!!!" Kael shouted, shocking everyone.
Kael’s body wobbled, but he managed to regain his footing.
"Hahahaha... as expected," Kael grinned.
Everyone watched in stunned silence as his body healed rapidly. He looked up, the darkness around him deepening, as purple thunder crackled around him.
"Thisworldisaconstantcycleofbetrayalanddisappointment. You’dbea

"I have lived for so, so long that I have grown tired..." Kael smiled.
"Kael!!! Stop this madness! You will die! No physique in this world can beat the Golden Divine God Physique! You are from this world, and you know it!" a stern feminine voice rang out as Valthera finally spoke.
But what answered her was Kael’s hysterical laughter.
"Hahaha! Who said my physique was from this world? Or that I am even from this world? I just wanted to test my hypothesis—and it turns out I was right. You all will die."
"I will devour you all—and this world!!!" Kael laughed as the already dark sky darkened further. Black lightning struck everywhere as a terrifying aura erupted from him.
"No wonder he was taking all those hits while others kept dying... He was using their attacks to kill them." Garrick thought in shock, remembering how Kael grew stronger by killing others.
Boom!
A massive shockwave spread, forcing everyone to shield their eyes.
When they opened them again, they saw something that shook them to their core.
Kael was still in his transformed state, surrounded by even more purple lightning. But his aura... that was what was truly terrifying.
