Chapter 141: Next Destination

Seeing Lilith tears filled Kyle’s eye. He couldn’t believe it, after what felt like eternity. He was now reunited with his demon wife, that’d turned him into a demon.

"L-lilith." Kyle barely uttered, before coughing up fresh blood to the ground. His heart throbbed in pain, as a piercing sensation struck his whole body.

"Kyle.." Lilith weakly uttered rushing to him, and falling to her knees. Tears filled her eyes staring at him in this condition. She’d seen him in bad contions before, but this was just severe for her to bear.

’He’s going to die soon.’ She thought, not sensing his second heart beating. With her advance hearing, she could hear his first heart barely struggling to pump blood.

"Damnit! You’re not dying on me." Lilith yelled bringing out an item. It looked like a red berry of some sort, with strange holes in it.

"Here, eat it." She gently held his head up a bit, placing the red berry to his lips. Smelling it the scent was repulsive to kyle, making him want to throw.

"Don’t be such a baby you jerk, am not losing you this time." Lilith frowned lightly spanking his head. Gritting his teeth, Kyle took a bite out of the red berry fruit. He’d expected something sweet or bitter, but it was neither.

The ionic taste from the fruit assaulted his taste buds, the moment he bit into it. Chewing some more he could clearly tell what this was, having tasted it before.

’A heart?’ He couldn’t mistake the tender, yet juicy feeling of munching down on a heart. Usually it was considered barbaric to eat a raw human heart, but he was a demon. Cooked or roasted food tasted bland in his mouth. But raw meat or any part of the organ, either beast or whatsoever being tasted delicious in his mouth.

The system notification flashed before Kyle’s view.

"A de-mon heart?" He knew it was a heart Lilith gave him to eat, but it never expected it to be a demon heart. They were basically their kind now, so isn’t it cannibalism to eat your own kind?

"Don’t give me that look.. I had no choice, you were about to die." Lilith frowned, puffing her cheeks like a little child. Her arms seductively crossed against her bountiful blossoms.

’Something’s never change.’ Kyle smiled staring at his beautiful demon wife. Looking at her, she seemed more beautiful than before. with her pale white skin, and silky long black hair reaching her waist. She was in yet another revealing clothing. A long dress made from silk with no arms, and a cut separating her two marshmallows.

On her waist was a gold belt with the head of a snake. The dress was further spilt below, leaving more than enough room for movement.

"H-how did you find me?" Kyle weakly uttered placing his hand to her cheek. He didn’t know why, but for some reason he couldn’t feel a sense of touch while touching Lilith.

’Maybe it’s because am still regenerating?’ He thought, going with the most plausible idea his senses where hindered to touch for now, because of his state.

"Idiot! This was my home before." Lilith snarled rolling her eyes a bit. "And you’ve caused quite a ruckus in hell you know."

"Sorry.."

"It’s alright, am just glad I wasn’t too late before you died." Lilith said in a sad and pained expression. Her eyes squinting a bit in anger.

"Don’t be too hard on yourself. I owe you my life, again." Kyle chuckled grunting in pain a bit, from the sudden spike in his lungs.

"You’re still recovering you shouldn’t move for now." Lilith softly said, her enchanting black eyes gazing down to kyle.

"C-come on, let’s get out of here." Kyle hurriedly said, realizing they were still in danger as long as they were in hell.

"I can’t." her expression saddened more in a bitter tone.

"What do you mean you can’t?" Kyle asked confused what she was saying. "Just teleport us out of here like you usually do."

"I wish I could, but my powers doesn’t work here. Lucifer must’ve found a way to block out my powers, so I can’t use them in here."

"Then we’ll run away! Yeah~" Kyle excitedly spoke refusing to give up. A light smile escaped Lilith’s lips, staring at Kyle’s strong will.

"How? We’re in hell, his domain." She gestured pointing out.

"It doesn’t matter, we’ll find a way. Let’s just go." Kyle uttered with teary eyes. He couldn’t afford to lose her again, and his opportunity was slipping from his hands for every second more they wasted here.

"As much as I want to so badly I can’t. This is just a clone I managed to create, before Lucifer blocked my powers. He doesn’t know about it. well, until now. That’s how I was able to get to you." Lilith explained with a bitter smile.

"So you’re still locked, with him." A vein bulged on Kyle’s forehead hearing her. Rage rising within him, as his blood boiled more.

"There’s nothing you can do Kyle. Not in this state." She then brought out another item from her side. It wasn’t organic like before but metallic, like a small oval ball with a hole on top.

Rolling it a bit the ball stopped, then began swirling rapidly generating a portal like hole.

"You have to go now. Take your family and go into the portal. It’ll transport you back to the bridge where you came from."

"No, am not leaving you!" Kyle refused. "It’s either we all go or none of us leaves here."

"Sighs.. I knew you’d still be stubborn." She smiled slightly shaking her head. She then planted her lips to his, locking in a deep kiss.

Their tongues entwining together in harmony, savoring each other’s warmth.

Breaking away, Lilith then shoved Kyle with enough power into the hole. He couldn’t react as he was pulled into the portal. The last thing he saw was Lilith standing there, with her warm smile.

Back in the cave a portal opened with the protrusion of a figure. A second later, 2 more figures made their way out of the portal, which magically disappeared.

"N-no." Kyle stuttered void of energy. He’d tried going back in before the portal closed, but there wasn’t a single ounce of strength he could muster.

"There.. there.." xia and ron muttered embracing Kyle with a hug. His mother gently patting his head, making him let out a weak sigh as tears strolled down his eyes.

"Thanks mom and dad." Kyle finally uttered after some moments of sulking. Laying in the cave because it was now nighttime, Kyle gisted with his parents.

Reminiscing about the old times they were still together, back in tokyo. He then told them all what happened while in aunt Kimi’s house. From his little hunt to the fake bar, to becoming a demon and so on.

’I can’t tell them about the system.’ Kyle didn’t want to inform his parent about the system yet. It wasn’t that he didn’t trust them, but he just didn’t want them to get conjured up in this madness.

He’d already gotten them into enough trouble, from the moment he stupidly became the successor of the second strongest demon. Which was the demon of lust, and unfortunately Lucifer’s run away bride.

"Am sorry. If it wasn’t for me you guys wouldn’t be on this mess. If I hadn’t missed my flight, we could’ve still had a normal life." Kyle apologized clenching his fist a bit. The duo stared at each other for a while, then to their son. Their faces a mixture of shock, disbelief and confusion.

Hearing Kyle’s story, it sounded nothing more but a perverts delusional fantasies. It wasn’t real! But seeing how much of a man no demon he’d become, they couldn’t help but believe him.

"Son." They both uttered in a husky voice hugging Kyle. Taken aback the latter was stunned, not expecting their reaction at all. He’d expected them to be mad and scold him, but they did the exact opposite.

"I-i love you guys and I promise to return you to normal." Kyle vowed hugging them tightly. The trio then slept in the cave in reunion, after a long time apart.

Reaching morning Kyle was already awake along with his parents. Retracing his steps, he came across his frozen katana laying on the floor besides the map.

"Thank you Lilith." Kyle smiled picking up the katana and map, equipping them to himself. It didn’t take long before they found their way out to the entrance of the cave. The harsh rays from the two suns hitting them in the face, even though it was early in the morning.

Bringing out the map Kyle checked his next destination. He could see he was much closer to Lumia, as he’d just have to pass a castle then a forest.
