When Victoria was hiding behind the wall, her hand was directly touched by her husband which made her eyes widen. She wanted to release the grip of her husband’s hand that was too tight, but her energy was still weak.

"What are you doing?!" Victoria snapped.

"Then why did you run away from me?"

"Because I didn’t deserve to see it earlier. Why would I see you kissing another woman?"

Matthias’ eyes widened. "What? I kissed Amber?"

"Yes, I saw it with my own eyes. You looked like you were really enjoying the kiss. You are really a bastard."

"Then, should I kiss you now so that you will believe me?" When Matthias wanted to move his lips forward, Victoria immediately pushed his muscular body with all her might.

"Are you crazy?!"

"Yes, I am crazy. I acted like this because you misunderstood me earlier!"

Victoria immediately looked away and stomped her feet. "Okay, I’ll try to forget what happened earlier. Just pretend that you didn’t do it on purpose!"

"Victoria!" Matthias ran after his wife, but he had to behave himself because Amber was also in the area watching them now.

Seeing the couple arguing again, Amber smiled slyly as she walked gracefully towards Matthias. She deliberately put on a pitiful expression so that Matthias would not scold her for this matter.

Matthias looked away in annoyance. For some reason, whenever Amber was around, his relationship with Victoria always ended like this. In fact, he began to suspect that Amber’s arrival at this time had an ulterior motive.

"If you don’t have any other business, you should just leave here!"

"Actually, my purpose in coming to you now is to ask for your opinion." Amber glared at her enemy. "Maybe Victoria can come too."

Victoria looked away as she let go of her husband’s hand. "No need. I just remembered that I have other matters to attend to."

"Did you just lie?" Matthias scolded.

"No. I just suddenly had a meeting!"

"Still, I don’t want to accept any excuses from you." Matthias stared at his friend with an angry look. "Is it true that you want to give me some advice?"

"Of course. Because my advice will be useful for Victoria too."

Matthias looked at his wife with a sad look. "Do you mind if Amber accompanies us too?"

Victoria reluctantly complies with her husband and the snake woman’s wishes before things get more complicated. "It’s okay. Maybe Amber has a point. Her advice will be very useful for me later."

Amber immediately embraced her enemy’s hand with a pleading face. "I’m sorry for disturbing you from working."

Victoria actually felt uncomfortable with Amber’s presence while at the project site. She was very angry to see Matthias’ attitude that looked as if nothing had happened even though he had previously clarified that they actually did not kiss. As a result of witnessing the unexpected scene, she felt her body getting hotter. Both hands continued to flick the collar of her shirt while sipping the lemon juice that Jennifer bought.

Jennifer could only shake her head at her best friend’s very childish behavior. "Come on, don’t be jealous anymore! If you’re still jealous, you’ll feel hot all the time!"

Victoria rolled her eyes. "Jennifer, just imagine if your boyfriend suddenly kissed another woman! Wouldn’t you be angry?"

"But if Matthias really clarified that they didn’t actually kiss, wouldn’t that be great?"

"It’s actually good. But, what if he lied? I won’t forgive him right away!"

"By the way, why are you getting so angry? Haven’t you hated your husband so much all this time?"

"I still hate him. In fact, he has become more and more annoying in my eyes."

Seeing her friend’s increasingly childish behavior, Jennifer burst out laughing until her face turned red. "Victoria, maybe you’re jealous right now!"
