"Yeah, why?" Her eyes narrowed at her partner. "Am I not allowed to have lunch with my ex-fiancé?"

"I would rather you date Matthias. He’s cuter than Ansel."

"Then you can just date him, I’m willing."

"But, do you really not regret it? Until now you still don’t like him?"

Victoria raised her right eyebrow and put her hands on her hips. "Besides, he started it first. He secretly cheated on me."

Louis rested his chin on his chair and sat down. "But, it’s strange. Matthias is not the type of man who likes to cheat. He may have a very handsome face, but his cold attitude makes women a little afraid of him."

"I think he’s too sweet. He’s never been mean to me." Unconsciously, she widened her smile even more imagining the sweet treatment Matthias had given her all this time.

"I miss you so much, Victoria. Even though we’ve been communicating by phone, I still miss you. Ever since you became someone else’s wife, I haven’t been able to sleep well."

"Are you really that worried about me to this extent?"

"Of course. Because I still can’t give you to another man."

Victoria laughed gracefully as she patted the back of her ex-fiancé’s hand. "Don’t worry, I’ve been fine living with my husband. He still treats me well."

"By the way, do you still want to maintain your relationship?"

"Actually, I’m testing him now. If he really fails to win my heart, then I have to divorce him. But if I look at his unyielding personality, it seems like he won’t let me go easily."

"I don’t mean to provoke you, but if your husband cares more about another woman, you should stay away from him now."
