Chapter 616: And the royal wedding continues
The mighty little peep star: [ The emperor’s generosity continues, all the food from the banquet which was not eaten was distributed in shelters for the homeless, not even a drop was wasted.
Even street dogs and cats in the capital received a share.
Three hundred sixty eight million, that is the price altogether of the cars which lead the procession to pick up the princess.
Fifteen million is the total cost of all three gowns she wore.
Unrelated to the royal wedding which continues, Korean actor Grace Kim secretly landed in our empire last night.
Where are the ’oppa’ loving ladies?
And lastly, Yan Yan, the natural beauty of Shanghai got a nose job.]
For everything, as always, evidence was attached. The peep star did not make false claims after all.
That Yan Yan before and after picture especially, she thought would cause a lot of ruckus. She was an A rated actress in the empire with dragon entertainment.
She came to light because of her doll like appearance and slim nose which many called unreal. Her fans in particular were quick to bite anyone anyone that dared to say she got a nose job.
T4 located an old picture of hers before she became the Shanghai beauty and it was obvious, Yan Yan got a nose job.
[Hold up! So cats and dogs tasted food from the royal feast but I did not not?]
[Even rats tasted that food but I missed out. I didn’t even get a spoon of soup from the royal banquet.]
[Take down that picture of Yan Yan quickly before I call the police.]
[Hahaha peep star did you have to mention cats and dogs?]
[Over three hundred million, my small car costs sixty thousand yuan. The rich are really different from us.]
[Cats and dogs, lol!]
[Isn’t Grace Kim that lead actor in graceful uncle, why is he here? Are they filming and episode of the series here? Begging for more information.]
[I see no difference between Yan Yan’s before and after picture. All I see is a cheap paparazzo looking for clout.]
[Oppa lover here, Grace Kim beats Wu Liang in looks.]
[So you took a picture of the traditional gowns the princess used but you failed to get a picture of the white wedding dress. You are becoming lazy peep star, back off Yan Yan and do your job.]
So early as seven in the morning, Chi Lian posted this from the Palace hotel, the venue for her brother’s white wedding.
She was with the bride and other bridesmaids in a dressing room getting their hair and make up done. Each of them was sitting in front of the mirror and the bride took the central and largest chair. They were undergoing final touches and counting down the minutes until the beautiful ordeal ended.
She had adamantly refused the role of bridesmaid but the queen dowager and empress insisted, eventually they wore her down.
Madam An and her mother had called it an honor to be asked, so here she was, in a beautiful red dress, similar to that of eight other bridesmaids who would be paving the way for the bride.
Why the bride needed eight bridesmaids, she had no clue. But even Mei-Mei and little Monk had been wrangled into the procession.
"Get off your phone Chi-Chi, what are you even doing?" Muyang’s mother who was one of the stylists grabbed the phone from her and took it away.
"Mother-in-law." Chi Lian complained. Yan Yan’s manager had just reached out, offering her money to take the post down. Even though she did not need the money, she preferred to keep up appearances as a paparazzo.
"You will get it back after the wedding, we have only a few minutes left until we leave for the ceremony." He Weili replied.
"Why is the wedding happening in the morning? Who made this crazy decision?" Chi Lian mumbled. Weddings ideally started in the afternoon, not eight in the morning.
"I did." Rize tilted forward and answered.
The queen dowager pushed her back into her seat and said. "Stay still, you will ruin your face."
"I think it’s crazy too, princess you did is dirty." Xue Lili strolled over and complained.
"Shut up fatty Lili." Rize reiterated.
"Don’t call me that." Lili hissed.
"You two, separate." Qin Meng pulled Xue Lili away. Brides were always nervous before their weddings and these two did not need to be around each other right now.
The door to the large dressing room swung open and in walked a photographer with his team.
"Time for the photoshoot to begin, please escort the bride to the waiting room."
Rize stood up and all the bridesmaids lined up behind her. Carefully, she was helped out to the waiting room and the photographer started on his job.
While this was happening, Chi Lian wondered why the more one was told to smile is the more their smile disappeared and appeared forced.
Time rushed and unexpectedly, it was time to make their entrance. The emperor and empress were fussing over Rize as they waited for the bride’s turn to make her entrance.
"You should have had a fancy wedding like this one." T4 commented.
"I am sweating beneath this dress." She replied.
"How is that related to my earlier statement?" T4 asked.
"Never mind." she replied.
"By the way, I was a witness to some very beautiful hacking and coding that your husband and a few of his colleagues engaged in last night. They broke into a computer inside an office in Wun electronics. Why didn’t you tell him that we had already accessed it and you had the information?"
"Because now that the emperor has the books, I do not need to serve everything up to him on a silver platter. Some things, he should take care of himself. I will stick to scandals, gossip and protecting my family as much as I can. I have not even finished my mission and I have lost one whole week already."
She had been splitting her time between helping Rize with the wedding, connecting the dots in those plotting to rebel, keeping the Yan’s at bay and running her business. Even though she had help from the system, she had to physically do some of these things on her own.
"Smile," Lili whispered to her.
Chi Lian smiled again, and walked forward, matching the rhythm of the other bridesmaids. She wanted to wave at her husband but they had been told not to do anything that would draw attention away from the bride so she clenched her fingers around the flowers in her hands.
Everyone took their designated seats and the bride was handed over to her husband who was waited at the front in a plain white suit and a broad smile.
She saw her brother cover his mouth and rein in his emotions, those reddish eyes of his despite the broad smile on his face were a dead give away of how excited and emotional he was.
She was right, even the netizens could see how emotional he was. Today was not an official public holiday and most citizens who had to work were watching the wedding from their places of work. Some were doing it sneakily while others did so openly because their bosses were watching the wedding as well.
[The groom is crying, I saw that.]
[Oh my God, look at princess’s gown. How long is that tail?]
[The little flower girls and boys are so cute.]
[The groom is emotional, but I would be the same way if I was marrying a prince.]
[Marry a princess and become a minister, this is too unfair.]
[More of our tax payer’s money is being wasted and you are all acting blind. Does nobody care?]
[The wedding was paid for by the Chi’s solely, do they have your taxpayer’s money? Some of you are jealous and stupid.]
