Chapter 550: Happily married couple.
Chapter 550: Happily married couple.
After talking things over carefully with Muyang, they came up with a plan to do a live broad cast of at least two hours from their honey moon daily. While he stepped away to make a call and explain how they decided to deal with the matter to his parents, Chi Lian started a conversation with T4.
"Why didn’t you stop the article the moment it popped up? Did your special program which alerts you whenever my name pops up start failing?"
"No, you are a paparazzo, isn’t it better for the peep star to respond to this issue than let go of such good points?"
T4 was like a tactical master plotting which moves which would make the system level up faster. Using Ian Smith’s phone he had hacked into a small online publication in America to spread the news of the separation of the princess and her fiancé. In order to spread the name of the peep star, the title was particularly titled.
"Chinese paparazzo the mighty little peep star alleges that the princess and her oligarch have gone their separate ways and shares alleged speech stamped and approved by the King to be shared by the royal spokesman tomorrow."
T4 had managed to put the name of the peep star out there first before anything else. Naturally, he also shared the article on many social media sites and inflated the number of likes and shares getting people to suddenly pick up on the story.
Within ten minutes, major gossip sites were picking up the story but maintaining the words, Chinese paparazzo and alleged. They all wanted plausible deniability if the royal family decided to sue or deny the allegations but at the same time, they wanted to share the news in case it was true and not lag behind other gossip and entertainment news sites.
Whatever they chose to do, the name the peep star was out there with many wondering if the news was false or true. And when the royal family confirmed the split of the couple, their interest in the peep star piqued as they wondered how a Chinese paparazzo found out this information before them all.
The mighty little peep star: [True or false; Jun Muyang and Chi Lian are a false couple with a sexless marriage. If anybody wants this peep star’s opinion, all I will say is that I have it on good authority that this happily married couple is sailing on a romance filled vacation/ honeymoon at this very moment.]
She attached the exact post Chi Lian shared in her family group chat with the exact caption she had used about sharing a sunset with a beautiful man.
Jin loves Jun: [I knew the peep star would have something to say about this, you are the only paparazzo I trust.]
Fire baby: [Young master Jun is not the type to need a contract wife, some of you are idiots please wake up.]
Sweet corn: [These are old videos of the couple when they were on a date night. Tell me why he took a contracted wife out on a date?]
Daoist Q: [I always knew there was something fishy about that marriage, it’s a contract marriage.]
Queen Lin hearts the PM: [Such a sweet couple looking at the sunset with their beautiful pets. It’s a beautiful picture with a beautiful man indeed.]
Cat Girl: [Have you been paid to do PR for them already?]
Fairy Dong’s pinky toe: [Some of you are stupid!! there is a time stamp on that photo which shows exactly when it was taken. It was a few seconds after the article was released. This is PR at work.]
As Chi Lian read through the comments, she also thought about the rewards she had received from the system for leveling up.
Rewards: One small data collection button camera, a pair of interchangeable glasses that could either be sun glasses or ordinary eye glasses with the tap of a finger, a two time use special fire works flare gun which can be used when in need of a distraction, another smart gun and five drops of vision correcting drops because according to T4 a paparazzo spent a lot of time staring at computers.
Of all things that she received, the vision correcting drops were not necessary for her because she did not spend a lot of time staring at the computer.
The button camera she planned to give Monkey to survey the green gang territory better. He was sharp and quick on his feet but progress was still slow. If there were levels one to ten, with one being the highest then Monkey was still at ten. It would take him a long time to climb up, time which they did not have.
"Our dinner is ready." Muyang returned to the living room and pulled her up. "Will you do me the honor of being my dinner date?" he smiled charmingly after asking.
"Mmm" she looked as if she was considering it, "I don’t know I mean you are not my type..." He scooped her up and she squealed, "Cheating young master Jun, this is considered cheating."
"How have I cheated? How is this any different from you blackmailing me into agreeing to a date using our daughter’s sticky fingers as a threat?" He reminded her of that day and she laughed.
"Oh, you should have seen your face, hahahaa, you looked like you wanted to rip my head off. I was not sure that I would survive the date." she found the memory to be quite hilarious now.
Muyang sat her down on a chair in the beautifully decorated dining room. The windows were draped with white silk curtains which flew up slowly as the sea breeze sought entrance into the yacht. The dining table itself was decorated with candles and fresh flowers. It smelled like the grape fruit oil which she gave him for his office. Two glasses of wine had been poured out already, waiting for the owners. The lighting was dim and a beautiful piano music was coming from a sound bar standing in the corner, under a counter.
"It’s beautiful." she said. "Did you do all this?"
"Do you love it?" he asked her.
"I love it, it reminds me slightly of our first date alone, with no children, guards, friends or pets like these two to intrude on our private moments. We were inside the house...." she brought forth the memory in her mind.
"In the tent." he completed.
"I was so excited and nervous." she added. "I prepared everything in a hurry because I asked you to come for a date without making any preparations and I was expecting you to say no because you were busy. I even showered and dressed up in a hurry, my dress was on inside out." she laughed at herself.
"And I never noticed because all I wanted to do was kiss you and then fall asleep together in that tent because I was exhausted." He could remember it vividly, he even recalled the smell of the food and the taste of the wine. He could recite their conversation word for word that night. "But you were beautifully breathtaking that night, just as you are right now. How can anyone look at such a beauty and think I married you because of a contract?"
She blushed and covered her cheeks, wondering why he sounded romantically mushy to the extremes. "Stop it." she said, so bashful and yet loving it.
He grabbed her hand and squeezed it, "I mean it, you make me feel so many overwhelming things." he assured her with his words and his gaze.
"I know." she smiled, "Why else would you do something so sentimental like naming a yacht after the two of us? After seeing all the mockery endured from your brothers I am surprised that you did it. So, as we reminisce about our journey why don’t we toast to the Juan sea?"
She picked up her wine glass and so did he, toasting to the love and happiness they found in each other. Tonight was theirs, tomorrow they would deal with the world.
