"She earned the name, it’s not as if I am pulling it out of thin air." the emperor mumbled. "The butler told me that she sent over some things today, what were they?"

"Grapes and peaches, I have already told the kitchen to bring us some while we watch the show. She also sent grape fruit scented oil, it’s supposed good for the skin. She is really such a good girl." The empress smiled. "If Jun Muyang had not snatched her up already I would have seen to it that she married one of our sons."

The emperor shook his head, his wife was really taken in by Chi Lian. How many times did she say those exact same words every week?

Chi Lian meanwhile left half way through the show after confirming to her satisfaction that it was a success. Because it would be the first episode it was going to be a two hour special, she could just as easily watch it from home with the rest of the family. Bear and Gu Xixi were keeping an eye on things and Squirrel with two others were keeping an eye on Pd Rao and vetting whoever stepped on to the stage.

With all this in mind, Chi Lian got on the new motorcycle and rode home, arriving in ten minutes. The only difference between this one and the first one she received was that this one was black and blue in color.

"Is that young master Jun’s wife?" one of the soldier’s manning the gates asked.

"Yes," the other one agreed, "She is the only woman that rides a motorcycle in the courts. I heard that that motorcycle is worth as much as a sports car."

"Don’t you all have eyes?" another soldier asked. "This one is new, the color is different."

"Ho, this cursed fate of mine, I live my life opening the gate for the wealthy. I would rather return to a battle field than keep doing this." the first soldier lamented. The other soldiers made no move to respond because this was the third time they had heard him say this in a space of one week.

"Congratulations." Chi Lian heard these words the moment she entered the living room. Muyang and the children were standing in one line, each of them was holding flowers in their hands.

"Mummy cong...cong.." Mei-Mei struggled to say congratulations but she was waving the flowers in the air. A few petals had fallen off, and Mei-Mei trampled them in her excitement.

"How did you all know that I was back?" She happily collected the flowers from all of them. "Why am I being congratulated?"

"For a successful show aunt." Rose replied.

"Thank you." Chi Lian carried the children and they all sat down in the living room. It was now that she noticed all the people here, the Jun’s, her family and her grandparents. "Everyone’s here." she said in surprise.

"We came to support you." Chi Wei said loudly, "You refused us to be part of the live audience so we gathered together to watch it under one roof."

She was so touched that the smile on her face simply refused to fade. She had no idea that they planned this at all. "Thank you for your support, I would squeeze out a few tears but my eyes are dry."

"Congratulations sister-in-law." Rize called out. "I still think I would have done a better job than Bucky man."

Until tea with a princess went back on air, Chi Lian knew that she would probably not hear the end of this.

"Yes princess, you are the best host in the empire but don’t forget to give me a list of potential guests you want to host. The show needs to be planned out in advance."

"She has a wedding to prepare for please go easy on her." Chi Rui who was sitting next to Rize mentioned.

"I am preparing for a wedding too." Chi Wei announced. "But we are congratulating sister now, we can discuss my wedding later." he added quickly.

Chi Lian looked at her parents but they did not seem to be too eager to comment and neither were her grandparents so she chose not to say anything too.

Some people like the old madam were torn between asking Chi Lian about the show and asking Chi Wei about who he was dating and when he planned to marry. She finally chose Chi Lian over Chi Wei and said, "I prepared a feast for you. Go upstairs and take a bath, when you come down we will eat."

She was taken back a little bit, "Grandma, have none of you eaten?"

"We were waiting for you?"

"What if I came back later than now?"

"I would have waited." the old madam insisted.

Chi Lian looked at her gratefully and went upstairs with Muyang, since the children were in her arms, they went with her. In the bedroom, she put them on the bed and asked Muyang, "Why did you allow grandma to postpone dinner? Grandpa must be starving, you too, aren’t you hungry?"

"Have you ever tried to get grandma to do anything she is against? Not even grandpa can successfully do that. But don’t worry we have eaten fruits."

She went to the bathroom and had a quick bath, while in there she could hear Muyang reading to the children. After her bath, she changed into a simple grey silk dress and she was ready for dinner.

"You look like you are going to eat out?" Muyang commented.

"Everyone downstairs is looking smart, I have to keep up. Cherry looks like she is going for a party."

"She always looks like that, she might be the best person to take our children shopping."

Chi Lian gave her husband a side eye as they went downstairs, "Hubby, are you saying that my taste in clothes is bad?"

Muyang thought back to all the clothes he had seen his wife wearing outside the office. She had a taste for cargo pants, t-shirts, denim dresses and boots. His mother went through her closet every month, bringing in new clothes and swapping out old ones.

"I think your taste is fine, it’s perfect for me."

"Hmm," she laughed. It was a nice save! "Are the Smiths around by the way?"

"They went to the catacombs, their son said they would be spending the night out."

The old madam called everyone to the dinner table immediately after she saw them. "This large meal is to celebrate another victory for phoenix Tv." she reminded everyone.

Since she was being celebrated, Chi Lian made up her mind to give the employees some red envelopes and bonuses. Perhaps a few had also earned a raise with all the sleepless nights they had been putting in. It would motivate the team which was preparing for the show shark tank to work faster. It had to go on air before summer, she had plans for the summer.

In the next few months there was much for her to accomplish before she could finally sail way for that long honeymoon on a submarine with her beloved husband.
