The post had gone extremely viral that the police was bombarded with phone calls and they were forced to say something under the pressure from the public. Moreover, people were threatening to do all sorts of physical body harm to Hian’s husband.

"Yesterday," Chi Lian answered angrily and she played a video on her phone for them all to see. "Grandmother forced mum to give her money for a villa and get uncle and cousin jobs. When mum said it was impossible she asked her to escort her into the bathroom and then she beat her up in there."

Papa Chi was frowning angrily as he watched and listened to the unbelievable video.

"Turn that off." Mama Chi screamed harshly at Chi Lian. "She is my mother, what do you expect me to do? I can’t refuse to help her; I can’t fight back if she beats me. What kind of child retaliates against their own parent? She raised us alone after our father died, she also suffered. "

Mama Chi was filled with shame and guilt. The good life they had now was made possible by her daughter and yet here she was, taking from their family to replenish her maternal family.
