Chapter 250: Good or bad names?

"Black?" Mei-Mei looked at Chi Lian with questions in her eyes.

Chi Lian squatted down and handed the puppy in her arms to Mei-Mei. "No baby, this is ...not blackguard." She said after a little pause because she realized that the puppies did not have a name yet.

Mei-Mei called every dog she met Black or Coo. Coo was short for Cooper Muyang’s golden retriever.

"Coo." Mei-Mei said and happily clapped for herself.

Chi Lian looked at Muyang and asked, "Do the puppies have names?"

"They are your dogs, you name them." He answered and then he carried little monk and placed him high up on his shoulders.

Chi Lian was considering what beautiful unique names to give the two puppies. In fact, even Blackguards wife did not have a name. Everyone simply referred to her as Blackguard’s wife. Perhaps it was time to find a name for her too.

"T4, do you have any ideas?" she was coming up blank.

"Host, what about magenta, aquamarine, death star?" the system suggested with a hint of pride in its voice.

"Those sound like villain names." She responded.

Who in the world named a puppy death star? Would anyone play with such a dog? Some superstitious individuals would attach meaning to the name randomly.

Chi Lian looked at the two puppies for unique identifying markers.

"This one is female and she has a white patch on the nose which resembles a biscuit." She pointed to the puppy in Mei-Mei’s arms. "So we can call her biscuit."

She looked at the one which a bodyguard was carrying. "Well, we already have Blackguard so this one might as well be called White knight because his fur is mostly white." She suggested and then she smiled proudly.

"Biscuit and White knight," Muyang repeated the names after her.

Were they innovative or just random? To him Chi Lian had the most unusual thoughts when it came to naming things. She had a bat named wrath, a dog named Blackguard, a cat named Pearl and now Biscuit and White knight. She assigned names basing on function and color.

He really needed his grandfather to give little monk a proper name before she named their son after a metal, food or some other tiny ridiculous thing. This creativity could not be extended to their kids, what if one day she looked at little Monk’s curly hair and decided to name him popcorn?

Chi Lian on the other hand was very proud of herself. She smiled at Muyang and asked, "Muyang aren’t I a genius?"

"Yes dear, you are the best." Muyang answered with a grin on his face.

His lips were curved upwards and his smile looked so genuine.

Chi Lian went ahead to clap for herself while looking at Mei-Mei who jumped up and down shouting ’hooray biscuit’ in return.

Even Biscuit was barking for no reason, she was just excited because her new master was excited.

’I was wrong,’ Muyang thought, ’like mother like daughter.’

"We should pack up and return for lunch," Muyang suggested after their little four minute celebration was over.

"But Yifei is not yet awake." Chi Lian responded.

"It’s better if we return, if she is still unconscious when we get home, we can send her to a hospital for a proper medical checkup. The longer the day goes, the colder it becomes and we are standing on ice. I don’t want the children to be in such weather for too long." He explained to her with a grimace on his face as he watched the falling snow become thicker by the hour.

Chi Lian nodded then she went to the car and returned with two storage boxes.

Muyang and the guards packed up all the fish they had caught and the boxes were placed in the cars.

Chi Lian told Mei-Mei and little monk to say goodbye to all their new friends and then they set off.

Mei-Mei and Chi Lian looked back at the lake sadly as it drove away. They would obviously have loved to stay and play for a while longer.

Chi Lian sighed as the sight of the lake faded away completely.

"Don’t worry; we will come back again next year if you want. If you want to skate and sled on a frozen lake, there is one in the emperor’s courts. It also freezes completely in the winter, you can try it when we go back home." Muyang reminded her of what she had forgotten.

She cheered up but quickly frowned again.

"It’s the emperor’s man-made lake. I was told that commoners are not allowed to play around in it." She answered sullenly.

It was like he had handed her ice cream and just before she could bite, it was removed from her sight.

"You are not just any commoner, the emperor values you. If you want to, you can always trade something for permission to use the lake."

Of course, she remembered that she had a mall filled with alien technology. She could always trade something for whatever she wanted. The question now was what to trade.

It could not be dangerous or have the potential to endanger and devastates the lives of the common people. She could always figure it out later anyway when she was alone, she did not want Muyang to wonder why she was spacing out.

"Just look at your phone for a while." T4 suggested.

She took her phone out and started randomly scrolling but her eyes were actually looking at the virtual screen and scrolling through her mall.

She made sure to avoid the weapons section and look only at the technology section.

One thing that drew her attention was the metallic replications of dinosaurs which looked so real. Her mind flashed to the movie Jurassic world from earth in which scientists created a park with dinosaurs. Could she do the same? She could make so much money from them, she could see it already.

She remembered the consequences of that experiment and she shivered. While they were fascinating, they did not meet her purpose at the moment.

Everything she found was too complicated or too eye catching. Others like robot vacuum cleaners were too simple to be eye catching.

"Are you still searching for Hian?" Muyang asked because she was frowning. "Don’t worry about it, I asked a friend to search for clues and one hour ago he said he found something."
